Bye, Bye, Bye November

Slaying!
Zendaya
On the last day of November 2019 heading into the last month of 2019, December I'm feeling somewhat nostalgic. Thus I was thinking about all things that went down this past year and one truth that stood out is: It's Zendaya's world we just live in it.

Think about it, but not too much. She's beautiful, talented, she always slays on the red carpet,  not to mention her career is on fire 🔥

While I had heard of Zendaya it wasn't until her breakout role as Rue Bennett on HBO's Euphoria that she caught my attention. Going forward I was hooked on her/

So let's leave November on a up note with visions of Lady Z dancing in our collective heads.

Sweet dreams and just say "No" to bedbugs!!!

Just Because...Polka Dots

Dotty
Sarah Paulson
Just Because it's the weekend, Just Because I'm feeling whimsical and Just Because it's Sarah Paulson I bring you polka dots!

"Yes" polka dots are my and Sarah's gift to you the first weekend of April 2019 - Why? Why not, I ask? Polka Dots are fun in fact I had a polka dot shirt that was the same color and pattern as Sarah's dress once, except it was a shirt. My shirt/her dress/my shirt/her dress...get it?

Thus in my whimsical stupor I leave you wanting nothing more than to see the world through polka dot glasses today. I'm such a simplistic cooch.

DAVID ARCHULETA DEBUTS VIDEO FOR
“POSTCARDS IN THE SKY”

ADDS NEW DATES TO 2019 NORTH AMERICAN TOUR

David Archuleta has debuted his brand new video “Postcards In the Sky,” the title track to his most recent album release.
“I wanted to show different scenarios of people going through hard things. “Postcards in the Sky” was inspired by a story of a girl who lost her mom and little brother in a car accident. (Relatives of co-writer of the song actually).  In the funeral they released balloons with messages/memories on them, symbolizing that it’d reach wherever they may be now that they’re gone. I felt like we need to do that more often. Let out our “postcards” into the world. Our voices, our words can make a difference. We don’t know whose life it will change, but most likely it’s our own life that’s changed by it. That’s how it’s been for me.” Says David

Additionally, David is currently on his North American tour in support of the Postcards In The Sky album release.  Initial dates were revealed earlier this year with numerous cities just added to the trek.  The tour will weave through such cities as New York, Boston & Chicago before hitting Las Vegas, NV & Santa Barbara, CA in mid-April.  Tickets available here: https://davidarchuleta.com/home/live/

T.G.I.F! Retail Therapy

Shopping From A-Z
Sharon Stone
It's the last Friday of the first month of 2019, digest that minions, we are almost on the second one. If this causes you some pause then perhaps you need something to let out that anxiety, like a little Retail Therapy maybe?

Join wild and untamed thing Sharon Stone on the set of her latest flick Beverly Hills Shopper, OK, kidding about the movie part but behold Sharon in Beverly Hills, shopping. "Yes" dive into the retail pool with her. Me? I will not be joining you in this activity anytime soon, because I loathe shopping.

Well I perhaps fudged that one a little, let's say I loathe shopping retail. Now when it comes to grocery shopping that's another story all together. I enjoy buying food, I think it has something to do with control, ya know, taking charge of what you put in your body and picking out things that satisfy you, yet are healthy. Yeah, that's it. But make no mistake I have a good idea of what I want upon entering said grocery store and pretty much stick to the script. There is very little browsing or impulse buying. Yet I enjoy this activity.

Retail sucks because you have to try on certain things. It is a tedious affair, and honestly while I am stylish on an as needed basis I prefer casual wear or just plain being naked, "Yep" I'm a Basic Bitch.

T.G.I.F. indeed...

Hello 2019...

So it's January 1st 2019, feel different than when it was 2018 yesterday? Yeah, I figured not, perhaps you may be feeling hungover, but not like a "new you."

Let's cut through that noise and get real, it's simply a new year nothing has changed other than a number. Think of it as page one of three hundred and sixty five. Change, if you truly want it happens over time and by putting in the effort and wanting to evolve.

When it happens, it happens. It's not going to be brought on by some fairy tale notion that does not exist. For example my change happened in April of last year. It was the result of hard work on my inner as well as outer self, it happened when all my efforts came together and propelled me to the place I was supposed to be.

So enjoy your day off, because that's all it really is. Life should be a constant journey, the experience of it is a constant and isn't going to magically change until you put in the work and have the desire.

That being stated I wish everyone a great year, enjoy the ride and constantly motivate yourself to achieve your goals. Who knows they might happen sooner than you think.

Now if you'll excuse me I hear one of my goals calling - laundry...

It's NYE 2018!

2018
Courtney Love
It's another year under our collective belts and another one to tackle. What are your hopes and dreams for 2019

My feeling is the years all bleed together and there is not one that is more special than the other. How do I celebrate New Year's Eve? I watch TV, drink wine and give zero F#cks.

Thus for NYE I leave you with memes featuring two of my favorite female artists Courtney Love ringing out 2018 & Madonna ringing in 2019.

Process them anyway you like I don't give a F#ck!

Happy New Year

Two Of A Kind

Bravo!
Heidi Klum & Tim Gunn

When in New York do what New Yorker's do - strut. That's exactly what fashionistas Heidi Klum & Tim Gunn from Project Runway were spotted doing recently on the streets of the Big Apple

Seeing can be deceiving. What appears to be a friendly stroll, I'm willing to bet is pretty much business as usual, because production of Season 17 of Project Runway is underway.

Oh, and there's more. It's getting back to it's roots and airing on the network it was made for to begin with Bravo. "Yes" Andy Cohen is wetting himself as we engage via the WWW.

While I am sure Heidi & Tim adore each other, let's face it, outside of their famed juggernaut they have quite separate lives. Thus what could bring them together for so much quality time? Common ground.

The latest season on the catwalk is set to air in 2019, now that it's back where it should be I will have to start watching again. Yeah, I didn't get the whole Lifetime vibe, sorry, not sorry.
