Infinity Pool

While many of you await the next Marvel movie or mind numbing blockbuster. I get excited over films like Infinity Pool. 

Opening next Friday Infinity Pool comes from the mind of Brandon Cronenberg ("Yes" David's son) and it goes something along these lines -

"Guided by a seductive and mysterious woman, a couple on vacation venture outside the resort grounds and find themselves in a culture filled with violence, hedonism and untold horror. A tragic accident soon leaves them facing a zero tolerance policy for crime: either you'll be executed, or, if you're rich enough to afford it, you can watch yourself die instead."

Not to mention it stars one of my favorite actors Mia Goth and the yummy Alexander Skarsgard.

You can keep your Marvel movies and your Avatar type of whatever it is. This where I will next Friday!

Hump Day & Chill

It's here, today is the first day of winter, and a scant four days now until Christmas...

Thus we are going to Hump Day & Chill (literally) in style. When I saw this meme of Pearl topping a Christmas Tree with her refrain "Please! I'm a star!" well you know that my dark soul was quite pleased that someone out there had thought to make it, just for me (and of course them.)

 Mia Goth is amazing in the X prequel Pearl. She gives a riveting 8 minute monologue and I couldn't look away, not once, even for a split second.

She so deserves her Best Lead Performance nomination at the Independent Spirit Awards and more, bring it.

Also happened to stumble upon this mash-up of Pearl saying "Please, I'm a star!" on YouTube. "Yes" Minions it's time to Hump day & Chill to it right after the jump! Jump and jump now!!!
