Current Mood

What She Says
Cara Delevingne

Cara Delevingne's T-Shirt sums up my Current Mood this post Superbowl Monday. There were many out there who thought Rihanna's Half Time Show lacked, I am not one of those.

While there were no WOW moments the show was cohesive and flowed seamlessly from beginning to end and was clearly designed around the fact that Rihanna is pregnant.

Rihanna's presence was on point, her delivery of her hits was flawless and most important her DGAF attitude (Google it if you don't know) was off the hook! Honestly the latter played an important part in the touchdown she scored!

I especially like the end game of her singing Diamonds while looking down over the stadium full of spectators.

The only girl in the world, indeed...

Happy Pride Month!

Express Yourself
Cara Delevigne

It's June the first Minions, and as per usual the month of June is Pride Month. I thought we should kick off the month with a roar. That noise belonging to one Ms. Cara Delevigne

Cara recently gave an interview to one of my favorite magazines, Paper and they asked the question of her "Starting off, what does Pride mean to you?"

Her answer was so great that I thought it was to perfect way to christen Pride Month right here, right now. "Yes" here it is...

"I think Pride, for me, is accepting wherever I am that day. As in, I am proud to be wherever I feel in that moment. Growing up, I didn't feel a lot of pride at all – I was quite scared. I was fearful. I was in hiding. I think many people in the community know what it's like to have to hide part of yourself. So to be proud is to really be able to feel free to shout from the rooftop, 'This is who I am, take it or leave it. I love myself.' And there is nothing anyone can do about it. I think that's truly inspirational and truly something I wish I had as a teenager, but how inspired I am by people and teenagers and young people who can do that"

Preach!
