9 to 5 Plastic Surgeons Pick Jane Fonda

Lily Tomlin, Dolly Parton & Jane Fonda
What a flashback to my Freshman year in High School thrill it was to see the three stars on 9 to 5 - Lily Tomlin, Dolly Parton & Jane Fonda reunited at the 2017 Emmy Awards last night! Oh, those were the days my friend, I'd thought they'd never end...well they really haven't especially for Jane. Lily always the earth mother looks good for her age, Dolly the bigger than life glamour puss looked very Dolly. Jane on the other hand was a whole different story. At 79 years young she showed up looking like she hadn't even hit puberty. Yet still looked like a wonderfully aged star! All kidding aside denizens of Hollywood, if you are going to go under the knife, please bend it like Jane. Don't look like a science fiction experiment, or a freakish version of who you once were. Be like Jane. Look crazy young, and like yourself. Don't distort what the public has liked about you all these years. Nip, tuck and whatever else you have done gracefully, not grotesquely. Who cares if you have work, everyone in Hollywood does it. All the popular people do it. But you'd better know how to get work, that werks! In need of a good plastic surgeon? Who you gonna call? Jane Fonda! 9 to 5 on IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080319/?ref_=fn_tt_tt_1
Smiles Everyone, Smiles! Dolly Parton & Pentatonix
Dolly Parton scores her eighth Grammy with some help from the Pentatonix gang!
World-renowned singer/songwriter/entertainer Dolly Parton continues racking up the honors! In 2014, The Recording Academy inducted Parton's self-penned hit JOLENE into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Now, in 2017, that same song, released as a collaboration with Pentatonix, was awarded a Grammy in the Country Duo/Group Performance category. Watch the collaborative performance here:

"Oh my Lord I am so excited to have won the Grammy with Pentatonix on my old song Jolene," says Dolly Parton. "I am so happy and am so very proud of Pentatonix. The song is one of my favorites. Thanks to the Grammys, but most importantly thanks to all the fans. I love you all."
The award-winning collaboration between Pentatonix and Parton happened through a partnership with Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, which has enjoyed success with both acts in the past with exclusive editions of albums from each. In Parton’s case, the partnership stretches back to her 2009 Backwoods Barbie Collector's Edition project, which was followed by the release of An Evening With…Dolly and became the first Gold album-ever certified by the RIAA for Cracker Barrel Music. That relationship has continued with her latest Dolly Records / RCA Records release Pure & Simple. Released in the summer of 2016, the album – which netted Dolly her first chart-topping album since 1991 – was released in a deluxe Cracker Barrel-exclusive edition that featured live performances of her classic hits “9 To 5” and “Jolene” from the Glastonbury Festival, along with a 48-page ZinePak magazine filled with photos and interviews highlighting memorable stories from Parton. The collaboration is not part of any of the packages, however, is available for digital download here:
“Cracker Barrel is thrilled to have brought these two extraordinary talents together, Dolly Parton and Pentatonix, as part of our Spotlight Music Program for the exclusive collaboration of “Jolene." We share in the celebration of their GRAMMY Award win as they are both a special part of the Cracker Barrel family,” said Don Hoffman, VP of Marketing at Cracker Barrel.
CTK Management CEO Danny Nozell said, "The collaborative video produced by Cracker Barrel between Pentatonix and Dolly has been viewed over 22 million times and has now won a Grammy. Dolly proves, once again, that she is making music that the fans will respond to."
Parton's 2016's Pure & Simple North American Tour was the highest grossing tour of her career, performing over 60 shows.
Well this should be fun! Jane Fonda & Dolly Parton are going to present Lily Tomlin the 53rd SAG Lifetime Achievement Award at the what else? The 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 29th. OK, I don't get the 53 and 23 thing, but I do comprehend why the award is being presented on the SAG Award Show. It really doesn't matter anyway when it brings us 9 to 5 reunion, right?! "Yes" Fonda, Tomlin & Parton have remained close friends all these years since their classic work place comedy 9 to 5 was released December 19th 1980, the day after my Birthday, there's a piece of trivia I bet you didn't know before. I was taken to see it that weekend actually (I wasn't old enough to drive yet and of course you know my Mother wanted to see it too) What a fun movie it was and still is. This will make the SAG Awards a must see for me this year, well at least this part of the show, and I am sure this news has put a smile on all your collective faces, thus I have done my job. Later and have a Groovy Tuesday! For the 411 on the SAG Awards go to: www.sagawards.org/
Network to Develop Slate of Two-Hour Movies With Legendary Country Icon as Producer
Like, who out there does not love Dolly Parton?! Given this news perhaps a live broadcast of the musical "Hello Dolly" should be on the fast track!
NBC has signed a development deal with Dolly Parton, one of the most honored female country musicians of all time and an American icon.
"I am so excited to be involved with my friend Bob Greenblatt, who produced the Broadway version of '9 to 5: The Musical' with me, and my longtime friend and former agent Sam Haskell. We want to create projects for NBC that are both fun and inspirational with a family audience in mind," said Dolly Parton.
In conjunction with production partner Sam Haskell of Magnolia Hill Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television, NBC will develop a slate of two-hour TV movies based on the songs, stories, and inspiring life of Dolly Parton. This extraordinarily prolific country music artist and movie star will produce these projects that are meant to appeal to an inclusive family audience.
"I don't know anyone in the world who doesn't love Dolly Parton, and the idea of developing television movies inspired by her incredible life and the stories she has sung about for decades is exciting to all of us at NBC," said Robert Greenblatt, Chairman, NBC Entertainment." I hope we will create some uplifting movies that the entire family can enjoy together, a genre of programming that still seems largely untapped on television."
Added Jennifer Salke, President, NBC Entertainment: "We all feel so lucky to be in business with Dolly. We're so excited about working with her to infuse these movies with her incredible work ethic and that genuine hopefulness and positive outlook that has been her trademark for years. And you can bet there will be a lot of her music in them too."
