And now presenting the Kit Kat Boys:
RuPaul Drag Race’s first double crown All-Star winner Trinity The Tuck has announced not one, but two new treats to fill your shimmering stockings this upcoming holiday season. Her first-ever Christmas album Trinity Ruins Christmas: The Musical produced by Drew Lewis & co-written by Trinity & Drew features a sleigh full of St Nick’s most talented drag superstars – Alaska Thunderfuck 5000, JIMBO, Manila Luzon, Aria B Cassadine, Ginger Minj and Kylie Sonique Love while the accompanying hardcover book Trinity Ruins Christmas: The Chronicles Of Sister Mary Kuntz will feature original illustrations and story co-written by Trinity and Jason Michael Snow @jmspinafore.
Trinity Ruins Christmas: The Chronicles Of Sister Mary Kuntz is based on “A Christmas Carol” told through the drag lens of Trinity The Tuck, featuring characters (Luci (the Devil), Sister Mary Kuntz and more) that she popularized on Drag Race. “I’ve always loved illustrated stories, and I’ve wanted to create one for a long time, this is a major twist on the holiday classic, “A Christmas Carol”. There are definitely similarities with Trinity & Scrooge, but this drag story has many twists and turns.” states Trinity
Both the album and book (and other delights) will be available November 17 on all digital platforms HERE and through Trinity’s merch store HERE. Only 200 copies of the book will be available so be sure to snatch yours up as quickly as possible.

Ask anyone who knows me, musicals are not my thing overall. "Yes" of course there are some I like here and there, but I do not have a blind love of them.
File Cabaret under one that I L-O-V-E! Oh, and I know why too. This groundbreaking musical doesn't have the usual sugar coated narrative of the genre. It's quite adult in subject matter and style.
What's that you say? I have whetted your curiosity and you want more?
Then more you shall have by clicking on the link below and reading my buddy Jay's expert piece about the film on his classic movie blog.
If that doesn't compel you to see Cabaret I don't know what will.
T.G.I.F! Life is a cabaret, old chum, come to the cabaret...

Less than a week after 15.6 million viewers watched “Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors,” NBC is giving families another chance to watch the TV movie with an encore special presentation Christmas Day at 9/8c. "I hoped to bring some families together so they could sit and watch a move like this. I really wanted to celebrate the people, my whole family, who made me who and what I am today. I'm so blessed and thankful for everyone who watched and I hope this story reaches many, many more when NBC shows it Christmas night," said Parton. “Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors” ranks as the most-watched film on the four broadcast networks in more than six years with 13 million viewers during the initial Dec. 10 broadcast, and Nielsen live +3 nudging the total up by 2.5 million to an overall 15.6 million, plus a 27% hike that nudged the 18-49 demo from a 1.8 to 2.3. L+3 ratings measure live viewing plus DVR viewing up to three days later. The film is set in the Tennessee Great Smoky Mountains in 1955. It is neither a biopic nor musical about Parton’s whole life and performing career, but rather a family-oriented faith-based story about the incidents in her and her family’s life around the time she was 9 years old. “Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors” is the first in a planned series of TV movies inspired by the country music icon’s songs. The TV movie is available to watch now on NBC.com, NBC apps and Set-Top Box On Demand. # # # WATCH NOW: www.nbc.com/coat-of-many-colors/video/dolly-partons-coat-of-many-colors/2948111 RECOMMENDED TWEET: .@nbc to re-air @DollyParton's #CoatofManyColors Dec. 25 9/8c after incredible ratings success - LINK
