Today I'm going Basic B!tch and we are going to Hump Day & Chill to what was arguably the best moment of this past Sunday's Oscar telecast. "Yes" it's Ryan Gosling proving he's Kenenough performing his rousing, audience pleasing, Rock version of I'm Just Ken from the movie Barbie!

PS I especially loved the Ken's homage to Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend by Marilyn Monroe from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.

Barbie Is Everything !!!

Alright Minions today is the official opening day of the Barbie Movie and I'm gonna be there 1:20 this afternoon Alamo Drafthouse Downtown Los Angeles.

Here's hoping they have one of those Barbie doll boxes I can get a photo of myself in. "Yes" I am riding the pink wave like many of you out there.

As the Barbie Movie train is roaring full steam ahead into it's opening weekend and I've made no secret about my desire to see it. Well guess what Minions?! It's more Hump Day & Chill Barbie Movie fun!

"Yes" I have already purchased my ticket for the 1:20 showing at Alamo Drafthouse in downtown Los Angeles. Can't wait to kick back imbibe a margarita and let the good times roll.

This image is giving me Barbie and Ken life! Barbie looks sad to be arrested whilst Ken, seems to think it is a lark of some sort.

Advanced word is the movie is a great and no one seeing it will be disappointed in the least.

Thus you are getting one last Hump Day & Chill to the Barbie Movie before it officially opens. However if I end up loving it as much as I think I will, well now..."Yes" there will be more where that came from!!!

Like many of you I can't wait for The Barbie Movie! This being stated it seems that Ken has some layers that we are going to have to Hump Day & Chill to. That's correct Minions no one had Ken as a soul man on their bingo card.

Yet here he is crooning his plastic heart out with the power ballad Just Ken. Thus we have entered the surreal universe of all that is Barbie. But let's not forget Ken, especially since hunky Ryan Gosling is the one portraying him.

Join me won't you and listen to the heartfelt stylings of Ken trying to be his own doll sans Barbie.

BTW Margot Robbie is killing it in all those Barbie fashions it's like she always in character, Kudos to the stylists behind them, truly amazing!!!

OK, I admit the ONLY reason the Barbie movie was on my radar remotely was the talent involved. "Yes" I tend to pay attention when Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Greta Gerwig & Noah Baumbach decide to combine forces.

Yet, I was still skeptical, I mean honestly what can you really do with the premise that wouldn't be ridiculous?!

Well even though I'm still not sure what they are doing with the actual film in terms of premise, after seeing the teaser trailer that dropped yesterday...sing me up, I'm there!!!

Look skating down the Venice Beach Boardwalk it's the famous Barbie and her equally famous beau Ken!

This image was captured straight outta the set for the currently filming Barbie Movie. 

Now I know simply hearing that is a cringe moment for some of you out there, I too was skeptical at first. But seeing this photo makes me intrigued to say the least.

"Yes" Minions it peaks my interest. After all it is being directed by indie darling Greta Gerwig and was co-written by her an her equally well thought of indie filmmaker partner in life Noah Baumbach, so there!!!

Thus enjoy the fun of seeing Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken skating in some astoundingly loud neon outfits on skates, naturally.
