“‘Hold Tight’… is one of those songs that I don’t remember hearing for the first time. I think I just always knew it,” says Delran. “The standout bits for me are that beautiful fuzzy guitar and the tambourine… Nothing brings the mayhem like a loud and sloppy tambourine. As far as the fuzzy guitar, I think that’s the sound of brain cells frying—in a good way.”

With The Doppel Gang providing a tight, driving backbone, Delran’s version feels both faithful and freshly unhinged—celebrating the chaos that made the original so enduring.
