Saturday Sinema: Crimson Peak

Go Goth, or Go Home...
From the imagination of Oscar-winning director Guillermo del Toro (Pan's Labyrinth, The Shape of Water) comes Crimson Peak, a lavish, stunningly realised journey into the dark heart of Gothic romance... Beginning in Buffalo, New York, during the 1880s, Crimson Peak stars Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland, Stoker) as Edith Cushing, an aspiring writer who is haunted by the death of her mother. Edith's falls in love with seductive stranger Thomas Sharpe (Tom Hiddleston, Avengers Assemble), who whisks her off to Allerdale Hall, his baronial, yet dilapidated English mansion built upon a mountain of blood-red clay. Here Edith meets Lucille (Jessica Chastain, Zero Dark Thirty), Thomas's sister who at times seems hostile and jealous. As Edith struggles to feel at home in the imposing residence, she gradually uncovers a horrendous family secret and encounters supernatural forces that will help her discover the terrible truth behind Crimson Peak. Boasting incredibly intricate and ornate production design and a rich visual style, del Toro's film is a grandiose, boldly baroque triumph of Gothic decadence, which expertly combines and contrasts the sublimely beautiful with the shockingly grotesque. Crimson Peak is presented here in sumptuous special packaging, with a wealth of extra features, affording unprecedented insight in to the making of this modern Gothic classic.

Monday Motivation

They Are Some Motivation!
l-r
Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston & Zac Efron
Since I have lost ten pounds, I have hit a plateau that the struggle is real to cross it. I have yet to lose more, and trust me I need to!

This is the week I am going to do it, I can and will. What better way for me to keep my goals in mind than posting not one, but three yummy shirtless celebrities. Hey, it's better in threes.

I would like to thank these studs for their service in motivating me this week: Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston and of course my boy Zac Efron

While I am realistic and know I will never look as cut as any of these dudes, I merely want the motivation to look my personal best. A trimmer me who can wear my fun clothes again, meaning my more fashion forward things in my closet that don't compliment a belly.

Something that is completely achievable if I stick to the script.

Happy Monday, get motivated!

Tom Hiddleston On The Side

What's Wrong With This Picture?
Take Those Boxers Off!
Tom Hiddleston
Mona Kuhn for W magazine

I don't know if it's the fact that I am hanging out naked at home during the extreme 100 degree plus weather in Los Angeles, but it seems I am fixated on posting images of celebrities showing lots of skin of late.

Yesterday, Sofia Vergara in a teeny weeny black bikini was Entertain Me's poster woman to inaugurate the first day of summer. Today it's the yummy Tom Hiddleston posing in nothing more than boxers for W Magazine, do I need to expand on why?!

Tom star of The Night Manager on AMC bares a lot more in his current film, High Rise. Sad, butt (pun intended) I can't post those photos here. That being stated like myself I know you can all Google, just put your fingers on the keyboard and blow...

Recently Mr. Hiddleston has been rumored to be dating Taylor Swift post her Calvin Harris break up. Hey Taylor, if this is true I challenge you to a duel!
