2. SIN IS IN! Yup! Ya know, as the saying goes…I got a sweet little fluffly unicorn sitting on one shoulder, and a dominatrix leather-clad-vixen sitting on the other. What can I say? I enjoy duality in everything. Plus, what’s the fun of being good, if you can’t get dirty sometimes?

3. HELL HERE! We will provide the enchantment, and we’ll even provide all the temptation for you in HELL! (Gentlemen only) It’s run by this real bitch of a Drag Queen called Satan…she’s a real pain in my ass, but throws one hell of a party.

Doer of good deeds, Dolly Parton to the rescue! Dyane Smokorowski was named the 14th recipient of the Chasing Rainbows Award. She enjoyed a weekend trip to Dollywood where Dolly herself presented Dyane with the award. Each year, the National Network of State Teachers of the Year (NNSTOY) honors one outstanding educator with this prestigious award. The honoree is someone who “has overcome great obstacles in his or her life, has captured the rainbow and is helping children.” This year’s winner serves as the Instructional Technology Coach for Andover Public Schools in Andover, KS. Smokorowski said, “It is difficult to admit that my personal struggles actually prepared me to be a stronger person today. I wanted to be someone who could inspire others to reach beyond their environments, beyond their extremities, and to do as I have always done—to dream big!” In 2002, Dolly became the first to receive this award from the NNSTOY. The award celebrated her commitment to fostering a love of reading among children through her Imagination Library. Since then, Dolly has presented the award each year. Dyane Smokorowski's name will be added, along with past recipients, to the award displayed in the Chasing Rainbows Museum at Dollywood. Last night Laverne Cox owned the stage for an off the hook Broadway Bares performance held at the Hammerstein Ballroom.

The actress who stars in Orange is the New Black wowed the audience doing a burlesque style dance wearing nipple pasties and a corset.

Way to go Laverne! 

Broadway Bares is a striptease performance that brings together some of Broadway's greatest stars to raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Happy Father's Day to all of you Dads out there! I thought I would honor the day here on Entertain Me with a photo of one of my favorite people, James Durbin, his wife Heidi and their son Hunter and daughter Kinzee.

James as you will recall was a runner-up on season 10 of American Idol.

With two albums under his belt, the head banging Memories of a Beautiful Disaster and the pop oriented Celebrate, James is hard at work on his third outing, and like all of you Durbinators out there I can't wait to hear what he comes up with.
