For some reason of late the 1997 (damn! it's been that long ago?!) horror/slasher movie I Know What You Did Last Summer has been always on my mind.

It also sums up my Monday Mood...don't question me because I will never get into details as to why. Fluff up your pillow and know that life is but a waking dream.

Thus there you have it. Ambiguous and vague as it is.

As we head into the final days of October aka the remaining days until Halloween I am going to be feeling all things macabre. Tis the season time to revel as they all say (or is it me that says that?)

Thus Jennifer Tilly and her alter ego Tiffany (ya know from the Bride of Chucky) lounging by the pool drinking champagne captures my Monday Mood disturbingly well. 

It's the right amount of chill, with some macabre thrown in and completely 100% certified (by me) cool 😎

After a lovely weekend, heading into the new week feels like my head is spinning. "Yes" my Monday Mood is definitely on point with the season. Hey, it's a mere thirteen days until Halloween and I've got so many things to attend to, naturally.

The Grammy's were last night, and honestly I am too old for them. I didn't even know who most of the people were TBH. 

However my Monday Mood is perfectly summed up by Harry Styles who won Best Pop Solo Performance for his hit single "Watermelon Sugar." My mood matches the outfit Styles was working at the award show last night.

Fun, unexpected and bold. That's one thing I will give Harry he sure knows how to mix-n-match an attention getting ensemble. He isn't afraid to go big and go home.

So let's bend it like Harry, shan't we?

Twas the first Monday of 2021 and all through out the world the only creature stirring was a big orange ________ it's time to fill in the blank Minions! Honestly the New Year does not begin until January 20th 2021 IMHO. Until then it's like 2020 on replay, same old sh!t different day (and at this point year.)

So this photo of Dwayne Johnson and his daughter from this past Thanksgiving sums up my Monday Mood quite epically. "Yes" it feels like it has been five long years since the November election and at least one of those years has been from January 1st 2021, till today. Honestly I'm over it, much like this father and daughter duo are.

Looking forward to, well, moving forward, not perpendicular. Here is the trick to keep ourselves collectively on track, don't look back, and make the most of every day. Even though the above photo this is reflective of how many of us fee at present, we gotta keep on keeping.

Me? Oh yeah I've got things to do the first Monday of 2021, but those things are for me to know, and you to never find out.

This week I'm rolling into Monday like "Hi" - trying to keep it real and honest while maintaining my sanity. Meaning I need to visit my "Happy Place" and try to block out the strife and chaos around me.

So Ice-T on the set of Law & Order: SVU in NYC waving at fans is my spirit animal for the week. Ice is one cool dude and Law & Order: SVU is absolutely one of my "Happy Places" as it is my favorite TV Show ever.
