Monday Motivation

Yes He Can!
Pete Buttigieg
With the news that Pete Buttigieg has ended his campaign to be President I felt he is the perfect poster guy for Monday Motivation, think about it, but not too hard.

I didn’t believe that a gay man would be taken seriously as a presidential candidate. He was. And every time he went on TV and talked about his husband, minds were changed. He might not have been liberal enough, for some people. But his run was historic.

This says it all. While I never thought he would get the Democratic Nomination I did feel his participation was important.

Oh, and you know you have not heard the last of this powerhouse - Monday Motivation, indeed!

The IT Experience - Hollywood

As most of you know at this point, the movie IT opens September 8th. Well one of the best promotional stunts I have seen ever is the IT Experience in Hollywood. Located at the historic corner of Hollywood & Vine.

You get to go into Pennywise's house and explore all the dark depths of it. While one woman in our group of seven was completely freaked out. Me & Robert simply laughed like we were kids and enjoyed the ride.

It's a fun segue into a new realm of horror. The film I assure you is way more creepy/scary. Trust. I know a sound editor who saw clips of  it in an editing bay and told me what he saw still freaks him out to this very moment.

PS: If you choose to enter the house of Pennywise Robert says to wear sunscreen.

Enjoy the images from Robert's and My experience, if you dare....

It's A Matt Bomer Kinda Day

Sizzling Cold
Matt Bomer
After what has been quite the eventful not to mention historic weekend I thought it would be nice to take a little time out for some eye candy.

Feast your eyes on one Matt Bomer at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.

Does this guy know how not to be hot? I think not, even bundled up in his winter jacket he still looks delectable stopping for a portrait at the IMDB studio.

If only Matt was wrapped around me like a winter jacket, sigh....

Happy Man Candy Monday!

Celebrate Gay Pride!

Prop 8 Overturned!

As many people know, and for those who don't, June is officially Gay Pride month.

There are a lot of people that feel it has lost it's meaning. I am not one of them. No matter how "commercial" or "mainstream" it becomes it is always a special celebration. Imagine being a young boy in a small town and never feeling like you fit in. "Yes" I am talking about myself. Only to grow older, more worldly and to find individuals like yourself, who made you feel accepted and loved.

I will always attend the Gay Pride Parade for me it gives me a sense of community & friendship. It reminds me of my struggles and how I overcame them and that I am not the only one. Mostly it is a chance to be free and enjoy my hard earned identity as a Gay Male who deserves to be happy, healthy and content with who he is.

Above is a photo taken of me celebrating the overturning of Prop 8 - the anti gay marriage law in the state of CA. When it happened I dashed immediately to the rally in West Hollywood, CA for the historic moment on June 26, 2013.

Today I will be attending the parade in Los Angeles, with my many friends and acquaintances  I have made through the years I have lived here to celebrate...Happy Pride all. Have a Super Sunday
