Kiefer Sutherland opens his songwriting notebook and premieres the pedal-steeled, country/Americana-tinged “Not Enough Whiskey” video on Rolling Stone Country Monday. “Not Enough Whiskey,” available April 1 on iTunes, is the debut track from Sutherland’s upcoming Down In A Hole album set for release this summer. Sutherland will also appear as a presenter during the 51st Academy of Country Music Awards™ Sunday, April 3 at 8/7c on CBS.
 
Sutherland, who co-wrote every track on the upcoming 11-track album Down In A Hole with producer Jude Cole, including “Not Enough Whiskey,” embarks on a nationwide 32-date tour April 14. See tour dates below.
 
“This record is the closest thing I’ve ever had to a journal or diary. All of these songs are pulled from my own personal experiences. There is something very satisfying about being able to look back on my own life, good times and bad, and express those sentiments in music. As much as I have enjoyed the writing and recording process, I am experiencing great joy now being able to play these songs to a live audience, which was something I hadn’t counted on,” Sutherland said of the 11-track album. A track listing and release date will be announced soon.
 
Sutherland, known for his starring role on the Fox series "24," also starred in movies like ‘Stand By Me’, ‘The Lost Boys’, ‘Young Guns’, Flatliners’, ‘A Few Good Men’, ‘A Time to Kill’, ‘Dark City’, ‘Melancholia’ and most recently, a western called ‘Forsaken’ and the upcoming ABC series “Designated Survivor.”

Taylor Hicks celebrates the Holiday Season by doing what many other popular artists before him have done. His own version of "Silent Night" - all the popular people are doing it, peer pressure, peer pressure! Taylor Hicks, the Alabama-bred entertainer who first won over the hearts of America by winning the fifth season of "American Idol," is making a lots of heads (and ears) turn with his inspiring version of a Christmas classic – just in time for the holiday season. The million-selling recording artist has just released his stirring take on the standard “Silent Night,” which he says is very meaningful to him. “I remember going to church on Christmas Eve and singing ‘Silent Night’ would just give me chills… All the lights in the church went dark. We would all sing softly together as we lit candles down the aisle. With the Nativity on the altar and being surrounded by my closest friends and family, it really made me feel the true spirit of Christmas – and still does to this day,” Taylor said. “When we recorded the single a couple months ago, it was well after midnight. The studio was dark and we lit candles to help get us into that same spirit. What we laid down that night was very heartfelt, and I really hope the fans can feel that, too. There’s too much darkness in the world today – and my hope is that this song can shed some light into those dark places." “Silent Night” has already become the number one streamed song on the weekly PlayMPE Chart for the Christian music format, and is also being worked to pop radio and Holiday-oriented stations. The singer is getting himself in the holiday spirit with his appearance in the Hollywood Christmas Parade over Thanksgiving weekend, which will air on December 11 at 8pm ET/PT on the CW Network. A "Stalker" Romance

Maggie Q & Dylan McDermott

Sometimes life and art bleed together and it's hard to tell the difference, apparently such is the case with Dylan McDermott and Maggie Q who co-star on the new hit series Stalker on CBS.

Neither of them have confirmed it, but the stalkerazzi have caught them with their all seeing lenses out and about together looking thisclose.

Hey they have great chemistry on the show so this really should not surprise those who have seen it.

I have met Mr. McDermott he attended a play I was in once because one of my co-stars was his waiter at a restaurant where he was a regular. What a cool guy he is and if you think he looks good on TV you ought to see him in person.

Fact: Stalking cases have gone up 400 percent since the Internet boom, only two more days until Halloween!
