"Screamityville"

On October 14, Borderline Media proudly presents Screamityville on Blu-ray, DVD, and select digital platforms. The film invites you to take a hauntingly fun tour of Halloween-themed houses, from the same creators who brought you Christmas Lights, Christmas Lights 2: Bigger Dazzling Displays, and Christmas Lights 3: Winter Wonderlights.  

Screamityville shows off dozens of spectacular homes, each fully decked out to celebrate the thrills and chills of Halloween. These homeowners have taken things far beyond simply placing a pumpkin on the porch. Numerous front yards are covered in elaborate and overwhelming displays of tombstones, skeletons, jack-o-lanterns, humongous spiders, ghastly ghouls, and anything else that goes bump in the night. A wicked clown house will reinforce your suspicions and phobias. Glowing ghosts float through the trees and creepy cemeteries. Cobwebs, smoke, and strobe lights enhance the gory and horrifying effects that turn sweet suburban front yards into supernatural wonderlands.  

The 84-minute tour is brought to life with spooky atmospheric music and chilling sound effects, perfect for your Halloween-themed party. There are no interviews or narration to interrupt the spooky displays as the camera explores the array of undead marvels. Viewers will find themselves amazed, shocked, and inspired by the sights and sounds of Screamityville.

Happy Monday! If you happened to watch the Emmys last night you got the usual mixed bag of highs and lows. My favorite speech of the evening belongs to Cristin Milioti who won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress In A Limited Or Anthology Series for The Penguin.

Thanking someone and wanting to "freebase their brain" has to be one of the all time best quotes I've ever heard an actor utter during an award acceptance speech.

Oh, and let's not forget the Law & Order tribute award presentation. However it is this photo of Christopher Meloni, Mariska Hargitay and Ice-T in sitting together in the audience that is giving me all the feels today.

"Yes" I am a huge Law & Order: SVU fan and I can't wait for the Season 27 premiere  Thursday September 25th!

Brittany Snow & Malin Akerman

The Hunting Wives on Netflix has been renewed for Season Two...As If! It wouldn't have been, I mean the series finale was a cliffhanger after all.

Not to mention all those hot sex scenes between Malin Akerman and Brittany Snow to spice up already juicy situations they take the show to a whole new level!

Seriously how could this Netflix fan favorite not come back for another season? Even if it's merely to resolve the cliffhanger and tie up the Season One lose ends.

If you haven't partaken in the naughty "Wives" as of yet, I recommend you do.

It's a lot of fun!

I had bunion surgery this past Tuesday and it is quite the painful procedure. While the recouperation period takes a few months, the pain itself does subside at some point during the process.

Presently I am at the "There are not enough pain killers in the world" phase.

Hence my Current Mood is Neely O'Hara (Patty Duke) in Valley of the Dolls. 

For the uninitiated Valley of the Dolls is the film version of Jacqueline Susann's best-selling novel chronicling the rise and fall of three young women in show business.

The "Dolls" of the title are a euphemism for the various prescription pills, including amphetamines and barbiturates.

Get the picture? I'll be on the couch this weekend with my dolls if you have any questions.
