From what I gather the Met Gala was last night. For all of you recovering Catholics it must have been an intense experience of the third kind seeing Rihanna dressed in a custom look by Maison Margiela that was so Pope Francis. 

Me? Frankly it gave me a boner. Only Rihanna could pull this, that and a few other things off.

What's that? OK, here's an equal time comment for actual Catholics - are you writhing in blasphemy over this ultra amazing outfit? If so, I'm not surprised keep doing your thing, but please try to keep it to yourself. No one wants to hear it.

On that particular tangent I bid you all adieu.

Lena Dunham Goes Full "Scandal"

"Basically, my life's great passion is the idea of being a guest-star on Scandal,"  Lena Dunham creator and star of HBO's Girls recently confessed during an interview with Grantland's B.S.Report. "I want to be like, a senator who did something wrong."

Well Lena the Casting Fairy has granted your wish and you will be appearing on the drama this March.

No real details have been divulged, but I bet she is somehow connected with Olivia Pope & Associates, since everyone else in the world is a mere few degrees of separation from the agency headed by Kerry Washington as the "Pope" of Washington D.C. 

Dunham reportedly wants to play an "evil character" - I hope so that would be juicy!

Look out for The Pope! Olivia Pope that is (yeah, I could have meant Pope John Paul, what ever Roman numeral he is, but…NOT!)

Olivia is in charge and she solves problems better than you, yep, nobody does it better in the hot new ABC show “Scandal”.

One of my most favorite actresses and total grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrl crush Kerry Washington is The Pope of all media….Kerry Washington, Kerry Washington, Kerry Washington.

Don’t mess with this woman she has ties to The White House and is having an affair with the President of the United States played excellently by Tony Goldwyn. Ooooooooooops! Did I give too much away?! Damn! I deserve a spanking…Olivia care to administer?

Not sure what else I should give away to you virgins, but suffice it to say, Shonda Rhimes, the machine behind “Grey’s Anatomy” is behind this, and this show rocks!

Oh, Shonda, while I respect your talent, please do not let this show “jump the shark” after two seasons like  you did “Grey’s” “Happy Day’s” ( the show that coined that phrase) waited a long time before that - Katherine Heigl was correct to leave when she did.

Also props to friend and past interview subject Guillermo Diaz as the mysterious “Huck”.
