Singer-songwriter and American Idol Winner David Cook has announced he will kick-off  an acoustic tour this fall in St. Louis, MO on October 25.  Tickets go on-sale Thursday, July 12. (visit davidcookofficial.com/events for tickets and info).

The tour will weave throughout the southeast and hit other major markets like Boston, Washington DC, Philadelphia and New York City. It’ll be a chance for fans to experience an up-close, intimate evening with David, as he performs songs from his brand-new EP, CHROMANCE, as well as other hits from his catalog.   The EP, which was released earlier this year, features all new material that was written over the past year and includes an ethereal mid-tempo spin on the Phil Collins classic, Another Day in Paradise.

If launching a tour and putting out a brand new EP wasn’t enough to keep Cook busy; this past April, he made his Broadway debut as Charlie Price in Kinky Boots and had the time of his life (no pun intended).  David is now set to reprise his performance in the starring role from July 17 through September 9 (tickets available at kinkybootsthemusical.com).

“I am so honored and excited to get to come back to the factory!  Kinky Boots is such a great show, made all the better by having an incredible cast, crew, and staff, and I can’t wait to help tell the story again!”

CHROMANCE  is available now through all digital retailers, including iTunesAmazon and Google Play (view the official lyric video for David’s latest single: Gimme Heartbreak).

Monday Motivation

Insecurity Vanquished
l-r
Stassie Karanikolaou & Kylie Jenner
Sometimes motivation, especially on a Monday takes on strange bedfellows. While I am not a Kardashian fan, I couldn't help but notice this image of Kylie Jenner and her BFF Stassie Karanikolaou on the WWW - why you may ask? Because Jenner finally got rid of the hideous lip filler she has been using for a spell and looks great!

Those lips made her look like something from the X-Men movie series I tell you what. Now she is back to looking like her attractive normal self.

She cops to her lips being an insecurity of hers, thus the filler. I say hats off to her for overcoming that insecurity and realizing she is better off, and more attractive without the plump.

Like I said Monday Motivation can take on many different forms and entities. Today's sermon is let go of things that no longer serve you. Your insecurities are just that - something that makes you do things that really don't work.

Thanks Kylie!

Just Because...Margot Robbie

Ballroom Blitz?
Margot Robbie
Just Because I actually slept in today, Just Because she looks amazing in a little black dress & Just Because I loved her in I, Tonya - it's a Margot Robbie kind of day!

That's correct minions you gotta love that Margot. Why? Just Because I decreed it.

While I never saw her in Suicide Squad, I'd rather attempt the first part of that movie title than watch it. I fell head over heels for Ms. Robbie when I saw her in the film I, Tonya. So much so that I felt she deserved to win the Oscar for it.

Sorry, not sorry Frances McDormand,  I love you too, but let's face it chica, you had won before and were an easy get for the waxworks who vote on the Academy.

How do I adore Margot let me count the ways...

I follow her on Instagram, I pay attention to her upcoming projects and I post amazing photos of her right her, right now when I have a chance.

Now it's time to say goodbye, etcetra and vice versa.

Have a Margot Robbie Day!

Freaky Friday

Poodles, Poodles, Poodles!
Paul Rudd
With Ant Man and the Wasp opening, well today - I thought it was perfect timing to run this most curious photo of Paul Rudd that I stumbled across on the WWW..."Yes" minions welcome to Freaky Friday.

This weeks edition of FF does not include any body switching, sorry Jodie & Lindsay. No, this looks to be something of a totally different head. Poodle painting perhaps? The Poodle of a different color? Or ???

Whatever the case, it's definitely an image that will stick in your mind all Motherf#cking Friday, and perhaps, beyond.

Does that make me diabolical because I have inserted this into your consciousness? Perhaps a little more intriguing? Yeah, I figured as much...

It's time to let your freak flag fly, it's Friday after all!!!

"Saturday in the park, I think it was the Fourth of July" - Saturday In The Park, Chicago

Was yesterday the 4th of July?! Well I wasn't in the park, or was I??? Perhaps I was picking posies or catching caterpillars. It really makes no difference how I whiled away the hours on July 4th, or perhaps it does.

Time to get this July 5th party started minions!

Just saw a byline that stated: Amber Heard Slammed - some girls have all the luck

It's time to rethink moisturizer, the more you know

I revisited the Billy Wilder classic Sunset Blvd. up on the roof July the 3rd at the Montalban Theater in the heart of Hollywood. I didn't remember it being as funny as it actually is from when I saw it in my youth.

Age = Perspective

A big yawn out to Nikki Bella & John Cena for the lamest PR stunt ever

I have a dream...of course you do darlin'

Heard on the street "I'm Leonard for no reason" - actually there is one, because it's the name your Mama gave you!

David and Victoria Beckham celebrated 19 years of marriage yesterday - Spiceballs
Katy Perry Shoots, She Scores!
"'Cause baby you're a firework, Come on show 'em what your worth" - Firework, Katy Perry

How much is that Pitbull in the window???

It's like a magic bus and can take many riders

Smell what my cauldron is brewing

Ever want to be Jackie Onassis?!

"One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight
Schlemiel! Schlimazel! Hasenpfeffer Incorporated
We're gonna do it!" - Name that quote!!!

I don't know about you, but I'm feeling quite resplendent - it's a groovy word Google it!

Current Mood: Happy Birthday America!

Why Don't You Come Up & See Me Sometime...
Stephen Colbert
While I am really not sure what to say about America's 242nd Birthday I do know that the above image of one Stephen Colbert perfectly sums up my Current Mood.

I'm not going to spill on my true thoughts and feelings about the state of our union because my Mama always said "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." Yeah, I know that has never really stopped me, but I would like today to be positive and productive

How am I celebrating? Well last night I went to a Rooftop Screening of the Billy Wilder classic Sunset Blvd. @ The Montalban Theater in Hollywood. With my friends Brittney & Naama.

We had a total blast and "yes" we could see fireworks going on in the surrounding area from the roof with a view.

Thus I leave you with a photo of the three of us, oh and don't forget to boogie in the butt, it's the fourth of July after all!
