Hump Day & Chill

Macho Dancer
Chad
OK, this week we are going to Hump Day & Chill a dude named Chad, yes like the kind when you vote...Not!

This is the kind of Chad that is a dancer, of the male variety, as if I really had to say that, right?!

Needless to say the photos are quite sexy because Chad's body is so flexible not to mention just outright hot!

Male dancers are my favorite body type when it comes to really in shape guys. They are not too bulky, not too lean and ripped just right.

So sidle up and grab a drink and whatever else you may need to Hump Day & Chill and lets feast our eyes on some Chad courtesy of Tye Briggs Favorite Hunks & Other Things shall we? Why "Yes" we shall!!!

Monday Motivation

All That Jazz
Katy Perry
This weeks Monday Motivation takes on the shape of Katy Perry showing her jazz love at what else? The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, naturally.

Katy went all out in her, dare I say awesome, unique and completely original choice of outfit. Ms. Perry is going big, as you can see, living her best life as it were.

"Yes" now you are seeing where I am going with this piece of Monday Motivation - live your best life, you only have one damn it, so just do it!

For example today I am hitting the yoga mat, as it does my body and my twisted soul good. Thus I am doing something that is making my quality of life the best it can be. Yeah, it's that simple people, do something that is good for you, buy something that makes you smile or engage in an activity that makes you feel good if you get my drift (wink, wink, nudge nudge)

Even if it means wearing something like Ms. Perry, whatever it is, if it makes you happy, it can't be that bad...can it???

Monday Motivation

Got Body?
Colin Farrell
Look it's Colin Farrell leaving a yoga class in Los Angeles. Which is exactly what I need to be doing today, but alas I can not. Grrrrrrrrrr....

"Yep" I have no time to hit the mat this Monday for the zen Motivation I need. That being stated I will try to go to that place that yoga takes me a place that everybody should dare to go. Let's let Colin tell us in his spot on quote regarding the practice of yoga -

“I love being in a class with students – 30 or 40 people all moving in unison. It’s very easy to live where you remain in your head… and you’re concerned about various things and constantly contemplating and so on and so forth, so it takes you out of your head for a while and just puts you back into your body."

It does indeed take one out of one's head. Which is a place I frankly spend way too much time

So here's to going as headless as possible today. I want to be present in my body as much as I can. C'mon people let's motivate each other and just do it!

Monday Motivation

Yoga Guy
Robert Downey Jr.
While I know today is Presidents' Day, that does not mean it is necessarily time off from the gym. Therefore some Monday Motivation is in order.

Some of you may or may not be in the loop that I do yoga once a week. It is not my favorite thing, but my body is addicted to it, and I listen to my body talk

Well I am trying to up it to twice a week and I needed something, or someone to motivate me to take it today. Hence this shot of Robert Downey Jr. in yoga action.

Honestly I am quite impressed with how flexible he is, something I am not. Which going more than once a week would improve on that situation.

Robert and myself are also the same age, 52. Also considering everything he has been through in his life and the fact that he can commit to the ancient art and do it well...that's motivation for you!

So, I am going to bend it like RDJ today and step up my yoga game.

Hey, it's Monday after all.

Spears Slays

It's Britney Bitch!
Britney Spears
While scanning MTV Video Music Awards coverage, which seems like an oxymoron at this point, online as I didn't watch them last night since I was otherwise engaged. I came a cross this amazing looking woman in the most perfect dress that werked for her image and her figure...One Ms. Britney Spears! That's right, It's Britney Bitch!

Now let me make it crystal that I am not a Britney fan, nor have I ever been. That being stated I have nothing against her either. For a woman who has gone through the ringer, who could forget Britney The Dark Ages, and back, I have to give her and her family credit for reclaiming her life and then some.

Mental illness and depression are a tough go, some people are lucky like Ms. Spears and manage to overcome them and or get it under control. Others are not as fortunate.

Cheers to you Britney you looking happy and healthy may you to continue to live long and prosper

PS Asymmetrical dresses do your body good!

Pamela Anderson, Jane Fonda & Jake Shears Are "Connected"

Stripped Down
Pamela Anderson
Bet you'd never thought you would see this combo of three names together? Frankly, neither did I, but in the good ole biz of show these days I also know anything goes.

Oh yes, let me spill exactly how these three appear in the same headline. Pamela Anderson stars in a sci-fi short by Luke Gilford, bearing the title Connected. Which also features narration by Jane Fonda and music by Jake Shears. Got it?

Here is what filmmaker/photographer Gilford has to say about it:

“’Connected’ is a portrait of a woman grappling with aging, self-perception, and transformation in a technologically optimized world,” Gilford explains on his website. “Jackie (Pamela Anderson) is … obsessed with self-improvement tapes (voiced by Jane Fonda), and she is soon drawn to an advanced yet enigmatic wellness spa that promises to enhance her mind, body, and soul.”
The short is quite effective and shows Ms. Anderson in a whole new light, as someone who is yearning for something different than what she has been pigeonholed as. Kudos Pamela you did a bang up job! Cheers to seeing more of this type of of thing from you in your future endeavors, stay Connected.
View Connected after the jump!

Thank You Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato
Normally I do not do posts based on people's Tweets, however this is an awesome message that comes from a young woman who has been there done that.

While I can not name one Demi Lovato song or tell you what else she has done other than X Factor I do know who she is and am very aware of her past struggles, isn't the media grand that way?

Demi tweeted: "Sometimes I look back and wish I would've realized I never had to drink or use to have fun.. I laugh more sober than I ever did wasted."

She recently told Seventeen magazine: "Since I went to treatment, there have been days when it's felt really easy, and I've felt great about where I am. But then I have moments when it's not. That's life. You can't just take your mind and your body into the shop and get it fixed. It doesn't come out repaired. It's not like a car. It takes time - pace yourself. Every day is a new opportunity to change your life and be who you want to be."

Thanks Demi for your courage and wisdom, I hope our paths cross one day.

Keep pace with Demi: http://demilovato.com/
