Just Because...Tom Hardy & Michelle Williams

Us, The Duo
Tom Hardy & Michelle Williams
Just Because I really like her as an actress, Just Because he's hotter than Georgia asphalt and Just Because they have a movie, Venom arriving this Friday - Here are Tom Hardy & Michelle Williams pimping said film in Beverly Hills this past Thursday.

While I have no intention of seeing Venom, I like this photo op with the two leads. Not to mention I have a "thing" for Tom Hardy. That's correct peeps, even though I have lost 50 lbs, my ideal weight would be Tom on top of me!

TMI? Well I'm a giver, and we like to share...

So here's the thing that befuddles me, who the F#ck is Venom anyway and are there really minions clamoring for an epic about him?

I suppose there must be, right? Why else would a studio, in this case, Sony fork over millions for such an endeavor?

Venom opens Friday, so does A Star Is Born - I'll be seeing the latter.

Mic Drop!

Zac Attack!

Packing Large
Zac Efron
Having been sick this past week and finally seeing the end of it draw nigh this past Friday, I haven't really been shall we say, randy, of late. Well this morning upon waking I had a Zac Attack! "Yes" that is correct, I realized that it has been a spell since I had posted a pic my Boy Zac Efron!

Look it's Boy Zac packing large (I would expect nothing less from my one of my boys) at Heathrow Airport in London. Pack, Zac, Pack!

As many of are aware by now Zac is starring in the musical base on the life of PT Barnum called The Greatest Showman alongside Daddy Hugh Jackman. It is set to drop on December 20th

Well, even though I am not a huge musical fan, Zac will most likely coax my booty into a movie theater seat with this one. Hey the Boy magic worked and got me to a theater, oh alright is was a free screening on the Sony lot, of Baywatch, Yeah, yeah, yeah I know...Hey, it was mindless and fun and, ooooops, sorry I had a shirtless Boy Zac moment.

It's Monday, and aren't you happy?!

You Will Know Her Name: "Carrie" 2013

Chloe Grace Moretz & Julianne Moore "Carrie"

"I was told I was too pretty for "Carrie" - Chloe Grace Moretz

That being stated, while some may still think that Ms. Moretz has made a career out of playing outsiders, much like her attractive Academy Award Nominated co-star Julianne Moore, so let's shove that shit theory out the window.

After all Chloe has portrayed a prepubescent expletive spewing assassin named Hit Girl in "Kick Ass" uttering such zingers as "Fuck you, c#nt" and a 12 year old vampire with a thing for a 12 year old boy in the American re-make of "Let The Right One In".

So get over the "pretty" thing and get past it, now.

When I initially heard about this project, I had some hope, I mean hey two of my favorite actresses in the leads and Directed by Kimberly Pierce of  "Boys Don't Cry" fame...I was excited! "Carrie" after all is a female story and with a strong female Director would give a quite provocative and Feminine twist on it. Translation, no gratuitous lawn scenes below the female waist, and teenagers who are not 25-30 years old.

And let's not forget bullying with updated technology.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Brian DePalma film, it's a classic for sure, but...

Margaret & Carrie White, Hitting the PR Trail
There is always something new and unique that can be done with everything in the correct hands.

With the release of the present full length trailer, I am way more cautious about the prospects of this adding anything that is truly new or necessary.

My problem? With the exception of a few twists, the scenes they show in the trailer look like an almost shot for shot remake of the original.

Please don't disappoint me and millions of other fans of the horror genre and the original. Don't let this turn out to be a piece of dreck redo like pretty much all the others.

Proceeding with caution at this point, so much so, it will have to get really good reviews to compel me to pay at the box office, if the reviews are unfavorable, I will wait for video, perhaps.

Check out the trailer and see what you think...

PS - MGM and Sony have definitely come up with a great marketing campaign, kudos.
