Today's Monday Motivation is rather simple and non-complicated. "Yes" it's Texas Hold Em by Beyonce!
No real life lesson nor something to contemplate. This is simply straight forward fun!!! Hey when's the las time anyone gave you something fun on a Monday?! I thought not!
For what it's worth it's also my favorite song my spin instructor uses. I get pumped when it comes on and move my booty post haste fer sure.
So there you go Minions. Bend it like Beyonce and "Hold Em" ya know, "Hold Em"...
That time I had a fantasy about being a member of the Village People. Want me to ride you like a cowboy? After all isn't the Wild, Wild, West the state of the union???
Buckle up it's going to be a humpy ride!
When your special guy says he has Beyonce's booty, what do you do???.
I do what my Bluetooth tells me
This is my life, this is my jam
Had a delightful time with Quinn Robinson @ Akbar last night. What happens there, is like a unicorn

A Haiku - I'll leave you empty/Spent, and aching. All your glorious evidence/Held safely behind/The vault of my lips/And aren't you happy
Suddenly I have an uncontrollable urge to - "Yes" it's time to play Name That Urge

On that provocative note, you know where to find me at:
A little bird called the WWW chirped in my ear and told me that one Beyonce' Knowles made her-story aka history performing at Coachella last night. "Yes" Virginia and all you other kids out there, Queen B was the first Black Woman to ever headline the desert music festival. Now aren't you happy?!
It was destiny, as in Destiny's Child. That's correct minions Beyonce' was joined on stage by Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland and they said each other's names.
Wow, what could possibly top that? Glad you asked. Solange took the stage along with Jay-Z and she beat the F#ck out of him again much to the crowd's delight.
OK, I am kidding about that, but they really did join their respective sister and wife to perform.
This past week has been a "Stormy" one - get it? wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Pretty much every week is of late. Seriously with Easter falling on April Fools Day this weekend I feel so conflicted. Do I hunt for eggs or pull a rabbit out of my butt? It's time to make a decision, and whatever you do make it yours! What he said - "The Stormy Daniels story isn't about Trump having an affair with a porn star. That's not news. It is about his campaign trying to threaten, intimidate and illegally use campaign funds to buy her silence just weeks before the election. Don't let the lurid details overshadow this." - George Takei I licked it, so it's mine Started doing an abs class on top of spinning, yoga & boxing - what a feeling! How much wood can Wesley Woods chuck? #fashioncompassion "Dear @StormyDaniels, I can only imagine how stressful things must be for you right now. Fashion shouldn’t be one of them. Let me know if you need a sleek ensemble. @teampinup@Laura_Byrnes" - Traci Lords Hey Shakira, you don't have a monopoly on hips that don't lie Sometimes I wonder...what? You thought I was going to tell you what that was??? Just saw that someone bit Beyonce, all I want to know is, how did she taste?

"Summertime, and the livin' is easy" - Ella Fitzgerald In case you didn't register, Summer officially began yesterday. Yes minions it's on! Which of course made me think of the song Summertime, sung by Ella Fitzgerald. However my first exposure to it was the cover by Janis Joplin. For the longest time I thought Joplin to be the originator of the seasonal song, obviously I thought wrong. Que sera sera - Move Over and Let's Get This Party Started! While I was a little taken back by Goldie Hawn's appearance on the Golden Globe's this past weekend, and to clarify by "appearance" I don't mean the fact that she was on the show. I know why she was on with one Ms. Amy Schumer, they have a movie coming out May 12th called Snatched and I can't wait! Both women are brilliant on screen comedians and even if the movie falls short of their talents I am willing to bet their chemistry and considerable skills will make it worth the watch. This is one of those rare dream teams that hit the silver screen that compels you to buy a ticket just to see them werk! As you may or may not recall the two first teamed up for a brilliant parody of Beyonce's song Formation. Check out the funny as fuck trailer below and watch your ass!

Cazwell has shot some hot ass on an iPhone for his tamale of a new song Spicy, like, duh. Today the video for the song drops here is all the what there is and what you should know about this endeavor. Happy December 1st the countdown to Christmas begins!
Shot entirely on an iPhone 6, Cazwell’s music video for "¡Spicy!", the latest track from his Hard 2 B Fresh album, is fun and psychedelic with lots of bright colors and playful visuals. It mixes Mexican and Catholic imagery into a gay version of outer space filled with porn stars and rainbow burritos with transsexual icon Amanda Lepore sitting on the moon. “Its not your typical music video about a cute Latin boy,” the artist concedes. But not much about Cazwell is typical. Where most gay men with a predilection for hombres focus on the size of the Latino penis, Cazwell’s interests lean to the rear. “I definitely have an ass fetish”, he admits, adding, “I think it’s time Hip Hop paid homage to the guys’ culo.” Cazwell’s "¡Spicy! " is available on iTunes now.
“I was seeing a guy that was very spicy,” continues Cazwell, discussing the inspiration for the song. “He was passionate with a capital P: extremely loving and affectionate and great in bed. But passion has its negative side too. He was very jealous and quick to snap.” Cazwell explains his songs’ intentions further, “Being ‘spicy’ certainly is not limited to just one race or ethnicity. A lot of it just has to do with your own personal swag, how you carry yourself and how you communicate with your bae."
After writing the lyrics for the song with frequent collaborator Big Dipper, Cazwell worked with Denver-based producer Craig C. on the beat and called in his favorite side chick, Cherie Lily to lace the hook. They wanted Pitbull meets MIA with heavy Latin inspired percussion and horns. “I needed this to be the song on my album that spiced shit up,” Cazwell says. He also wanted to do something a little different and experimental with the song’s music video. He brought in 19-year-old Bob Bottle, a video director he worked with previously on the music video for “Downtown”.
"Spicy!"
"A lot of the times when I do a video, I’ll shoot in a day and then hand off the footage to the director to edit. I wanted Bob on this video because we’re friends. We communicate daily. I wanted the video to be a true collaboration.”
Bottle and Cazwell share an interest in images, animations, designs, and videos that live in their own universe of highly saturated color, homoerotic imagery, and sparkling galaxy textures. These images were the main inspiration for the “Spicy” music video.
"When I was planning out this video with Bob, we wrote down a list of the things that had been inspiring us artistically lately. A lot of it came from Mexican culture, Christianity and the show, Ancient Aliens. We decided to try to find a way to combine all three and make it work for the video. It was very organic."
Billboard charting Singer/Songwriter Aiden Leslie took some time to slow down recently and chat with Entertain Me about his latest single I Just Go.
As you can well imagine other things came up during the conversation as well, but you are going to have to keep calm and read on to find out what those might be...so let's do it Aiden!
AL: When was the last time we spoke? We have done an interview before.
MS: Yes, it was for "Worlds Away" (laughs) that's why I thought it would be fun to do it again!
AL: That is so crazy! That was like, five years ago! It feels like it was just yesterday, but it's been five years, that's crazy!
MS: It's longer than I thought it was.
AL: It's half a decade! (both laugh)
MS: Pride season just passed, did you perform a lot during it?
Photo: Rick Day
AL: Yeah, I got to get around (laughs) Getting out there is always good. I just put "I Just Go" out. I feel really proud of the whole release of that single. Everyone on my team did a really good job of getting it out there. Artistically I am very proud of the work we did. That's always an important thing to do and to feel, especially in today's music climate. If you are proud of it and happy with it that's what really matters.
MS: That's how I feel about it too.
AL: We live in this fifteen second world. Where you have to get your message out in a very quick time frame, via Instagram or anything like that. People don't have the attention spans that they once had, because of the world we live in everything is so quick. So you see people putting out an album and not everybody really catches it because it is too much for people to take in, you know what I mean?
MS: Yes, when I was a kid I was an avid reader, now it's a lot for me to read a book. My attention span has diminished with the times.
AL: Right. There are pluses and minuses to the world we live in. There are so many benefits to technology, but on the flip side, do we really stop and savor much anymore? Like Madonna she puts out twenty-five tracks on an album because she has to get so much material out there in a short amount of time. Normally people would only do, like, twelve to thirteen tracks.
MS: My favorite track off of "Rebel Heart" is "Ghosttown."
AL: Oh My God! This is the funny thing. Reports on the tour which just kicked off is that she's not even performing it right now. It's pretty insane it got the most attention and it's the best song on the album! It's so well written, it's more like her old stuff. It's something Miley or Beyonce' would sing. It's really contemporary, I love that song!
MS: Speaking of contemporary, "I Just Go" really is. The video has gotten some great comments on YouTube.
AL: Yes, yeah...when we really sat down to think about how we were going to do it, there were a lot of different concepts. I really wanted to do something very cinematic and emotional with the video. The waves and running through the waves was this whole thing for me. It was like fighting both worlds trying to break out of one and go to the other. "I Just Go" is such a personal song. It's about doing the one thing over and over again and expecting a different result. That is the definition of insanity! (laughs) It's a universal theme of repeating and repeating something that is going to change, but it does not often change. It was written at a really dark time in my life when I was really hanging out with the wrong crowd and doing a lot of not good things, very unhealthy things. It caught up to me and I couldn't get out of it, it was like a hamster wheel. I was always trying to find my way in circumstances that weren't going to happen for me. It was about picking the wrong guys and picking the wrong situation. I think that is something we can all identify with.
MS: Definitely.
AL: We all go through that. The goal is to try and make the right choices. One of the lyrics in the song is "running down this path searching with my eyes closed searching for the truth." Running down a path, but you've got your eyes closed and refuse to see what is in front of you. You don't want to see it, it's always the struggle of trying to do the right thing. Like the the lyric says "I could care, but I just go." You keep doing the same thing over and over again until you finally learn, like Maya Angelou said: "Lessons are repeated, until they are learned." - when you know better you'll do better.
MS: By the way, I meant to say this earlier, I think the reason it doesn't seem like five years since we have spoke is because we have communicated through Facebook and Twitter.
AL: Yes! That's why! (both laugh) You see each other on Facebook and say "Hi" you don't even realize it. That's what I was talking about earlier it's a crazy world we live in. We're all connected, but then again we're not connected.
MS: It can be a little odd.
AL: Let's not make it so long since we actually speak next time!

Opening with AC/DC pleased this Rock N Roll dudes heart, yes, it truly is a Highway To Hell people! While I was a huge Madonna fan once that was so Confessions On A Dance Floor ago. Madonna so sucked last night it was like a vacuum on it's last legs - I am over gay men who are drooling over her performance. (hey being one I have a lot of them on my Facebook page, so this is first hand experience.)
Annie Lennox was IT last night, she had the last werd!
Have loved her since the Eurythmics and all of her solo work is bomb!
Although Hozier is very talented I was annoyed and over hearing his song Take Me To Church. My spin instructor has been playing it every class for the last 3 months, I go Saturday and Sunday, do that math!
Note to Kanye West, quit always defending Beyonce you jackhole. She was tre' boring last night. If people weren't already asleep by the end of the show, they sure would have dozed off then.
Taylor Swift, quit getting down, white girl you have no rhythm and it's uncomfortable when the camera cuts to you and you pretend to.
Katy Perry is a lovely and gracious loser.
Congratulations Sam Smith, the appeal is lost on me.
Love Beck, but I did not even know he had an album out last year.
Jessi J. & Tom Jones, that was cool. Not a show stealing performance like Annie Lennox, but fifty shades of cool none the less. Pentatonix so glad you won, you deserved it for your Daft Punk medley.
Yeah, I'm done, I said it was a quick take, capice? Until next year!
While checking out E! News this morning the headline that stood out to me the most was the Katy Perry would be performing the iconic half time show for 2015's Superbowl.
Now I am not saying Katy Perry sucks, I have liked a few songs she has done, Firework for one comes to mind. But she, at least to me, does not really have the cache of a Beyonce' or a Madonna. Her career is pretty feather weight by comparison.
Oh well, not my company not my choice of who to use. While I am sure her performance will be entertaining I'm just not sure it will reach the potential high that viewers expect from this yearly extravaganza.
I caught the PTX gang at an exclusive intimate show at The Roxy in Los Angeles, CA last night where they closed with their rendition of "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" off of their just dropped Christmas CD.
They mixed the song up with an old fashioned revival style gospel arrangement that is da bomb!
Even though Halloween hasn't happened yet, treat yourself to an early present and get ready for the PTXmas holiday!
