The Blue Lagoon Christopher Atkins & Brooke Shields |
Hello April! Here's a still from the 1980 film The Blue Lagoon to celebrate.
APRIL FOOLS!!!
It's actually a mash-up of Creature From The Black Lagoon and The Blue Lagoon. "Yes" the creature has gotten lost and is hanging in the wrong lagoon, his bad.
With every being basically a lie or deception of some sort daily, be careful what you fall for today because the BS count I'm sure will tick higher than usual. If that's even remotely possible...

Heeeere's Frank! Jake Gyllenhaal & Friend |
I don't know about you Minions but my Current Mood is: "Apprehensive" with a side of don't worry be happy.
Much like Donnie Darko (Jake Gyllenhaal) and his ax with Frank The Rabbit looming in the background.
What's that? You get the apprehensive part, where does the side of happy enter into the equation? The ax is the happy part, it will help you overcome and defeat any obstacle in your way.
Of course I am not saying one should carry an ax literally. It's a metaphor.
Happy Metaphor Monday Minions!

Leslie Bibb & Carrie Coon |
I couldn't agree with you more Laurie...
Well I don't know about you Minions but I can't wait until 6pm Pacific Standard Time to come around to see what happens next on The White Lotus!
There are only two episodes left and all bets are off on exactly how it will all end up.
Everyone has their theories about what might happen and all of them are valid until we actually find out.
Here are two of mine:
1) Sritala (Patravadi Mejudhon) is Rick's (Walton Goggin's) "deceased" Father
2) Greg/Gary (John Gries) plans for Belinda (Natasha Rothwell) are not to murder her, but fund her spa
There you have it! I could be wrong, or...as for everyone else I have no hunch what will possibly go down with them.
Enjoy the show!!!

Pip Lewis is a British singer-songwriter based in San Diego, California. At 22, she brings over a decade of musical experience to her craft. Her forthcoming album, Growing Pains, weaves introspective lyrics with ethereal soundscapes, capturing the raw emotions of change and self-discovery. Her latest single, "Baby Teeth," now streaming alongside a new music video, explores the bittersweet nature of loss and the struggle between holding on and letting go.
Pip says, “The imagery in 'Baby Teeth' is all about things that are once important but become neglected over time: a sweet melting and hardening in a car door, a dog-eared book never finished, a takeaway receipt kept for no real reason."
She adds, "The chorus, with the tooth metaphor, is especially striking. Losing a baby tooth is inevitable, a sign of growing up, but there’s also a choice in how it happens—rip it out quickly or let it fall out slowly. It plays with the idea that the narrator knows that they’re being left behind but is unsure if they should just end it or let the loss drag on. It explores the question as to whether it is more uncomfortable to let go willingly or to suffer until the bitter end?”
