Today I bring you Actress/Director Elizabeth Banks strutting her way to Good Morning America in NYC, looking ravishing in red. Thus bringing us our Seeing Red moment of the day. 

No doubt, actually one hundred percent sure, to promote the Charlie's Angels reboot she Directed and Stars in, with Kristen Stewart and two women that no one knows who the flip are. OK, somebody probably knows who the flip they are, but most of the world at large, meh.

The burning question I have is, who really wants to see this?! While Banks feature Directorial debut Pitch Perfect 2 made moola assuring she would get up to the plate to Direct another movie, I'm not quite sure this was a good choice. But I could be wrong.

Personally I will not be seeing it, unless I get hooked up for a free screening of it.

In the meantime I will chill in my man cave and watch the reruns of the TV Series on ME-TV, thank you very much.

I love when celebrities of the female variety hit the red carpet in, well red. "Yes" you know the old adage when the carpet matches the drapes? Well in this case it's the carpet matching the draping.

One of the key reasons for this is most women look smashing in red. Case in point, one Emma Thompson having some fun at the London gala screening of her latest Late Night, by doing what else? Striking a pose!

Late Night for the record is directed by a friend of mine, Nisha Ganatra - congrats Nisha on scoring, not one, but two great actresses for the project. Thompson, of course and Mindy Kaling who also wrote the screenplay. This is one I want to see based on the pedigree of the talent on and off camera alone.

So today I am Seeing Red and it is not a bad thing. In fact it is having quite the opposite effect and I am feeling groovy 😎

Look out on the street, it's a bird, it's a plane...no it's Lady Gaga in a red dress strutting her stuff in NYC!

It's been hard out there for a pimp to escape the web of Lady Gaga with A Star Is Born opening today. "Yes" I'm going to see it, but I will be there tomorrow at my favorite local theater The Vista in Silverlake, CA.

"No" I will not divulge what time I will be there, it's a secret, I have plenty of stalkers already Thank You very much.

Time to get back on topic, or is it???

Honestly with Gaga's opus scoring a 93% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes how can you go wrong with this timeless tale hitting theaters here, there and everywhere, I ask you? I know none of you will answer, but you can't say I didn't try!

Since the Venice Film Festival happened the WWW has been flooded with impressions from it. This is one I found particularly striking, call it seeing red.

Why look it's Dakota Johnson & Tilda Swinton sauntering down the red carpet for a screening of their horror flick Suspiria. Look how red they both are, they match the carpet, but what about the drapes?!

Perhaps it's because there will be blood in the horror remake. Or maybe it's because they are red is the color of passion and they are both feeling quite heated. Then there is always the "just because" factor, you know, because they can and wanted to draw as much attention to themselves and their project.

Whatever! It's all fun and games until your film is poorly received, which luckily for this twosome it wasn't.

Off I go, I am seeing red at present of a totally different nature...

Seeing Red

Just Like Fire

Usually the term "Seeing Red" is reserved to describe the emotion of anger. Well T.G.I.F! I am turning the phrase on it's ass today. That's correct peeps today the phrase for the fired up shall refer to one Ms. Jessica Chastain.

First of all there is nothing like a dame, especially one with fiery red hair. Then pair that with a complimentary red dress and Booyah! 

Chastain who is currently portraying the adult version of Beverly Marsh in IT: Chapter 2, looks absolutely stunning in both hues of red. 

For the record I thought IT should have had a title change and been called shIT. "Yes" I found the movie tedious and not scary at all. It was more like a coming of age story than a horror film. Which is fine if that's what I was expecting when I went to see it, but I was expecting a grade "A" horror flick. You know, what the studio advertised.

Thus this audience member was left cold by IT. Fingers crossed the sequel does better in the scare department.

Seeing Red (Dress)

This ended up being the week of "seeing red" twice here on Entertain Me. While black is my favorite color, red is a close second. The main reason I like black is it looks good on me and goes with everything. I wished I could rock red nearly as well.

All this being stated Jennifer Hudson looks amazing in this red number she is sporting out and about in London. But WTF? with the fuzzy slippers Miss Thang? 

While I am not a fashion plate, those slippers are silly with a dress that compliments you to perfection and vice versa.  

Sometimes we simply can't have it all. A pair of black shoes, flats would have complimented this dress nicely. Hey, I would never sentence a woman to heels as I know I could never sport them myself.

Moving on, Jennifer you look absolutely fabulous, keep on doing you.
