On With The Show...

Getting "Red"y
Seth Meyers

Tonight Hollywood's biggest party, the Golden Globe Awards turns 75 - that's right folks the GG's are three quarters of a century old. To celebrate this milestone they got themselves Seth Meyers to host.

Even though I believe the only nominated film I have seen this year thus far is I, Tonya most likely I will watch them as the show tends to be entertaining because of it's spontaneous moments that one does not usually see on the tightly orchestrated Oscars.

Also I love seeing the women decked out in their best and worst gowns. Daring fashion viewing is a calling of mine.

Blonde & Blonder

Who Sported It Best?
Reese Witherspoon & Gillian Anderson
In what appears to be a battle of the blondes, here is a shot of Reese Witherspoon & Gillian Anderson at AFI Awards in Los Angeles.

It appears Gillian is staking claim on Blonde Ambition while Reese is aiming for the Blonde Next Door

Maybe the pair will do a movie together. 2 Broke Blondes or perhaps 2 Blondes A Brunette & A Pizza Place

Whatever the scenario, let's face it, there is never enough blonde in the world!!!

Cheers!

Queen Margot

I admit it, I had only heard of Margot Robbie before seeing I, Tonya. "Yep" I, Tonya was the first time I had even seen Ms. Robbie in a film. She was spectacular as Tonya Harding. I suspect she will take home the Golden Globe this Sunday for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy.
What's that you say? What about her turn as Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad, you mean you didn't see that. "No" I didn't thank you very much, honestly you would have had to kidnap me, tie me up and prop my eyes open A Clockwork Orange style to get me to watch it, and I would still find a way to resist.
Robbie who appears on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter with Tonya Harding tells them she has one regret about doing that movie:
"There's just all this stuff you learn along the way, like, when you get those death threats, it's [smart] to have a security team do a background check on whoever sent them to see if there is any past history of violence because you'll need to know whether you need security to go to certain events. And every time you do a background check, it's going to cost $2,000, so take that into consideration when you're getting yourself into this."
"And it's like, 'OK, that's a different kind of career.' Because then you need to always do a job that can financially support that lifestyle; you can't just do indie films for the rest of your life because that film back there changed everything and now you have to be able to afford security, I just wish someone had explained a lot of those things to me early on. I wouldn't have resented the position I found myself in because I would've known what I was getting myself into."

See kids being a Movie Star isn't always shits & giggles. Best of luck to you Margot on Sunday, you got this!

Hump Day & Chill

Get It!
Colton Haynes
Searching the WWW this ayem for some sort of Hump Day inspiration I scrolled across this nude selfie of Colton Haynes and became immediately inspired if you get my drift.

There is something about Colton that really gets my blood pumping. Is it that handsome face? Those baby blues? Well partly, but what really grabbed me about this image is Boys got butt!

"Yes" Colton's ass is truly inspiring and gets my creative juices going and flowing. He is Hump Day & Chill perfection the first Wednesday of 2018. Next week I will have moved on to someone new, but for now, take in the beauty of Colton's booty. Say that three times fast, c'mon I dare you.

Get Into The Groove

I Am The Ringleader I Call The Shots
Britney Spears

The time has come to say "Get off your dead ass and do something" - yep I took some much needed down time during the New Year celebration now it's time to "Get Into The Groove" again.

Meaning hitting spin this AM, weighing in and crossing my fingers that I still have only gained three pounds of Holiday weight as I did treat myself to In-N-Out Burger yesterday, hey it was New Year's Day what else was I supposed to do?!

For some reason while browsing the WWW upon waking today, January 2nd of 2018 this image of Britney Spears performing in Vegas on NYE caught my fancy and is fueling me with inspiration. No, I am not really a fan of hers, but, I do like a handful of songs she has done here and there. From the looks of the stage she is performing one of my faves of hers Circus

"All the eyes on me in the center of the ring, Just like a circus
When I crack that whip, everybody goin' trip, Just like a circus"

This sums it up for me today to perfection, on with the show! Have a good one peeps!

Be Bold, Be Brave

Hello 2018
Michael Shinafelt
As I sit here on the first full day of 2018 in Los Angeles, CA I am wondering what wisdom one can impart this New Year's Day

The quote I used for today's byline: "Be Bold, Be Brave" is how I live my life everyday no matter what. It's my mantra, and passing it on to you was what I thought I could do today.

This is something everyone has in them and that they should strive for, nothing is worse than a life half lived due to fear. Take it from someone who has been there and done that. Change is possible if you want it bad enough. Life is one of those things that you get back what you put into it.

On that note I hope all of you had a happy & safe New Year's Eve and this post finds you in the most festive of moods.

What did I do? Well I can't disclose that completely but let's just say it involved a visit from my favorite witch and...

Happy 2018 Minions!

Keep up with me this, and every year at:
