There are a lot of steaming craters on the big island of Hawaii I tell you what. In fact I invaded many yesterday, hey that's what craters are for.
After all craters are hot, come in a chain and a rim no less...Ya know all about rimming craters, don't you???
One can never get enough of em'. Here is a photo of a big gaping one. I love those the best.
Steamy craters are a dish best served hot!
Hey it's Saturday, and this dude is coming on inferno style, serving you crater realness and euphemisms.
You know you love it...
PS Craters exploded!!! LOL!

A wonderfully old-fashioned monster movie like they used to make monster movies--chills, chuckles and a couple of good screams
—Paul Beutel, Austin American-Statesman
There's a hairy humanoid beast lurking in the Louisiana swamps, but only trapper Joe Canton (Jack Elam, ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST) has seen it and lived to tell the tale, and the other residents of Oil City, Louisiana don't talk about it. But that's not about to stop intrepid grad students Pahoo (Dennis Fimple, HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES) and Rives (John David Carson, EMPIRE OF THE ANTS), who are determined to track down the Bigfoot-like creature. Defying local sheriff Billy Carter (Bill Thurman, THE LAST PICTURE SHOW), the duo trek deep into the wilds of Black Lake, and a series of frightening encounters make it clear the monster is no mere legend. Following in the (big) footsteps of THE LEGEND OF BOGGY CREEK and similar docudramas, 1976's CREATURE FROM BLACK LAKE is a fictional Sasquatch saga, albeit one inspired by real reports. With a colorful cast, also including Dub Taylor (THE WILD BUNCH), and plenty of rural atmosphere courtesy of cinematographer Dean Cundey (HALLOWEEN, JURASSIC PARK), scripter Jim McCullough Jr.--who also co-stars--and director Joy Houck Jr. bring touches of humor and humanity that complement the mystery of the monster, and the terror of its attacks. A longtime late-night TV favorite, CREATURE FROM BLACK LAKE now roars onto DVD with a boatload of special features!

Christina Applegate David Faustino & Katey Sagal |
Christina Applegate received her star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame this past Monday. It was her first public appearance since being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. This hot on the November 17th season three premiere of her Netflix show Dead To Me.
Here she is pictured with her Married With Children co-stars Katey Sagal & David Faustino. In a fitting tribute to a wonderful person and a great career.
I remember attending a taping during the 11th and last season of Married With Children. They were such pros at that point they shot the half hour show in an hour (trust, that is fast, most sitcoms take three - four hours to be filmed.)
What fun that was! I also encountered her once at the now defunct hot spot Union on the Sunset Strip when she was dating Tony Ward. She was lovely.
So today we are going to Hump Day & Chill by paying tribute to Christina Applegate, her amazing career and even more amazing courage.
Tell me your favorite thing Christina Applegate has done, aside from Married With Children. OK, I'll go first The Sweetest Thing with Cameron Diaz & Selma Blair...

In 1968, visual effects pioneer Douglas Trumbull (The Andromeda Strain, Close Encounters of the Third Kind) contributed to the ground-breaking special photographic effects of Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey. Four years later, he stamped his own indelible mark on the science fiction genre with his mesmerizing directorial debut - Silent Running. In the not-so-distant future, Earth is barren of all flora and fauna, with what remains of the planet's former ecosystems preserved aboard a fleet of greenhouses orbiting in space. When the crews are ordered to destroy the remaining specimens, one botanist, Freeman Lowell (Bruce Dern, The 'Burbs), rebels and flees towards Saturn in a desperate bid to preserve his own little piece of Earth that was, accompanied only by the ship's three service robots. Featuring a captivating central performance by Dern, visual effects that rival anything in 2001 and a powerful ecological message, Silent Running is a haunting and prescient sci-fi classic that resonates even more strongly today than it did at the time of its original release.
I had some time yesterday so I decided to Netflix & Chill and watched the Lindsay Lohan vehicle Falling For Christmas.
Lindsay is back Minions! She doesn't make one false move and wins the audience over with her completely charming and nuanced performance as heiress Sierra Belmont.
To paraphrase what Meryl Streep said about working with her in Prairie Home Companion - she is completely fluid and alive when she is on screen.
Here are a couple of random thoughts I had while viewing it:
Isn't Lindsay's BF in the movie gay? (spoiler alert, turns out he is!)
Hold my beer I want 6 people to dress me every day and feed me caviar
When Lindsay sings along to Jingle Bell Rock in the car, nice homage to Mean Girls
Oh, her hair is so shiny
Cord Overstreet is pretty darned cute, swoon!!!
Lindsay has some bad ass rich girl with amnesia skills when she comes up with a fundraiser for Jake's (Cord) lodge
No happily ever after is complete without a horse drawn carriage
