Dirrty!

Make Some Noise
Christina Aguilera & Matthew Rutler
"If you ain't dirty - You ain't here to party (whoo!)" - Dirrty, Christina Aguilera

What is the Holiday Season without a little simulated oral, sex that is? Thus today I give a two days until Christmas shout out to my fellow Sagittarius and Birthday sharer - "Yes" we were both born on December 18th, Christina Aquilera!

Xtina is here via moi to put some spice into your Holiday grrrrrrrl. She like me, knows how to have some Dirrty fun during the most wonderful time of the year.

Chica knows how to get down, like yours truly. Who says Christmas needs to be pure as the driven snow?

Breakdown the walls and grow some balls that aren't blue and hanging, from a tree that is...

FYI: Ms. Aguilera will be headlining Dick Clark's New Years Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest.

In the meantime have yourself a Dirrty Little Christmas...Just do it!

Freaky Friday

Next Time Use More Red
Lady Gaga & Ryan Seacrest
"When I wake up in my makeup, It's too early for that dress. Wilted and faded somewhere in Hollywood. I'm glad I came here With your pound of flesh" - "Celebrity Skin" Hole

It's that time again. Time to let your hair down and put on some make-up and a turban - "Yes" minions it's Freaky Friday

Remember that time Lady Gaga & Ryan Seacrest donned fifty shades of WTF make-up? No, neither do I, but it happened. I have brought you proof.

Wonder if they woke up this way after hitting the town in Hollywood? The actual explanation is probably far more freaky than we could ever venture to guess...

This being stated, Gaga must have some major mojo going on to get Seacrest to join her in something this off the cuff. He is so white bread bland for the most part. This is the edgiest thing I have ever seen from him.

Given the right partner in crime I'm sure ever the stiffest of individuals will let their freak flag fly from time to time.

That Gaga is such an instigator, there should be a law against her! Not!

It's time to wave your hands in the air like you don't care  Happy Freaky Friday!

Happy F@#king 2017!

2017 Here We Come!!!
Ryan Seacrest & Jenny McCarthy
Tonight's the night we ring in the New Year, a night collectively referred to around the world as New Year's Eve

What are your plans tonight? Any traditions? Well whether my plans have been staying in or spending time with friends for it, Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve in Times Square, New York City has always been my go to show to the count down to midnight. I mean who can resist watching a ball drop slowly? Admit it you know you can't.

The only time I have never watched it was when the world rang in 2000. I was in a club with three levels that had different music themes, and yes I am going to stop there. That was the exception to this my otherwise steadfast unofficial tradition.

While things have changed over the years about the show it still remains the best way to rock in the upcoming year.

So, if I don't fall asleep before the clock strikes twelve on January 1st 2017, I plan to hang with Ryan Seacrest & Jenny McCarthy and a dropping ball with whoever else may be with me.

Let's hope 2017 errs on the side of good shall we?

Enjoy your NYE!

Warm & Fuzzy Wednesday

Storytellers
Ryan Seacrest & Michelle Obama
So here is a pic that gave me the Holiday feels, it's Michelle Obama & Ryan Seacrest stopping by The Children's National Health System in Washington DC to read stories to the kids.

To me the gift of time and presence has so much more meaning than any material thing could ever have.

It motivates me to find a vessel to give back like this to those in need. Thus I am declaring today Warm & Fuzzy Wednesday. Take some time today and think about how you can affect those around you in a positive way. Whether is be my personal favorite, smiling at everyone you encounter in public or something else that may tickle your fancy or float your boat.

Be Michelle or Ryan today and go get fuzzy with it!

Bye, Bye, Bye: American Idol

Wow it's the end of an era. Fifteen Seasons on the air and now it's over. I remember when American Idol was pretty much a social experiment and no one knew whether it would work or not. In the interest of full disclosure I stopped watching after the season Adam Lambert was on.

However it is no secret to most I am buddies with James Durbin who will be appearing on tonight's series finale, among others including the original Idol herself, Ms. Kelly Clarkson.

This factoid did not escape the most Dedicated Durbinator, Marissa Erickson who friended me on Facebook and followed me on Twitter when she saw my coverage of James.

Well she sent me some images from a live chat she participated in on Facebook during the rehearsals involving James for his performance to the final countdown to tonight's AI farewell.

She wrote this to me in a message:

"Today a live chat on face book from idol and James Durbin"

So here are images from Marissa's live chat enjoy tonight's final American Idol show!!!

Downtime With
James Durbin

Keep up with James at:

It's Selfie Saturday!

Grrrrrrrl Power Selfie!
Demi Lovato & Carrie Underwood
Since it is merely the 2nd day of 2016 and everyone is still New Year giddy I thought to myself: Hey, it's a good day to break out that old standby known as "Selfie Saturday."

This selfie is full of so much charisma, beauty and talent it's gonna turn your giddy up to euphoric proportions.

Why it's none other than Demi Lovato & Carrie Underwood! Via Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve With Ryan Seacrest. Say that three times fast!

I must say all I ever knew about Demi until recent, was she was a child star. Well she is now one of my favorite performers and singers. With songs I love and the powerhouse performances she has been giving on various shows, including Rockin' Eve proves her to be one of the best!

Carrie is a given she started out on top and has managed to stay there! Happy 2016 to two of my favorites!

What Do May Flowers Bring? Pentatonix

PENTATONIX GOES VIRAL…AGAIN
“EVOLUTION OF MUSIC” REACHES 7 MILLION YOUTUBE VIEWS
IN ITS FIRST WEEK
COVER OF IMAGINE DRAGONS’ “RADIOACTIVE”
(WITH LINDSEY STIRLING) SOARS TO 12 MILLION YOUTUBE VIEWS & DEBUTS IN ITUNES’ TOP 100
YOUTUBE CHANNEL SURPASSES 70 MILLION VIEWS WITH OVER 800 THOUSAND SUBSCRIBERS
2013 NORTH AMERICAN TOUR CONTINUES THROUGH MAY

Vocal sensations and winners of season 3 of NBC’s “The Sing-Off,” Pentatonix have had a whirlwind week with their latest YouTube video – “Evolution Of Music” – garnering nearly 7 million in the 6 days since its debut.  The video spans 1000 years of music in just 4 minutes, featuring some of the most popular songs from the last dozen centuries, and has been featured by The Huffington Post, Ryan Seacrest, Mashable and even got some radio love from New York City’s Z100.

Additionally, “Oh Holy Night,” the Christmas classic and standout track from PTX’s 2012 Christmas EP, was featured on last week’s episode of NBC’s Community.

Pentatonix also recently teamed up with dubstep violinist Lindsey Stirling on a cover of Imagine Dragons’ “Radioactive.”  The video has a combined 12 million cumulative YouTube views and the single, now available via iTunes, debuted in its top 100.
PTX & Lindsey Stirling

This follows the success of the group’s previous offerings, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ “Thrift Shop” which surpassed the six million-view mark, an *NSYNC medley and a Swedish House Mafia mash-up.  All of the arrangements are performed on the group’s current tour, which continues through May.

On top of their live performance  and YouTube release schedules, Pentatonix are also arranging and recording PTX Vol 2,  planned for an early Summer release.

After winning the most recent season of NBC’s “The Sing Off,” Pentatonix enjoyed a whirlwind of success in 2012.

They released 2 EP’s – PTX Vol 1 & PTXmas – twice debuting on Billboard’s Top 200 and selling a combined 100,000 albums and counting.  Their television appearances included The Tonight Show w/ Jay Leno, The Katie Couric Show, The Talk, The American Music Awards Red Carpet Show and VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live!  They have been regularly featured by RyanSeacrest.com and Perez Hilton.  The Philadelphia Inquirer reviewed their fall tour and said:

No strictly vocal act sounds more ecstatic in triumph than Pentatonix… Euphoric best describes the joyful, self-described “futuristic a cappella” quintet who played before a wildly enthusiastic Philly audience.

Pentatonix are taking instrument-free music far beyond anyone’s wildest expectations.  Named after the world’s most widely recognized five-note musical scale, this vocal quintet has transformed one of pop music’s purest and most soulful expressions into an exciting future, filled with limitless sonic possibility.  Pairing their intricate arrangements with cleverly re-imagined pop songs, Pentatonix have quickly cultivated a sound and style that is entirely unique and undeniably infectious.

Just a year old, the Pentatonix YouTube channel boasts over 70 million views, buoyed by more than 800,000 subscribers.  The group also has more than 290,000 Facebook fans and nearly 85,000 twitter followers.

R.I.P. Dick Clark -

"After six tours in the 60's with Dick Clark - I can truthfully say he was the finest gentleman I have ever worked with in the business" - Teen Idol, Mike Clifford

Host and TV producer Dick Clark has died. He was 82. TMZ first reported the news Wednesday afternoon. A rep told the site that Clark underwent surgery Tuesday night and suffered a heart attack following the procedure.

Clark started his career as a radio announcer at WRUN in Utica, N.Y., when he was 17.

His long-running show, "American Bandstand," was on the air from 1957-1989. "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" began in 1972 and continues to this day with Ryan Seacrest.

Clark launched the American Music Awards in 1973. He became a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee in 1993.

Clark suffered a stroke in December 2004. He continued performing even after the stroke, even though it had affected his ability to speak and walk.

Hey Dick, Keep On Rockin' !
