BBMAK RELEASE NEW SINGLE "BULLET TRAIN" TODAY
FIRST NEW ALBUM IN 16 YEARS TO BE RELEASED IN AUGUST
2019 “Back Here” NORTH AMERICAN TOUR BEGINS MAY 7
Mark Barry, Christian Burns and Stephen McNally who reunited in 2018 after a 15-year hiatus have revealed they will release a brand new album this August on Triple Jet Music with their first new single, “Bullet Train”out today. Click here to listen: http://smarturl.it/e7dwor and watch the lyric video: https://youtu.be/kGmxv6wW9XU
“Bullet Train is the perfect single to reintroduce us to the world as it's a song that morphs the old and the new sound. Driving acoustic guitars and three part harmonies for that BBMAK signature sound. We hope you’ll be singing this one in your sleep! “ – said Ste, Mark & Christian
The band are also set to embark on the first leg of their North America tour beginning Tuesday, May 7. The tour, dubbed “Back Here” after their massive 1999 worldwide hit, will travel through the northeast with an already sold-out show in Boston as well as dates in New York, Nashville & Austin, TX and more.
“We are very busy in the studio putting the finishing touches to our third studio album which is set for release later this summer. We are so thrilled to be hitting the road for a full tour in May since we absolutely loved our first few shows last November, and were blown away seeing all the fans come out after all those years away. We’re excited to get back on stage and play, as we have a special set of shows planned, which will include brand new BBMAK music. Our fans have really stood with us and we can’t wait for them to hear it!” said Ste, Mark & Christian
In addition, the group has one-of-a-kind unique items up for grabs to coincide with the album release. The BBMAK Vintage Merch Bundle includes; 1 vintage signed postcard, 2 vintage stickers, set of four pins, and three guitar picks, in addition, fans can choose one of BBMAK’s songs and they will record an acoustic performance of that song just for you!, Or receive one short video message from the band or send one to a friend!, Receive one disposable camera from the band, filled with images taken in the studio, on tour, or around town.
More BBMAK Photo: Andy Earl |
As previously announced, other exclusive items include; handwritten & signed lyric sheet for one BBMAK song of your choosing, signed polaroid photo (no two are alike) of the band and, of course, the new album signed by the band.
The multi-platinum selling English pop group has sold more than three million albums, and had hit singles worldwide between 1999 and 2003, when they disbanded.
Best known for their self-penned infectious guitar driven hits “Back Here,” “Out of My Heart“ and “The Ghost of You and Me,” BBMAK was one of the few bands from that genre to play their own instruments. Billboard Magazine named “Back Here” the 9th Greatest Boy Band Song of All Time.

Here Come The Judds
Naomi & Wynonna Judd |
Remember when the Judds were hot, hot , hot?
Then you are old.
Together, Country Music icons Wynonna and Naomi Judd made musical history throughout their career receiving eight Gold and eight Platinum records, selling over 20 million albums and scoring twenty Top 10 hits between 1984-1990. Now, Curb Records is excited to bring fans the ultimate collection of those years together. The Judds – All-Time Greatest Hits will be released on Friday, June 30 – and will feature each of the classic hits that helped to make them a household name on Country Radio in the 1980s and 1990s.
"Some things continue to get better with time, like fine wine and the Judds music," says Naomi Judd. "I’m so proud that our music has stood the test of time. It makes my heart smile when I turn on Country Radio and I can sing along with our hits."
The twenty-one song set will feature each of the duo’s top ten hits, as well as “You Can’t Go Home Again (Flies On The Butter),” a recording from 2011. Beginning with the classic #1 hit “Mama, He’s Crazy” in 1984, and continuing through 1991’s “One Hundred and Two,” the duo established a career that will stand with one of the top duets in Country Music history. Fourteen times the duo topped the Billboard Country Singles chart, and each of their five studio albums were certified Gold or Platinum.
Along with their sales and airplay success, The Judds also dominated the awards shows like no artist before their time. Starting in 1984, the duo netted nine CMA Awards, including a run from 1985-1991 as either Vocal Duo or Vocal Group of the Year. Their trophies also include the 1985 Single of the Year “Why Not Me,” which is also included on The Judds – All Time Greatest Hits. They also won seven straight trophies from the Academy of Country Music – and the 2013 Cliffie Stone Pioneer Award. Their award collection also includes five Grammy awards. The Judds were the subject of a 1988 CBS TV-Special called Across The Heartland, a 1995 NBC mini-series based on Love Can Build A Bridge, the best-selling novel written by Naomi, and a 2011 reality series, The Judds, on the Oprah Winfrey Network.

Little Mermaid, Justin Bieber
Ariel The Mermaid Is My Half Sister Justin Bieber |
Yesterday in spin class while the song Sorry by Justin Bieber was propelling our motion along. The instructor says: "How many of you in here would date Justin Bieber?"
Oh, is that what you would call it? I certainly wouldn't want to date him because I really don't need to hear him talk. Who would date him?! I wouldn't want to have a conversation with him, but with his supple ass I'd certainly want to do something to him...and then be done.
Then I come home to see J. Bieb in a towel, not in all his glory, like in those recent vacation images that surfaced (nice package boy) with Little Mermaid hair. My moniker for that purple gray color that's going around.
Still, doable, but Daddy says change it back to platinum, now!

Country music icon Tanya Tucker will charm listeners this Halloween weekend when she appears on “The Alamo Jones Show” Saturday, October 31 from 1–5pm (CDT) on SiriusXM’s Outlaw Country (Channel 60).
Tucker, known for charismatic and witty personality, will open up about her nationwide tour underway as well as some of her outlaw stories from the road and her illustrious career. The sassy and outspoken star is one of the few women to successfully penetrate the Outlaw Country movement.
In addition to Tucker’s appearance on Saturday, SiriusXM’s Outlaw Country will replay “The Alamo Jones Show” again on Sunday, November 1 from 5–9pm (CST).
Currently, Tucker is preparing for the launch of a new album while criss-crossing the country with her instantly recognizable vocal flare and legendary repertoire that includes “Some Kind of Trouble,” “Two Sparrows in a Hurricane,” “Love Me Like You Used To” and many more.
Of course, no Tucker performance would be complete without her breakthrough hit, “Delta Dawn.” The Alex Harvey-written classic, which launched thirteen year old Tucker into superstardom in 1972, anchors a performance that showcases her hits as well as stories and anecdotes from her 40 year career.
Since her 1972 debut, Tucker has enjoyed an incredible career that garnered her four Platinum albums and eight Gold albums. In a storied 40 year career, she has produced 23 Top 40 albums and a string of 56 Top 40 singles, 10 of which reached the No. 1 spot on the Billboard charts. Along the way, she has provided some of the biggest country music hits of each decade, including, “Blood Red and Goin’ Down,” “Would you Lay with Me (In a Field of Stone)” and “Texas (When I Die).” Tucker is also the recipient of numerous awards, including two CMAs, two ACMs, and three CMT awards.

You Know That Evening With Collective Soul...
Platinum-Selling Rock Band Collective Soul Set to Release
Ninth Album See What You Started By Continuing on October 2
USA TODAY premieres new single “This”
USA TODAY premieres new single “This”
Collective Soul, the multi-platinum selling band that helped sonically define alternative rock, is set to release their long-awaited ninth album, See What You Started By Continuing on October 2nd. The announcement was made today via USAToday.com where the band also premiered the first single “This.” See What You Started By Continuing marks the band’s Vanguard Records debut. Starting tomorrow, July 16th, fans can receive a free download of "This" from the band's website, www.collectivesoul.com.
Formed in the small town of Stockbridge, GA in the early 1990’s, Collective Soul consists of principal songwriter and frontman Ed Roland (lead vocals/keyboards/guitars), Dean Roland (rhythm guitarist), Will Turpin (bassist), Johnny Rabb (drummer) and Jesse Triplett (lead guitarist).
Roland explains the album title See What You Started By Continuing came following a year off after the band had been going non-stop for 19 years. “During that year, we had time to reflect and be proud of what we had accomplished over the years,” says Roland. “When we came back together, we were rested and more confident than we had ever been in our careers. We never thought of this as a second chance, but more of a second breath. We wanted to continue doing what we had always done and that was to make guitar driven music.”
See What You Started By Continuing was recorded and mixed at Edible Studios in Atlanta, GA and mixed by industry veteran Shawn Grove. Following the release of the new album, the band will embark on their “21st Birthday” tour. More details to follow.

Who Rocks It Best? Jared Leto or Kim Kardashian?
Blonde & Blonder |
Well Jared is obviously bleaching out because of his upcoming role as The Joker in Suicide Squad. "Yes" the next time you see him he will be fifty shades of green.
Kim K. went all out too recently, for a change of pace I am guessing. Well as we all know from recent photos of her there is no carpet to match any of her drapes. So why not?!
Who rocks it best? From my POV it's Jared of course! Like, you even had to ask given my random outbursts of Leto on here.
This post is brought to you by Frivolous Friday - because weekends were made for fun!

Dolly Parton Goes Platinum
Dolly Parton: My Hair Isn't The Only Platinum Thing |
DOLLY PARTON SCORES UK PLATINUM ALBUM
WITH BIGGEST SALES FROM AN INTERNATIONAL FEMALE IN 2014
OMG! To all you Dolly lovers out there this will come as no surprise. Actually this is quite the achievement in this time and place for any artist, the Dolly train is never going to run out of steam!
As 2014 draws to a close, Dolly Parton is far from resting on her laurels, and shows no signs of slowing down. The songstress continues to make history, with a record-setting tour overseas, and also raises the bar from a sales standpoint with yet another platinum selling album in a career that has already seen worldwide sales of over one hundred million records, and shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon.
"I was so happy when Blue Smoke went Silver, so excited when it went Gold and now I'm over the moon to hear that we have gone Platinum,” says Parton. “Thanks to the fans and to everybody who made this happen." Once again, the Country Music Hall of Fame member proved her timeless quality as a recording artist once again with the Platinum-selling success of her CD Blue Smoke....The Best Of, a collection that includes her most recent studio album as well as a compilation that includes many of her most memorable hits, such as “Love Is Like A Butterfly,” “Here You Come Again,” and her biggest hit as a solo artist, 1980’s “9 To 5.” But, Dolly’s success with the album was not entirely tied to those past glories. Blue Smoke....The Best Of earned a pair of Top-30 airplay hits for Parton in the UK with ‘Try” and “Home,” as well as her cover of Bon Jovi’s “Lay Your Hands On Me” and the title cut, which also made the Top-40 airplay. Parton’s success overseas continued with a recent nomination for International Artist of the Year at the BBC Music Awards 2014. The nomination capped off a year in which Parton – after five decades in the business – scored one of her biggest and most heralded performances ever. "Dolly Parton has been making great music for decades, and the Blue Smoke album sits right among her best recorded work. We at Masterworks are honored to be working with one of our industry's biggest icons, and happily congratulate Dolly, her label Dolly Records, as well as our partners at Sony Music UK, on this great achievement,” says Bogdan Roscic, President of Sony Music Masterworks The success of Blue Smoke...The Best Of gives Parton the distinction of having the biggest album from an International female so far this year.

Get Ready For Shania, Twain That Is
Remember when Shania Twain was hot, hot, hot with the multi-platinum selling album "Come On Over?"
Not only did it sell 20 million copies (Dr. Evil would have been so proud) on CD. Yes people actually used to buy those too.
It was actually one of my favorite discs, being a music whore I had many favorites. Time to check out this blast from the Shania past!
The Discovery Of Eilleen Twain
CD / DVD combo pack available on February 11
Featuring early footage and songs from Shania Twain,
when she was still struggling artist Eilleen Twain.
|
Eilleen Twain got her first break in the late 80s in Viva Vegas, a legendary Vegas style resort show produced by Brian Ayers at Deerhurst Inn Resort in Ontario, Canada.
Vegas North brings revealing interviews with former cast members and music veterans of that era, taking you back to Eilleen's roots along with footage of her heartfelt renditions of "Somewhere Out There" and "Somewhere Over The Rainbow."
The Bonus CD, Eilleen Twain: Beginnings 1989-1990 features ten re-mastered songs Shania's early career. The tracks are just what the title indicates: the beginnings - tunes intended to be used as demos to help draw attention to a young and struggling singer who would become a country diva known and loved around the world.
These are more rock, power pop, and adult contemporary than country, fitting into the late 80s just as they should have when they were recorded.

I Have An "Alien Ant Farm" In Africa
Ei ei ooooooooooooo.....
Multi-Platinum Alt-Rockers ALIEN ANT FARM
Post Sneak Preview of New Song
Multi platinum rockers Alien Ant Farm have shared a sneak peak of one of their new songs "Let Em Know"....
About Alien Ant Farm:
Since the formation of Alien Ant Farm in 1995, the quartet has enjoyed worldwide success. Over the course of their four studio albums, cumulative sales surpass five million units a Grammy nomination and 4 top 10 singles. The band built a massive following on the road early in their career via high profile 2001 runs with Linkin Park, Papa Roach, Warped, and as the headliner on an MTV presented Fall Tour. In 2002, fame spread across the world, bringing Alien Ant Farm to the major European festivals, Australia's Big Day Out and a headline run in Japan. The following year they returned to Europe with Metallica, and to this day the band has steadily delivered audiences in territories across the globe.
From the beginning, the clever humor of vocalist Dryden Mitchell and guitarist Terry Corso has delivered visual imagery that made the band vanguards in the realm of music video. All of the singles released received heavy rotation on MTV and MTV2, with "Smooth Criminal" was voted the #2 video of 2001 on MTV's countdown. They appeared on the channel's programs Celebrity Dismissed, MTV Cribs, and hosted House of Style. Alongside the massive support from cable, Alien Ant Farm were darlings of broadcast television with multiple appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and support from Carson Daly, Extra, CNN, Access Hollywood and Mad-TV amongst many more. With all the notoriety also came a 2001 Grammy nomination for Best Hard Rock Performance in 2001.
The early history of the band began when the name came from a daydream Terry Corso had while employed at a day job. The concept revolves around the human species being cultivated by alien intelligence, and the colony forming much like it does in a traditional children's toy. In 1999, Alien Ant Farm self-released their debut titled Greatest Hits, which went on to win Best Independent Album at the L.A. Music Awards. In 2000, they signed to DreamWorks SKG, and went on to release Anthology. The following year, a cover of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal" became a massive hit overseas, rising to #1 in Australia and New Zealand, and on the U.S. Modern Rock charts. It also rose to #3 in the U.K. To set the record straight on the inspiration behind choosing this song amongst the millions of copyrights, Corso shares, "When we were a young local band in SoCal, we'd play a different cover song by a different artist every show we would do. Wild unexpected stuff and sometimes not even songs we were that into. Just whatever was going on around us on the radio or whatever fit in with our inside jokes at that minute, from Ileah to Gary Glitter to The Police, we had a lot of fun with it. One week we had been throwing the idea of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal" around the jam room, I believe someone had just watched Moonwalker again. The very next sow we played, we hadn't learned the whole song yet but decided to klunk the main riff out for fun, the crowd loved it and went a little crazy. After that we learned the entire song and super charged it. The rest is pretty much history." To this day, the cover is a crowd pleaser. This past October 8th, the band was asked to appear alongside Cee Lo Green, Smokey Robinson and The Jackson Family at the Michael Jackson Forever Tribute Concert in Cardiff, Wales.
In 2003, the Alien Ant Farm entered the studio with Stone Temple Pilots' Robert and Dean DeLeo and cut Truant. Unfortunately, they ran in to unforeseen adversity with the closure of their record label, offering an insurmountable obstacle to continue building on the band's successes. Still under contract to Universal, Geffen green-lit the opportunity for Alien Ant Farm to return to the studio. In 2005, they recorded with Jim Wirt, but that album was not released as scheduled. Alien Ant Farm chose to share it with with fans via a bootlegged version, which has affectionately been re-named 3rd Draft by the public. Looking back on the adversity the band went through, alongside the massive fame Mitchell reflects, "This Alien Ant Farm 'Wave' is a bigger, longer wave than I could have hoped for. All these years later, we are still intact. From friends to foes to friends again, this band is something special, and nothing short of tight and explosive."
The next year in 2006 Up In The Attic was issued, and for the next several years the members went their separate ways reconvening in 2009 for performances in Kansas City, the Sonisphere Festival in Knebworth, UK and at the WARPED Tour in memory of Michael Jackson. They were back, and come 2010 began to rebuild a legacy that grows with each passing month. The band staged a very successful tour over the Summer and Fall, where they road tested new material in front of the live audience. In the New Year, they'll release the new recordings. Mitchell shares, "The First batch of these new songs are pretty to the point and pissed. Angry, but not negative. That is possible in this non tangible, musical and lyrical world. Unfortunately not possible in the real world, and that's why I love music. I can get this all out without hurting anyone."
Come 2013 Alien Ant Farm will return, and the path for the future will unfold one day at a time. The band is hard at work on their new record "Always And Forever" (AAF) which will be release in the summer of 2013, guitarist Corso shares, "We are pretty excited for the year to come. We just came off of a three-month tour in the U.S. that made us realize that with the original line-up back together, we have fire and hunger again. With a fresh new collection, we hope to get our core fans excited, as well as turn some brand new listeners on to the ALIEN ANT FARM sound and show the world we have a lot more to offer than the average rock band.” Having the original members back in the line-up will give the fans what they have been waiting for." In summation, bassist Zamora offers, "Although we spent a couple of years apart and wrote our last record with only three original members, there is no denying the chemistry of the original four piece. The band, the show, and the songs are just better with all of the original members doing what they were born to do, being Alien Ant Farm." Drummer Cosgrove echoes, "It's good to have the original core back together." With strong repertoire, great attitudes, and a fan base that has been there every step of the way, the future is lining up nicely for Alien Ant Farm.
