On June 28th 1985 the movie St. Elmo's Fire was released making it 35 years old, today. Directed by the recently deceased Joel Schumacher it was one of those movies that defined a generation.
While I haven't seen it since it first came out, I remember it vividly, mainly because of it's sharply drawn and honest characters. I also had graduated High School the year before the movie debuted, thus it's relevance to me.
