It's Superbowl Sunday Minions!

My Hips Are Better Than Your Hips
Jennifer Lopez & Shakira
For those of you who are observant it's the High Holy Day of Football - Superbowl Sunday...Yay!

This year the San Francisco 49ers & the Kansas City Chiefs challenge each other to a duel on the astroturf. Don your helmets Gladiators

Me? I have to actually have a vested interest in one of  the teams playing to care about the outcome. Like the years my home state team the Seattle Seahawks were in it to win it.

There is of course always the half time show extravaganza, which this year features Jennifer Lopez whose career couldn't be any hotter at present. It also features Shakira, to me, inexplicably.

So who I am rooting for at today's Superbowl? Team Jennifer Lopez for the win!

Go Gaga!

Ready To Slay
Lady Gaga
Unless you have been living under a rock everyone knows that today is the Lady Gaga concert with a football game thrown in for good measure.

All kidding aside it's Superbowl Sunday and Lady Gaga is performing the coveted half time show.

Honestly I don't hate football but it is something I can manage without. However I will be tuning in to the half time show which is sure to be amazing! Rumor has it they coughed up 10 million reasons for today's Lady Gaga extravaganza, that's a whole lotta reasons to tune in minions.

The above image was taken in preparation for the blessed event. Gaga has been teasing the public with several photos and videos this week while still managing to keep the songs she is performing under wraps. She's a slick one.

So we are all in for a really big surprise today of epic proportions.

Happy Lady Gaga concert day, and if you are inclined to watch the football game have a groovy Superbowl Sunday

Katy Perry "Go Seahawks!"

Katy Perry: You're Going to Hear Me "Roar" For Sure!

It's Superbowl 2015 Everyone! The Seattle Seahawks will battle the New England Patriots for the championship. The only sure thing about today's game is that Katy Perry will be performing the half time show and Idina Menzel will be singing the national anthem.

Also both Katy and Idina are rooting for my favorite and hometown team to win the Seattle Seahawks, Go Hawks! Yay!

Katy's reason for cheering on the Seahawks? "I love the Seahawks because of Russell Wilson so I think I'm going to go for them."

While were at it here are a few other sure things about what will happen during Katy Perry's half time show that she teased viewers with:

Addressing Lenny Kravitz's guest appearance: "We've worked up something incredibly soulful. Of course, he brings the soul and it's just going to make the night even sexier."
Katy will use land and water animals: "I'm probably going to be the only person in Super Bowl halftime history that will ever bring a lion and sharks to the show. It's going to be wild out there."
Katy confirmed she will perform "Roar" and "Firework" and many more songs: "I can tell I will be playing those anthemic numbers. ... I have a lot of songs to cover on Sunday so there will definitely be some medley of sorts."

      Happy Viewing!

Paging Katy Perry For Superbowl 2015

Who's That Girl? Katy Perry That's Who
While checking out E! News this morning the headline that stood out to me the most was the Katy Perry would be performing the iconic half time show for 2015's Superbowl.

Now I am not saying Katy Perry sucks, I have liked a few songs she has done, Firework for one comes to mind. But she, at least to me, does not really have the cache of a Beyonce' or a Madonna. Her career is pretty feather weight by comparison.

Oh well, not my company not my choice of who to use. While I am sure her performance will be entertaining I'm just not sure it will reach the potential high that viewers expect from this yearly extravaganza.

Tune in and find out when Superbowl 2015 airs!
