Today's Monday Motivation comes in the form of dreams. Without dreams life would be a tedious affair. Dreams of what you want from life, or they can just be a flat out fantasy to get you through an otherwise mundane day.

Dreams are essential to our well being. Without them we would be nothing, and vice versa. The Rocky Horror Picture Show's number "Don't Dream It, Be It" has always been a go to source of inspiration. If you seriously have to ask why then you truly do not get the RHPS. 

Push the boundaries of your life and the expectations placed upon you and others and never look back with any regrets. Anything someone else can do you can do as well as long as you believe in your power of you.

This Monday December 10, 2018 be it damn it, don't merely dream it....

Oh, and a gentle reminder, 15 more days until Christmas in case you give a F#ck. How many F#cks do I give about that? Current tally 0 - I'm to busy being it, not dreaming it...

Magenta of course! Christina Milian is the latest addition to the cast of Rocky Horror Picture Show on Fox. 

She will be proving incest is best, playing Magenta sister to Riff Raff and (this one's for you Karen Castrischer Stegall) Maid! At the castle of Dr. Frank-N-Furter.

With an already eclectic cast that includes Laverne Cox as Frank-N-Furter, Victoria Justice as Janet, Ryan McCarten as Brad, Reeve Carney as Riff Raff, Adam Lambert as Eddie and Tim Curry as the Criminologist Narrator.

This version of Rocky Horror is set to be at the very least an interesting ride, whether it fails or not to capture fans of the film and stage production, we'll find out when it airs this fall.

40 Years Of "Rocky Horror"

The Cast of The Rocky Horror Picture Show

I could not pass up running this photo from Entertainment Weekly's reunion of The Rocky Horror Picture Show cast forty years later, and still going strong. It's the movie that will never die and how appropriate considering the time of year it is.

By the time I got to see it, at age eighteen when I was able to without a parent or guardian, it was already a cult film on the midnight circuit. With people acting it out in front of the screen and using props at various points throughout it. My favorite thing was throwing the toilet paper rolls and calling out "virgin" at the obvious newbies attending. Something about yelling "virgin" at someone is quite entertaining to me.

Needless to say The Rocky Horror Picture Show shaped a lot of how I view the world around me today, meaning I have a great sense of humor!

With it recently turning the big 40 cast members Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick, Meat Loaf and Patricia Quinn reunited for a photo shoot and discussion of the cultural phenomenon.

So raise a glass propose a toast and have some Meat Loaf while you're at it...!
