Here we go some Monday Motivation wisdom straight outta the rabbit hole from Alice In Wonderland.

Not sure if this one is really motivating in terms of what it says, but it is more in terms of accepting it as the truth.

Different things happen to us every day. Thus how could we possibly go back to yesterday because it is those things that propel us forward and change us. Now the changes could be for better or worse. The choice is yours, it's all in how you process those things. "Yes" the non-tangible, mystic things that you can't see, yet they affect you on a deep level.

So my take is approach each day with open arms and an outlook of acceptance and allow them entrance and bridle these experiences in and make them submit, you decide how they affect and work for you not the vice versa.

Got it? Now get out there and slay Minions!!!

Monday Motivation

Don't Be Tardy For The Party

Another week, another Monday...."Yes" it's time for some Monday Motivation Minions (say THAT three times fast) 

This is one of those Mondays that I am not sure what could Motivate me. I'm kind of feeling somewhat like I fell down a rabbit hole. Thus today's MM is fantasy, we all need an escape from time to time and what better way to life our spirits and make us smile than some good old fashioned escapism of the mind.

What came to my mind today is already obvious, or it should be given the image accompanying this post. Alice in Wonderland is the rabbit hole I fell down when I woke-up this ayem feeling like Grumpy Cat, because I am in pain am having surgery for it today.

Thus while I am getting my toe broken and reset I will be hanging with Alice and the denizens of Wonderland in the corners of my mind. 

So, what tickles your fantasy fancy today? Inquiring minds want to know...

Don't Come Around Here No More

Wow! Where to being on the death of iconic musician Tom Petty...he has had a huge impact on popular music and culture mere words, especially mine could not do him justice. 

So, I will cover two things he did that meant a lot to me. Let's start with the byline - Don't Come Around Here No More, which is a great song, with an even greater video done with an Alice in Wonderland theme. Casting Petty as the Mad Hatter.

The images from the video and the song have emerged from my subconscious at many points throughout the years.

Another Petty moment that will always be a personal favorite is his duet with Stevie Nicks on Stop Draggin' My Heart Around. These two blend seamlessly and their voices compliment the others to perfection. 

Dear Tom you had an amazing journey and left so many unforgettable memories may you rest in peace.

Romeo, Romeo, That Rogue Romeo, his real name is Kevin Stea he has had quite the ubiquitous career. From being a dance captain/dancer/choreographer on Madonna's "Blonde Ambition" tour - to appearing in one of my favorite movies of all time, "Showgirls".

Kevin wanted to break on through to the other side. and indeed he did. His latest single is "Wonderland" and like Alice it looks like Kevin has fell down a hole of some sort.
