Save The Date

RSVP tomorrow is the Presidential Inauguration of Joe Biden and the first female Vice President ever Kamala Harris. 

"Yes" I will be watching given the Historical context of it, Ms. Harris being the first Veep and all. While we are entering a new era in this country, I for one am moving forward with hope and caution. 

Let's face it, it's going to be a bit before COVID is truly under control given the negligence of the former administration. Also there's been a lot of damage done that will also take time to fix.

2021 will be a year of healing, not "your year" or anyone else's for that matter. It will be the year things move forward and make the next three years more viable for all.

So cheers to Biden/Harris I will be watching this historic event along with the rest of you.

Today's Hump Day & Chill word is meditate. That's correct Minions for the first time in a while I feel calm and hopeful about the world around me. While I know I am a tad late to the table with this, a large part of these good vibes are because it's official Biden/Harris are going to be in office soon!

In fact, they are Time Magazine's Person Of The Year! Imagine that? Well actually you don't have to, it's a reality. We've all collectively got a lot of work to do in these next four years, but at least we can breathe easier, and, well meditate.

Lizzo recently greeted supporters at an event for the Biden-Harris presidential campaign in Detroit, MI. With a mask sporting the word VOTE. Are you sensing a theme in today's post? Good, that's the whole point of it, VOTE!

What's that? Have I voted? Why "yes" I have, weeks ago I filled out my ballot and put it in a drop box. Then I tracked it, and got a text a week later saying my VOTE had been received and counted. Best text I got all month.

I know I've said it before and I'm gonna say it again, and most likely one more time before November 3rd. Today's Monday Motivation is VOTE! VOTE early, VOTE on election day, VOTE by mail or drop your mail in ballot off at an official drop off box. Not a fake GOP one, they send you the official locations near you with your ballot FYI.

Here today to help me motivate you is Taylor Swift. Ms. Swift has recently gotten vocal in a political way (not a music way, she's been doing that for a while.) about her political leanings. 

She recently stood in line and cast her VOTE for Biden/Harris. How do I know who she VOTED for? Because she came out and backed the Biden/Harris ticket publicly, that's how.

Now I'm not trying to motivate anyone to cast their ballot a certain way, OK, yes I F#cking am! Please join Taylor and myself and cast your VOTE for people who are not insane and addicted to Adderall.
