Let's Talk About Sex - Zac Efron

That's My Boy
Zac Efron
I bet today's byline was a real attention getter and wetter. Who wouldn't want to talk about sex with my boy Zac Efron???

However this is a something of a tease, or perhaps not depending on your POV.

Zac is talking about sex on camera, you know the movies. I'd love to know what he has to say, wouldn't you?

File this under: Surreal

"I was nervous because I've been in love with her since I can remember," Zac Efron said of filming his sex scene with Heather Graham for his 2012 film, At Any Price. "It was very surreal." (source People Magazine)

Awwwwwwwww...too cute, hey what else would you expect from Zac?

Let's Talk About Sex: Jon Hamm

Jon Hamm
In
Bridesmaids
Did the byline titillate you? Perhaps arouse you? Or at least make you curious? Well here is stud Jon Hamm to talk about sex. Sort of, while catching a wave on the WWW I found Hamm addressing his sex scene in Bridesmaids via People Magazine and since I love me a slice of Hamm I had to read more!

Well he did not disappoint. He delivered exactly the type of answer you'd expect from a guy who oozes S-E-X...

File this under Enjoyable:

"While Jon Hamm admits it was awkward filming his sex scene with Kristen Wiig in the 2012 comedy Bridesmaids (especially since he had to wear a "flesh-colored thong"), he also kind of … well, enjoyed it. "It's like running in the rain. There's a certain point where you go, 'Fuck it, I'm already wet. I'm not going to get any less wet so I might as well enjoy how this feels,'" he told Playboy." (text People Magazine)

Hows that for some Saturday Sizzle? Thought so!

Go Commando!

Turned Towards The Sun
The astonishing true life story of British Commando Michael Burn M.C.

To be released on DVD and digital formats on December 15th
"An extraordinary 20th-century life recalled in age" - The Arts Desk
"A fascinating watch for any lover of film and documentary" (5 stars) - The Upcoming
Poetry in motion.

Turned Towards The Sun, a documentary about the extraordinary life of British writer and poet Michael 'Micky' Burn MC, is to be released on December 15th through MVD Entertainment Group.

Had Micky's life story been written as a novel, readers would readily accept it as invented. Born in Mayfair in 1912, his father worked for the Royal family. He became the lover of the communist spy Guy Burgess, and would initially be taken in by Nazism, expressing an admiration for Hitler. In 1942, he took part in a daring commando assault on the fortified French port of St Nazaire, where he was captured, and he ended the war a POW in Colditz. He would latterly become a committed Marxist and be credited with saving the life of Audrey Hepburn.

American director Greg Olliver, who has previously documented the life of rock star Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead, and blues legend Johnny Winter, started making this film in 2008, revisiting significant events and places in Burn's life. Burn is presented here as a candid and witty raconteur, with a sharp mind and vivid recollections. He died in 2010, which leaves Turned Towards the Sun as a fitting eulogy to a remarkable figure.

"This film is about having one last chance to look back on a long, fulfilling life and Micky Burn has a story like no other", says Olliver.  "I met him through a chance encounter and was soon taken by the charm, intelligence and humour vividly on display in his storytelling and the resilience and compassion of his spirit evident in his tales. He was an old man living life quietly on the coast of Wales, but one with a personal history that wove and wound itself around the defining moments of the twentieth century. With surprising candor and zeal, he opened himself to the camera and its imagined audience; allowing us, now, a glimpse of his life remembered from what would become its twilight. Turned Towards the Sun is a portrait of an extraordinary man who lived through extraordinary times. In his story, we see our history and ourselves."

Turned Towards The Sun had its world premiere at the BFI London Film Festival in 2012 where it was nominated for The Grierson - Best Documentary Award.

The Who Announces Their Quadrophenia Tour

Roger Daltrey & Pete Townshend
The classic rockers announced they are headed for the road and it seems guitarist Pete Townshend wants to do more than "Move Like Jagger"....

At a press conference announcing the Who's fall Quadrophenia tour today, Pete Townshend made a racy joke about Mick Jagger. "What I remember of the size of Mick Jagger's penis – I remember it as being huge and extremely tasty," the Who guitarist said, referencing Keith Richards' disparaging remarks on the topic in his 2010 memoir.

As a foot note they have a piece of music that is going to be included in the close of The Olympics...rock on with your bad selves!

Sylvia Tosun "World Keeps Turning"

Sylvia Tosun is a singer-songwriter to be reckoned with. The operatically trained vocal powerhouse has a big hit on her hands with the thoughtful and extremely danceable, “World Keeps Turning”.

She also owns Sea to Sun Recordings, her own record label that puts out all of her music as well as Traci Lord's current dance smash, “Last Drag”. Sylvia appears in the song's video and gets to make out with Traci.

A smash hit single, her own record label and in a music video making out with an icon….fluff up your pillow and dream, here comes Sylvia Tosun!

MS: Hey Sylvia, since 2011 was such a lame year, let’s kick off the beginning of 2012 with some fun!

ST: 2011 sucked, completely! S-U-X apostrophe D!

MS: Then let’s rock 2012!

ST: You’re on!

MS: Since the 411 is you were an opera singer, what is your favorite opera to perform?

ST: La Boheme.

MS: Which male rock star would you be if you could?

ST: Freddie Mercury!

MS: Awesome, I picked David Bowie.

ST: Oh, I’d take him too, anytime baby! (laughs)

MS: What else would you like to own besides a record company?

ST: A mansion and a yacht.

MS: Oh, good one! Name your favorite place to write music.

ST: In my head.
MS: That makes sense, I thought maybe you had a little tranquil room or place you might go to.

ST: It’s always tranquil in my head with enough wine! (laughs)

MS: Funny, I drink wine when I write too!

ST: Totally, with a bottle of wine I can sit in a corner anywhere and write.

MS: Do you sing in the shower?

ST: Never! Once in a while if I am in a hurry I will vocalize in the shower, but I never sing in it.

MS: Since you lock lips in the video for “Last Drag” with her, what kind of a kisser is Traci Lords?

ST: Oh My God, she’s great! She’s amazing, she’s gorgeous, articulate and extremely intelligent. Also she is a lot of fun!

MS: Thanks Sylvia, you rule!

Keep the fun flowing in 2012 and check in with Sylvia at:

TV Watch: Pretty Little Liars

2012 is off to a fantastic start, amongst other things, my favorite guilty pleasure has started it’s latest run.

The girls of Rosewood are back and here to deceive you in a whole new season of “Pretty Little Liars“.

Of course they are not the only fibbers in town, which of course has as much deceit and betrayal as the late great Aaron Spelling’s “Melrose Place”.

For the uninitiated let’s give the briefest of re-caps….

Once upon a time there was a girl name Allison, Ally for short, she was the baddest b!tch in the whole damned town! She ruled over her kingdom of friends, Spencer, Aria, Emily & Hanna (the PLL’s)

Until one day, Ally disappeared and was found dead (?) (that’s the official statement, but we “Liars” fans know A) her death is up for debate and B) you really can’t keep a good b!tch down)….and boy was Ally, the cat a major one!

The quintet of Emily, Aria, Spencer and Hanna are now relentlessly pursued by the mysterious “A” who knows all of their secrets and is controlling their every move, much like uber b!tch Allison did when she was alive….Hmmmmmmmmmmmm….

With the wheels now set in motion, the games have begun. There are way too many twists and turns to get down with in a full piece, but suffice it to say this is some of the most fun I have watching TV each week, thanks ABC Family Network!

And thanks to the “Pretty” & talented four leads Troian Bellisario (Spencer), Ashley Benson (Hanna), Lucy Hale (Aria) and Shay Mitchell (Emily). You root for these “Liars” and want them to not be kept down by the insidious forces that are trying to destroy their lives….You Go Girls!

This season finds the “Liars” doing community service in un-flattering orange jumpsuits for a crime they did not commit (thanks a lot “A”). When Spencer and Emily get into a WWW smackdown, drag out fight.

For us older fans doesn’t this sounds like another wink and nod to the Spelling tradition? If not check out the original “Charlie’s Angels” TV show and find an episode titled “Angels In Chains”.

It’s starting off to be an amazing year and I am loving the return of my beloved “Liars”!

Mel Carter "The Other Standards"

Mel Carter, the man responsible for giving the song "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me," a place in pop history, began his career in Cincinnati at the age of four when his grandmother held him up to the microphone in a penny arcade recording booth.

It was 25 cents well-spent; the unpolished performance had an unmistakable element of raw talent in those grooves.

Well he kept grooving and it’s time to celebrate the Holidays even more because the hit maker is back!

What’s Mel’s latest release you may be asking yourself? His latest release bears the title “The Other Standards” and as you Mel fans out there know, this is what Mel does best. To the new comers in the house it’s time to introduce yourself to the man with the hit making touch and golden voice.

Stand outs include “Cry Me A River” which is one of this writers favorite songs evuh!

Another stand out is…well they all stand out, it’s Mel Carter people.

2012 is near, don’t “Cry Me A River” I have my copy of “The Other Standards”….
So? What are you waiting for, get yours, and get it now..!
