With a new album out This Is What The Truth Feels Like Mama Gwen Stefani is making a bold confession about sexuality.

"I would be blessed with a gay son," she told Pride Source. "You know that I would feel blessed about that. I just want my boys to be happy and healthy, and I just ask God to guide me every day to be a good mother because it is not an easy job."

Can I get an "Amen?" Can you believe she actually drew criticism for letting her sons paint their nails?! Seriously everyone get a fucking life! If you focused your concern on what you were doing, instead of tearing apart others the world would be a better place. 

Let's spread love and acceptance, rather than hate and fear. If we did imagine the possibilities it would create in the world?

Whatever Easter Sunday means to you, why not try following Gwen or someone like her as an example?

Make it the day you reflect on yourself and actually think about how you can be a better person and treat your fellow man with more compassion. The world is an inclusive place. Start living in it rather than fighting it.

The rumors are true most grown ass women have a gay male best friend. In honor of this I am posting an adorable photo of Glee and Scream Queens star Lea Michele and her GBF Jonathan Groff, who also appeared on Glee as Jesse St. James snuggling in bed together. 

Michele posted the photo on Instagram with the caption: "And suddenly all is right"

Can I get an Awwwwwwwwwww???

Jonathan wrote this about he and Lea's deep bond in Teen Vogue:

"Lea Michele and I have shared some pretty unique experiences since we met. We've simulated sex more than 1,000 times onstage in Spring Awakening. We've performed everything from show tunes to 'Like a Virgin' on Glee. I've watched her sing for the President and accept Billboard's first-ever Triple Threat Award, and I've seen her laugh so hard that she peed her pants,"

Feel "So Alive" & Get "Stripped" With Daniel Ash

For over 35 years, Daniel Ash (Bauhaus, Tones On Tail, Love & Rockets) has been one of the seminal figures in alternative music; whether for his wildly experimental guitar playing or for his sardonic vocal stylings, or perhaps even for throwing in a bit of saxophone. Having defied categorization by fusing elements of electronica with punk, goth, and glam rock, Ash has earned the status of a living legend. 

Stripped (Main Man Records) is Ash's first studio album since 2002. The album features all "re-takes" done in a style that resembles dub-step, variations of EDM, Atmospheric and Ambient "A-La Brian Eno Meets Bowie". Avid fans may recognize the songs but in reality they are at times completely different in a genetic recombination passing through a centrifuge

The biggest commercial hit by Love and Rockets was "So Alive" which in itself is a masterpiece. the record went to #3 on the Billboard Pop charts. Legendary producer of the original John Fryer was tapped for the new version of "So Alive" along with "Love Me" and the Bauhaus classic, "Slice Of Life."

Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors aired on NBC in 2015, inspiring millions of viewers with its story of faith and family. My buddy Bam Bam Stegall who is married to one of my dear friends Karen Castricher-Stegall recently did an interview with Hired Gun Director Fran Strine. The documentary had it's premiere at SXSW.

This piece of truth is finding a common bond between regular working-class 'Joe's' and the working-class musician. It's pretty much a rock scene take on 20 Feet From Stardom starring my friend Darlene Love.

I love music and can't wait to see this Bam Bam!

"I'm Sick Of Your Lip" Jillian Barberie

Jillian Barberie is one of my favorite people. She was generous enough to grant me an interview when she was hosting Good Day LA and I was just starting my writing career. So off I trotted to the GDLA green room at FOX she walked in and couldn't have been more gracious.

Sadly she is no longer on the local morning talk show, and needless to say I have stopped watching. But I have kept up with Jillian on Facebook and Twitter, naturally. 

For those of you who may be unfamiliar with this dynamo here is her intro quote from her Facebook page:

"No hair extensions & my boobs are real. Take THAT LA! Oh & I'm in lotsa TV, movies & stuff."

Recently she lost a chunk of her lip to a Cocker Spaniel, and needed 10 stitches to fix the gash...Yikes!

Jillian, ever the animal lover and animal rights activist had this to say about it:

"Well, Last night (this morning) my friends dog took a big chunk out of my lip. 10 stitches later...Oh my beautiful face! It has been ruined!! LOL (kidding) 

Surgeon said I'll be fine. I have other puncture wounds I didn't know I had because Doctor gave me something called Norco. 


BTW: The dog wasn't being aggressive. As you know, I am a dog lover and took the risk. He had just lost his best friend last week, I was holding him and CRUNCH! There goes my beautiful, glamorous, sultry pouty lip! Too much I love you. LOL. Really, I'm gonna be fine."

Word on the Internet is that Jillian's sultry pouty lip is ready for it's comeback!
