David Archuleta is ready to spread good cheer this holiday season with the release of the deluxe edition of his Christmas album Winter In The Air.

Additionally, the video for “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays” premiered today on Entertainment Tonight  https://et.tv/355ZsyF and features cameo appearances by NSYNC members Lance Bass & Chris Kirkpatrick.  “I was so stoked that Lance and Chris were willing to make an appearance in my video of their song that’s becoming a classic Christmas song. I wasn’t sure if they’d say yes, but I’m so glad that they were up for it and having some fun. It’s meant to be cheesy and light, and I hope people will get a kick watching it.”  says David.

As previously announced, David will hit the road beginning November 23 on his 2019 Christmas tour which is sure to feature songs from Winter In The Air.  The album features such hits as “Christmas Every Day” - "Christmas Every Day"  (which went Top 10 on the Billboard Holiday chart) as well as title track “Winter In The Air” - Winter in the Air with the video featuring World of Dance dancer Cassidy Forsyth and So You Think You Can Dance & World of Dance dancer Ezra Sosa.  “I’m so excited to get back out on the road for my Christmas tour. I had such a blast last year singing so many Christmas classics as well as songs from my two holiday albums.  It’s such a special time of year and I hope you’ll come out and make some new memories with us this year” Says David

The tour will weave through Atlanta, Nashville, Portland and various cities in his home state of Utah before winding down on December 23.

Like most of you minions I am celebrating Christmas Day with family, most notably my Mom and her guy Bob who are visiting from Washington State. 

Today day we are indulging in the equivalent of Chinese Food from A Christmas Story and having Mexican Food instead.

With only three days left until Christmas, my Holiday spirit has taken a decidedly macabre turn with memories of a Tales From The Crypt story And All Through The House starring Joan Collins of Dynasty fame.

 After that bitch Joan Collins whacks her husband to death with a fireplace poker, she’s left with the messy problem of how to dispose of the body. Meanwhile, the holiday music on the radio is interrupted by a news bulletin warning residents that a psychotic killer has escaped from a local asylum.

And he’s dressed like Santa, naturally.

The killer Santa ends up on her doorstep. She can’t call the cops, with her husband’s body there in the living room, so all she can do is try to keep Santa from getting in. It’s a tense and CLAUStrophobic  little story that in a twisted way leaves you rooting for the Santa gone wild! 

Merry Christmas indeed!

Merry Christmas Peeps! I could not pass up the Holiday Season without posting one of my favorite modern Christmas songs by art fag alternative rock group Ponyboy.

This writer is a  HUGE Ponyboy fan and I have promoted them heavily here on Entertain Me. The group consists of two brilliant musicians/artists/raconteurs Charles McVey and David Zey. Their music is unapologetic, edgy and brutally honest.

"I'm Gonna Kill Myself On Christmas"  addresses the issue of LGBTQ suicides around the "happiest time of the year." While satirical in it's approach the underlying message is loud and clear.

Christmas is not only about giving and family. It's about being thankful. Please take the time to be grateful and give thanks to the universe for what you have and to realize there are others out there who are in pain.

If you are one of those people who is hurting please reach out to others for help. Trust me it's out there and people are willing if you ask.

"I hoped to bring some families together so they could sit and watch a move like this. I really wanted to celebrate the people, my whole family, who made me who and what I am today. I'm so blessed and thankful for everyone who watched and I hope this story reaches many, many more when NBC shows it Christmas night," said Parton. “Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors” ranks as the most-watched film on the four broadcast networks in more than six years with 13 million viewers during the initial Dec. 10 broadcast, and Nielsen live +3 nudging the total up by 2.5 million to an overall 15.6 million, plus a 27% hike that nudged the 18-49 demo from a 1.8 to 2.3. L+3 ratings measure live viewing plus DVR viewing up to three days later. The film is set in the Tennessee Great Smoky Mountains in 1955. Have Yourself A "Pretty Little Liars" Christmas

Thought We Were Doing Our Usual Halloween Special In 2014? We Lied, Merry Christmas!

Leaving Halloween specials behind, Pretty Little Liars producers decided to gift us with a Christmas episode instead. That airs, well, tonight!

But if you are expecting visions of sugar plums dancing in your head, you thought wrong.

The mystery surrounding the shocking death of Mona, played by the awesome Janel Parrish will be the center of the, Christmas celebration on the episode? So to speak.

"It's a dream sequence episode, but there's also a lot of really important things that happen in the episode," Says Janel. "Mona, actually before she died, leaves clues for Hanna to follow to find out who murdered her. The girls will be trying to figure out what exactly happened to Mona all the while having an amazingly creepy and fun holiday special."

We will also get the gift of whether Spencer might actually be cleared for the murder of Bethany Young.

In the wake of the group with the retro 80's sound Capital Cities recent performance of the Madonna classic on The Queen Latifah Show I thought I would wish everyone a Merry Christmas with a fond memory of my youth, Madonna's "Holiday" hey she never specified which one, or what kind, so it works in a universal sense.

When I was an impressionable 17 year old man I will never forget my first foray to Skoochie's (R.I.P.) a 16 and older club in Seattle, WA and seeing this woman with rubber bracelets and rosaries for days hanging off her bare midriff, it was really cool and an eye opener to the sheltered life I had been leading.

Since Christmas is a time of fond memories, and the 80's version of Madonna is one for me. Let's take a Holiday and celebrate, below...
