As I was on one of my many walks through the City of Angels I spied this stencil on the ground and snapped a photo of it, and "Yes" that is my bare foot next to it.

What does it actually mean?! Hell if I know, but it's meaning can take on many forms and that's the beauty of it. It means what you want it to mean.

I know you want to know what I personally think it's meaning is, I was going to tell you but I think you should just think about it while you Hump Day & Chill.

Hence I had to take a screen shot post haste and do a, what else? Sunday Funday blog around it.

I actually was not following Ms. Keaton on IG, it was one of those things that showed up in my feed because people I follow and who follow me liked it. Well thanks Instagram your pushy ways did gain Diane (as I'm going to refer to her from now on) a new follower.

Heading Into 2022 Like...

Here it be, the last day of 2021, and aren't you happy?! Honestly with the way things are going I am indifferent at best. I also suspect that I really don't have to delve into the reasons why as I am sure my indifference is a universal experience.

I am celebrating the best way possible IMO, I am hitting the gym this morning and then stopping by Trader Joe's on my way home to pick up some NYE treats for the evening.

Basically I am staying in with a friend to celebrate and watching Miley's New Years Eve Party hosted by Miley Cyrus (duh) and Pete Davidson.

While this may not be living large with everything happening in the world at present I am winning by celebrating this way.

Thus whatever your plans tonight, be safe and stay healthy and don't let the bed bugs bite...Ouch!

Just Because it's just another Manic Monday, Just Because that's the way it is & Just Because well it looks awesome! Here is Miley Cyrus performing a headline set at this past weekend's Lollapalooza painting it red in Gucci, naturally.

While I understand people have been pent up for a while, the images I saw from the event with thousands upon hundreds mask-less Minions all up in each other's grill gave me pause. Especially since the Delta Variant is on the loose.

Sending it out to the universe that Lollapalooza does not end up inadvertently becoming a superspreader event.

Now back to the focus, Miley and Gucci, great way to kick off the week. Would love to have seen her performance I think she's amazing!

Stand By You

As Pride Month winds down the celebration continues, yay!!! Friday was the debut of Miley Cyrus' Stand By You on Peacock. Stand By You is a concert put on by Cyrus and friends to celebrate what else? Pride, naturally. I viewed this amazing show last night.

Miley as we all know is an ally who is also a member of the LGBTQ community. 

While I do not review things in this space, and am not about to begin doing so right here, right now, I will go into this stating that I am a fan of Cyrus'. Her voice and expert showmanship are top notch, and let's just say this concert does not disappoint. Please refer to my out of the gate "amazing" comment if you have any questions about how I actually feel 😉 

It's uplifting, moving and most of all first class entertainment. Thus as Pride Month comes to a close this is a must add to your list of things to do in celebration of it.

OK, I know it is merely the second day of 2021 and, yeah, it's pretty much like 2020 thus far. I am looking forward to when the world finally starts moving that way.

So in the meantime I need things other than Netflix binges to keep my morale up. Shiny things that sparkle, like Miley Cyrus performing at Dick Clark's New Years Rockin Eve 2021.

"Yes" I am a Cyrus fan, she's one of the best contemporary artist out there at present. Honestly I jam to a song or two of hers at least once a day.

What's that you say? Did I catch her on NYRE? Sort of, I seent it on YouTube, I am asleep by midnight always and feel no special need to indulge in staying up to ring in the New Year. What's the point?! It isn't going to, especially this year, change with the flip of a switch.

Today I hereby add Miley Cyrus to my list of things to keep my spirits up while we wait for the world to mobilize in a positive manner.

Face Masks may be the best thing to happen to celebrities seeking anonymity in public. Seriously, I swear I saw a friend of mine and her BF the other day, out and about and it turned out to be a couple that merely resembled them. Hey, all I could see was them from the eyes up, so it was an honest case of mistaken identities. Luckily I realized it wasn't them before I went to engage the pair in conversation.

Thus here we have a celebrity out grocery shopping with her mask on. While I most likely would not notice most famous people out and about in their masks, this one I would, hey she's a one of a kind that always stands out. She could wear a potato sack and a her mask and I bet I would still recognize her.

Today I am in a Throwback Thursday state of mind, hence the photo of myself I chose to use.
