Remember the heavily gay subtext of A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge? Of course you do it's notoriety has only increased with time.

Well here's a shot of the betrothed couple Jesse Walsh (Mark Patton) & Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund) 

I rewatched this not too long ago for the first time since it came out and I must say I'm surprised that it even got made. Honestly I know I referred to the gay elements in it as subtext, but let's face it there was nothing subtle about it.

Mark Patton does make a great Scream Queen and Robert Englund will always be Freddy Krueger no matter who else may play him in future endeavors.

Congratulations to the happy couple!

Remember A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge? The least successful sequel of the series at the time, the one that was like a puzzle piece that didn't fit? You know the sequel where the protagonist Jesse portrayed by Mark Patton was a tortured teen struggling with his homosexuality, yeah that one.
