Head

Totally Different Head
Jared Leto
Yesterday was a big day, with the birth of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's bouncing baby boy and of course a little to do called The Met Gala in NYC

Today is gonna pale in comparison, or perhaps not. Hey, it's all what you make of it.

What's giving me life today? Why Jared Leto's I'm going to venture a guess and say Game of Thrones inspired look from yesterday's Gala. Which is a bedazzled man dress, but what truly makes this an envelope pusher is Leto carrying his own severed head.

Only Jared of Leto could, and for that matter would, pull this off.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna start plotting how to overthrow Mr. Leto's status as King of Pushing Boundaries. That's correct minions, I am going to sally forth and make a bid for the throne...

Monday Motivation

Lemon + Water...
Michael Shinafelt
While Monday's are not always Fundays, we often need that extra something, something to get us going. Thus the term Monday Motivation came into being, or something along those lines. Anyway, when I am having trouble getting going on a Monday I turn to my trusty lemons and make lemon water. I bet you thought I was going to say lemonade, Ha!

Fun Fact - did you know that lemon water is not only refreshing and tasty, it also burns fat? Yep, that it does. So while you are sipping on a glass of lemon goodness, you are also getting rid of fat.

Sounds like a win/win situation, no? Yes!

Join me won't you in a glass, or two, perhaps even three of this delectable fat burning elixir

Do it, and do it now...!!!

Cinco de Mayo

Wasted Away Again in Margaritaville...
Neil Patrick Harris
"Cinco de Mayo (pronounced [ˈsiŋko ðe ˈmaʝo] in Latin America, Spanish for "Fifth of May") is an annual celebration held on May 5. The date is observed to commemorate the Mexican Army's victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla, on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza.[1][2] The victory of the smaller Mexican force against a larger French force was a boost to morale for the Mexicans. A year after the battle, a larger French force defeated Zaragoza at the Second Battle of Puebla, and Mexico City soon fell to the invaders" - Wikipedia

OK, there you have it the reason Cinco de Mayo aka The 5th of May is celebrated. This being stated it is mainly an excuse for most to go out and get wasted away in Margaritaville

Case in point, the celebratory image that is giving me Cinco life today is one Neil Patrick Harris on the beach passed out among many Margarita glasses. While it is obviously staged NPH is known for his fondness of the tequila based concoction.

Honestly I would like to join Neil in reaching the beach today, but alas can not. Yeah, not everyone has the free time to go out and get elegantly wasted.

Best known for their self-penned infectious guitar driven hits “Back Here,” “Out of My Heart“ and “The Ghost of You and Me,” BBMAK was one of the few bands from that genre to play their own instruments.  Billboard Magazine named “Back Here” the 9th Greatest Boy Band Song of All Time.

Fishy Friday

"Love to explore that shore above? Out of the sea, Wish I could be, Part of that world" Part Of Your World "The Little Mermaid"

OK, it's not exactly Fishy Friday, but The Little Mermaid Friday didn't quite have the same flow to it 😉

For no other reason than whimsy and fun I present you with this image of Julianne Moore as The Little Mermaid, with an assist from Olympic Gold Medalist Michael Phelps.

It was part of an ad campaign for, duh, Disneyland shot by famed photog Annie Leibovitz.

This is a stunningly beautiful portrait that also captures the essence of The Little Mermaid longing to be part of the world above the sea.

After all everyone longs for something they don't have my minions...so we can all relate.

What is it you desire, tell me, I promise to keep it between us, pinky swear 👀

Michael's Musings

"Beat It Creep"
Michael Shinafelt
In case you can't read my T-Shirt it states "Beat It Creep" (the hazard of taking selfies) that reflects a certain type of feeling I have of late towards specific current events. If you think Wanda from Cry-Baby when you see it you would be correct. It's part of Traci Lords clothing line for Pin-Up Girl which can be found here:
https://pinupgirlclothing.com/collections/traci-lords-for-couture-for-every-body moving on -

This week has left me wondering many things. None of them particularly relevant to to anything other than the 360 degree circle of life.

Yeah, I am extrapolating in riddles, giggles & perhaps if you rock me real nice baby, sh!ts! Don't speak, it's time to get down to the master beat. "Yes" beat it 😜

I am the straw that stirs the drink

Google Otto Titsling - you know you want to

Did I ever disclose I want to be Jackie Onassis, I want to wear a pair of dark sunglasses? If you don't know who she is, defile yourself

Pique is a turn

Not to be confused with PK from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills who Brian Moylan of The Vulture accurately described as a: Fondue made out of smegma

Speaking of smegma, how about that William Barr?!

I wanna explore your Mojave

That lady called Mommy a slut, what does it mean?

Boy George has a thing for Nikki Sixx, the more you know...

Half & Half equals death
Agnes Moorehead
as "Endora"
on the set of "Bewitched"
Sometimes we all need a little Endora to give us life

FYI I have no obsession with baby showers despite rumors to the contrary

Happiness is knowing another gay man who doesn't like Sade's music

This just in - Somebody loves you (not me I think you are a c#nt)

What the world needs now is a big motherf#cking "As If"
