Freaky Friday

I Want It Now!
Dolly Parton
Counting down to Halloween I thought I would get Freaky Friday on your collective souls and give you one of the most unexpected celebrity Halloween costumes I came across while ghosting on the WWW.

Behold celebrity vampire Dolly Parton as, witch cackle please...Veruca Salt from Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory!

You know the spoiled brat who uttered this infamous line:

"All I've got at home is one pony and two dogs and four cats and six bunny rabbits and two parakeets and three canaries and a green parrot and a turtle, and a silly old hamster! I WANT a SQUIRREL!"

I'll take Dolly's version, much cuter and less toxic, to say the least. This creative and out of left field costume gets an A + from me. The only thing "Freaky" about it is who'd of thunk that Ms. Parton would ever conjure this diabolical idea up?

Freaky Friday

Fangtastic!
Angelina Jolie
"When other little girls wanted to be ballet dancers I kind of wanted to be a vampire" - Angelina Jolie

You know those times when you are surfing the WWW and you come across something unexpected? Well today is one of those times for me, thus I hereby decree it to be a Freaky Friday state of mind.

For some reason know only to an algorithm a photo of Angelina Jolie as a Vampire came up in one of my searches. It was so striking that I saved it and foisted it upon my minions today, right here, right now.

Not to mention it fits perfectly with a quote from Ms. Jolie herself about her childhood aspiration to become a blood sucking freak. To be honest her and I had the same lofty goal as kids. "Yes" I to wanted to be a creature of the night.

Combined with the fact that the Maleficent sequel is opening soon, October 18, 2019 to be exact. It's a Freaky Friday concoction too delicious not to imbibe...!!!

Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary... say it three times and see what happens.

Just Because....Pat The Puss

Eye Of The Tiger
Zachary Levi
Just Because he's so damned cute, Just Because he has a movie coming out based on a Saturday morning TV Show I used to watch & Just Because he gives a whole new meaning to Erika Jayne's signature move "pat the puss" - Ladies & Gentlemen I bring you Zachary Levi!

See Zachary giving his own spin on "pat the puss" at a photo call for his new movie Shazam in London."Yes" it's Mr. Levi patting a different sort of puss than Erika Jayne, a stuffed tiger to be exact.

Whilst I watched Shazam as kid, I have no desire to see the movie. Honestly it looks lame. The only way I would go see it is if Zachary were going to appear fully naked in it and pat something other than the puss. If you get my drift and I know you do...

So that's what's new today pussycat - minus the whoa oh on this Friday March 22, 2019.

Michael just sayin'.

Freaky Friday

When In Rome
Scott Disick
OK, today is not really Freaky Friday it's more about Freeballing. I personally am a big supporter of the non athletic kind of freeing the ball. "Yes" I do it all the time, every chance I get.

In the past I have brought you hung Freeballers Jon Hamm & Justin Theroux. Today's Freeball moment is brought to you by Scott Disick. Don't pretend you don't know who Scott is, he of Keeping Up With The Kardashians fame, Kourtney Kardashian's Baby Daddy -

Well now we know why she kept him around (other than for the kids) during all his wild and untamed thing antics. Yeah, there it's a pretty big one, if you get my drift and I know you do.

Honestly while Scott is not my cup of milk (wink) - I get why one might want to take him for a test drive around the block a few times.

But I would have personally kicked him to the curb each time and brought him back on a limited time basis.

Hey, never underestimate the power of VPL...

Film Buff Friday: Audition

The notorious "Audition" hits the streets on Blu-ray 2/12/19 - can you stomach it?!
One of the most shocking J-horror films ever made, Audition exploded onto the festival circuit at the turn of the century to a chorus of awards and praise. The film would catapult Miike to the international scene and pave the way for such other genre delights as Ichii the Killer and The Happiness of the Katakuris. Recent widower Shigeharu Aoyama is advised by his son to find a new wife, so he seeks the advice of a colleague having been out of the dating scene for many years. They take advantage of their position in a film company by staging an audition to find the perfect woman. Interviewing a series of women, Shigeharu becomes enchanted by Asami, a quiet, 24-year-old woman, who is immediately responsive to his charms. But soon things take a very dark and twisted turn as we find that Asami isn't what she seems to be... Pulling the audience into a story that will lead to one of the most harrowing climaxes in cinema history, Miike twists and turns us through delirious editing and shocking visuals for one of the most depraved nightmares of all time!

Coupling

Leaving on a Jet Plane
Ashley Benson & Cara Delevingne
When news broke that Pretty Little Liars Ashley Benson & Model/Actress Cara Delevingne were a couple it was one of those "Wow" came out of nowhere moments that was actually one of the coolest surprises ever. They were the couple you never knew you needed, but did.

Cut to post the press letting the cat out of the bag, they hadn't been seen in the the public together for quite some time. I thought did the press outing them as a couple halt the sexy twosome before they even had a chance to get started?!

Fear not Ashley & Cara fans, finally  the two were spotted by the press this past Friday at London's Gatwick Airport. "Yay" these two are still very much together. Wanna know why? They stay out of the public eye for the most part and another thing that is quite obvious to myself is they both are autonomous, having their own very separate lives

Kudos these two seem like they are going to last. Even if they don't this is how you relationship peeps!

Freaky Friday

I Was Dreaming Like A Texas Girl...
Lady Gaga & Rachel Bloom
File this under: Photo Ops you thought you'd never see. Bear witness to mega star Lady Gaga and off the beaten path TV star Rachel Bloom from My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend @ the SAG-AFTRA Foundation's 3rd Annual Patron of the Artists Awards in Beverly Hills, CA.

OK, so they were both there. But, what made them interact with one another? What was the draw for them (meaning Gaga) to actually want to get with Bloom for a photo? I ask you, I know you don't have any remote idea like me, but I just thought I would throw it out there.

Wouldn't it be interesting if Gaga is a closet fan of My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend? Because I can 100% guarantee you Bloom is a Gaga fan, since pretty much everyone is!

One other theory, maybe they want to be each other for a day....

Freaky Friday indeed!

Film Buff Friday - "Bloodlines"

I was made aware of Vincent via Margaret Cho, fascinating stuff...

"A morbid, fascinating, and remarkably inspiring new documentary about one of the most acclaimed artists of our time." - Metal Injection

Award winning Filmmaker / Author John Borowski's (H.H. Holmes: America's First Serial Killer) fifith feature documentary film, Bloodlines: The Art and Life of Vincent Castiglia, will be released in North America on November 13th. The film focuses on artist Castiglia's painful life of abuse, addiction, and recovery while also exploring the reasons why the world renowned artist paints exclusively in human blood.

Vincent Castiglia paints surreal images exclusively in human blood. He began doing so as form of self-healing following a troubled childhood and painful existence. From darkness, however, came light, and Castiglia's story is one of inspiration and hope, providing proof that art can heal and serve to inspire others.

Margaret Cho, who commissioned Vincent to paint her portrait in her blood, is interviewed in the film as well as celebrities Gregg Allman, Damien Echols, Kerry King and Gary Holt of the heavy metal band Slayer, record executive Michael Alago, and numerous others including filming in the studio and museum of legendary artist H.R. Giger, who designed the iconic creature for the Alien movies.

After a successful Kickstarter fundraising campaign, production of the film spanned from 2014 to 2018, filming on location in the United States: New York City, Los Angeles, Louisiana, Chicago, Oregon, and internationally: Singapore and Switzerland.

Just Because...Tom Hardy & Michelle Williams

Us, The Duo
Tom Hardy & Michelle Williams
Just Because I really like her as an actress, Just Because he's hotter than Georgia asphalt and Just Because they have a movie, Venom arriving this Friday - Here are Tom Hardy & Michelle Williams pimping said film in Beverly Hills this past Thursday.

While I have no intention of seeing Venom, I like this photo op with the two leads. Not to mention I have a "thing" for Tom Hardy. That's correct peeps, even though I have lost 50 lbs, my ideal weight would be Tom on top of me!

TMI? Well I'm a giver, and we like to share...

So here's the thing that befuddles me, who the F#ck is Venom anyway and are there really minions clamoring for an epic about him?

I suppose there must be, right? Why else would a studio, in this case, Sony fork over millions for such an endeavor?

Venom opens Friday, so does A Star Is Born - I'll be seeing the latter.

Freaky Friday

Cheers to Beer!
Lady Gaga
This ayem I received an E-mail that informed me today is National Drink Beer Day - really, I'm not joking. Seeing as how there seems to be a day for everything, why not drinking beer? I ask you? I'm waiting for an answer...

What is odd about the whole situation is how and why I received this correspondence via a site called HaveGuru.com, a place I have never dared to go on the WWW. Also, why when I try to reach it, it does not come up, yet it sends E-mail?!

Freaky Friday indeed minions.

To celebrate I chose my own poster person for said day, the woman of the hour Lady Gaga imbibing in the refreshing golden liquid at a Mets game.

So join Moi & Gaga and raise a mug in honor of beer's special day and toast to websites that do not exist sending "Ghost E-mails" about days that do exist.

Cheers!
