15 Years Of "Pretty"

I've been seeing posts from the cast members of Pretty Little Liars on Instagram of late celebrating 15 years of the show.

Wow! Really?! "Yes" indeed!!! PLL premiered on June 8th 2010. While I missed the exact date that still doesn't mean we can't celebrate this milestone now., right??? It's still 15 years old and counting...

I remember watching the show out of curiousity because it had so much buzz. I was hooked immediately! I actually still watch the reruns on MAX to this day (busted!)

Being that it is Pride Month I'd thought we'd honor the show with the coupling of Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse) and Emily Fields (Shay Mitchell) 

The fans went wild when Emison happened, I know this fan did.

Guess what today is Minions??? It's Celebrate Bisexuality Day! I know a handful of bisexual beings and I would have to say if there is one quality that I wished I had, being fluid would be one of them.

Thus with admiration and respect I am commemorating this day. 

Since I am a big Pretty Little Liars fan and am currently binging the series for a second go, I thought I would pick Tyler Blackburn (Caleb Rivers) as the poster guy for today. 

Here's what he had to say about the subject in a 2019 interview with The Advocate:

"I'm queer. I've identified as bisexual since [I was] a teenager," he said. "I just want to feel powerful in my own skin, and my own mind, and in my own heart."

Perfectly stated Mr. Blackburn, that's all anyone wants for themselves.

Today's Hump Day & Chill moment is brought to you by the Supreme Court because of it's ruling to protect LGBTQ Civil Rights and my pick as mascot for it, Pretty Little Liars Lucy Hale as the Pride Unicorn.

While I don't quite understand why someone not getting fired for their sexual orientation was even up for debate or needed a Supreme Court ruling, I am glad the end result was on the right side of  History.

This was a bright spot in what has otherwise been a, needless to say, challenging year. Combine this with the Pride Unicorn and we have a Hump Day & Chill Pride Celebration going on!

So kick it today with your favorite Adult Beverage and celebrate the LGBTQ Supreme Court victory. Isn't it awesome that it happened during Pride Month?

"Liars" For Charity

Got a secret, can you keep it? No, not really especially when it's about a Pretty Little Liars reunion! For those of you out of the loop I am huge PLL fan and they are reuniting this Friday for charity.

All proceeds from the to do will go to Feeding America and is spearheaded by Cast4Good, a creative new fundraising platform that was developed in response to the ongoing global health crisis to raise vital funds for charitable organizations and their relief efforts, the virtual event will feature a live panel and a fan Q&A, followed by one-on-one video chats with the actors and King.

Sounds like a blast! Now to decide who I would like to one on one with, so many "Liars" so little time...

How's your quarantine going? Are you keeping your social distance y'all? Well something truly wonderful has happened despite how gnarly this is...the air quality in Los Angeles has been clean for weeks now.

In fact it's so great outdoors these days I take really long walks, I'm kind of at loathe to go back indoors. Bare witness to Pretty Little Liars Lucy Hale, that smile on her face after exiting the grocery store isn't for naught. She, like me is vibing on the good clean air. I'm telling you it's real and it's spectacular.

In fact as soon as I exit the lap top I'm gonna go out and snort me some.

Last night like all good horror fans should, I watched the premiere of American Horror Story: 1984. It's off to a great start, every 80's slasher film cliche is intact and used. I especially like the references to other slasher epics in it...i.e. hitting a man in the middle of the road on the way to the summer camp (I Know What You Did Last Summer) The mental patients all escaped and roaming the grounds of the asylum (Halloween) or the pretty much exact replica of Camp Crystal Lake from Friday the 13th now christened Camp Redwood.

Hopefully the premiere continues to deliver on it's promise...

When news broke that Pretty Little Liars Ashley Benson & Model/Actress Cara Delevingne were a couple it was one of those "Wow" came out of nowhere moments that was actually one of the coolest surprises ever. They were the couple you never knew you needed, but did.

Cut to post the press letting the cat out of the bag, they hadn't been seen in the the public together for quite some time. I thought did the press outing them as a couple halt the sexy twosome before they even had a chance to get started?!

Fear not Ashley & Cara fans, finally  the two were spotted by the press this past Friday at London's Gatwick Airport. "Yay" these two are still very much together. Wanna know why? They stay out of the public eye for the most part and another thing that is quite obvious to myself is they both are autonomous, having their own very separate lives. 

Kudos these two seem like they are going to last. Even if they don't this is how you relationship peeps!

Lucy is dressed as the Twitter Logo which scored with me as it is one of the more original ideas I have seen for a Halloween costume. Not to mention how cute she looks in the get up.

Once in a while something catches this jaded guy by complete surprise. Sometimes that surprise is not too great, others are whatever and in the case of this one it's spectacular!

While I am not one to gossip, I have to say the news that Pretty Little Liars Ashley Benson and model Cara Delevingne are dating was something I never saw coming. Ashley has always remained low key about her personal life and never did I ever have any clue she was into women. Delevingne likewise on the personal life front, however I know less about her as by now you all know what a huge fan of Pretty Little Liars I am.

Honestly this is a couple I never knew I needed to happen until they did. I love them together!

They outed themselves as s duo when they were spotted packing on the PDA in a London airport. Awwwwwwww...young love, I remember that, sort of.

Ashley I have one request. I follow you on Instagram (duh) please post many pics of you and Cara, pretty please, with sugar on top.

As all you fans recall they played the hopelessly romantic couple Aria Montgomery & Ezra Fitz, or the couple formerly know as Ezria.

While I miss the show that wrapped after it's seventh season nine months ago. It was time for it to end.

But fear not PLL fans a spin-off The Perfectionists with "Liars" Sasha Pieterse & Janel Parrish is in the works! Yay!

Look what I spy with my detached eye. Why it's Pretty Little Liars alumni and BFF's Ashley Benson & Shay Mitchell attending Universal Studios Hollywood, Halloween Horror Nights. Put that in your cauldron and boil it!

Yes, these two attended the place known for it's horror movies and now it's horror nights, Universal Studios in Hollywood. 

Did they get scared, scream or merely get their entertainment on? There is no word as to what went down with the fearless twosome -whatever happened it is nice to see them hang out post the end game of PLL, nostalgia is in after all.

No better way to kick off Monday October 9th if I say so, and I just did.
