You Get A Broom, Everyone Gets A Broom!

So Witchy
Sandy Zacky

"What good would common sense for it do, 'Cause it's witchcraft wicked witchcraft" - Witchcraft

Seriously Minions there is not common sense when it comes to Witchcraft. But there is common sense when it comes to listening to resident Entertain Me diva Sandy with a "Y" not "E" whilst she belts out her fantastic rendition of it.

She casts her spell every year here, there and everywhere (that's how spells go, they are far reaching ya know?!)

Clean out those bats in your belfry and let Sandy with a "Y" not "E" weave her magic around you mortal soul.

Hey it's better than  being given a hickey by a vampire!

Broom Drop after the jump!

OMG! Halloween Ends Easter Egg

OMG!

What does Easter Egg mean in slang?

In popular culture, an Easter egg, often written in lowercase as easter egg, is an item snuck into a piece of media–including computer software, video games, TV shows, films, and music–meant for the fun of its hiders and finders alike.
So you know the type of Easter Egg I am speaking off I have included it's definition above. well I think you get this one quite clearly based on the meme above.
"Yes" Minions it's the famous Kyle Richards/Taylor Armstrong meme recreated again with Kyle and the woman who plays the mother of the deceased boy Corey Cunningham accidentally kills at the top of Halloween Ends.
This was my Sunday morning OMG moment when it came across my Twitter feed. Someone way more savvy than myself caught it and since David Gordon Green is notorious for inserting these types of things into his Halloween Trilogy, well there you have that...
Hope you enjoy this revelation as much as I did. Have a horrific Sunday!

Satan's Little Helper

A horror sleeper that contains as much wit as gore."

     —Frank Scheck, The Hollywood Reporter

Nine-year-old Douglas Whooly (Alexander Brickel, PALINDROMES) is obsessed with the handheld video game "Satan's Little Helper," and annoyed that the attention of his big sister Jenna (Katheryn Winnick, TV's VIKINGS and BIG SKY) is being distracted by her new boyfriend Alex (Stephen Graham). These two concerns collide on Halloween, when Douglas witnesses a serial killer in a devil mask (Joshua Annex) posing his victims like outdoor All Hallow's Eve displays. Not comprehending how real the carnage is, Douglas becomes this Satan's little helper--and that's very bad news for Alex, for Douglas and Jenna's mom Merrill (Amanda Plummer, PULP FICTION, Netflix's RATCHED), and ultimately for their entire town. A different kind of Halloween horror film, SATAN'S LITTLE HELPER combines grisly killings with a mile-wide streak of savage humor. Written and directed by cult favorite Jeff Lieberman (SQUIRM, BLUE SUNSHINE, JUST BEFORE DAWN), it satirizes the way video games can seize hold of young minds, and is driven by the inability of Douglas (and others) to distinguish the Satan Man's nasty crimes from All Hallow's prankery. Featuring one of Plummer's most eccentric performances, SATAN'S LITTLE HELPER has built a cult following on video and now makes its UNCUT high-definition Blu-ray debut, carrying a bagful of supplementary treats!

17 More Days...Halloween Ends

Laurie Strode
Jamie Lee Curtis

Today is the official opening of Halloween Ends. I however saw it last night at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood upon my return home from Palm Springs.

OK, here's the unpopular opinion I liked Halloween Ends. It was a slow burn character driven film that had the feel and look of the original 1978 version.

I don't wanna give too much away, but the showdown between Michael Myers and Laurie Strode is what it should be and the ending works.

David Gordon Green has crafted something unique here. I'm not sure what people were really expecting, but...it's a cut above, and beyond, quite frankly of all the Halloween cash in sequels that happened before Mr. Green's trilogy.

Halloween is coming, today and in 17 more, are you ready Minions...Boo!

Hump Day & Chill

Jamie Lee Curtis & Andi Matichak

Never did I ever think I would Hump Day & Chill to Halloween Ends starring Jamie Lee Curtis 45 years after I saw the original 1978 version.

Yes Minions I'm that many years old, yet here we are. Thus when I saw this photo straight outta Jamie Lee Curtis' Instagram account it felt, well, more than right. It felt dead on so to speak.

We all know Laurie Strode is the ultimate Final Girl and she is, to my knowledge, the first Final Grandmother.

Honestly I can't wait to Halloween Ends! It's shaping up, for me at least, to be the movie event of 2022.

So let us Hump Day & Chill to the final Halloween movie with everyone's Final Grandmother, Jamie Lee Curtis.

Beware of the Boogeyman...

Audrey Rose

"The skillful direction of Robert Wise supplies ample suspense"

—Ruth Batchelor, Los Angeles Free Press

Master filmmaker Robert Wise began his career with horror classics The Curse of the Cat People and The Body Snatcher for producer Val Lewton. His career would go on to include westerns, thrillers, science fiction and musicals, earning him two academy awards for Best Director. In 1963 he returned to his Lewtonian roots with the classic ghost story The Haunting. In 1977 he returned once more with the supernatural thriller Audrey Rose. All Bill and Jane Templeton wish for is a quiet, peaceful life with their 11-year-old daughter Ivy. But their dreams turn to nightmares as Ivy is besieged first by terrifying 'memories' of events that never occurred... and then by a mysterious stranger who stalks her every move, and claims that Ivy was in fact his daughter in another life. Released in the wake of The Exorcist and The Omen, Audrey Rose is an intelligent, heartfelt drama that approaches its subject with an open mind and seriousness of intent that caught many off guard but typifies Wise's previous genre forays. Sensitively played by a sterling cast at the top of their game, this underseen gem deserves a place on the shelf of any fan of classic horror.

Monday Motivation: Faster Kill Pussycat

Pussycat
Brittany Murphy

I've been on such a ratchet schedule of late, I just ended four brutal days of it. With today being a day off I need some Monday Motivation.

Well the corners of my mind produced one source for it and it's a doozy. For some reason known only to my subconscious the Paul Oakenfold ditty Faster Kill Pussycat featuring the late Brittany Murphy became my earworm today.

This song always gave me life for some reason. I remember when it was played in a spin class I took and it would get my adrenaline pumping and I would always push myself extra hard during it.

So here I am arriving at another Manic Monday in need of some Motivation and look what happened.

Manifest your earworm, like me, and seize the Monday Minions (say that three times fast!)
