"The Very Thought Of You"

54 Years Strong!
Sandy & Ron Zacky
"I see your face in every flower, Your eyes in stars above, It's just the thought of you,
The very thought of you, my love" - The Very Thought Of You

Happy Valentine's Day! Even if you aren't in a relationship this is a day to celebrate love, love, love...and we all have someone, or something that is special to us.

As you know Entertain Me likes to celebrate this day with it's resident chanteuse Sandy with a "Y" not "E" Zacky. She is an expert on L-O-V-E as this past November, she and her husband Ron celebrated their 54th Wedding Anniversary!!!

Imagine finding a love like that, that is cause for celebration, no? So pop the champagne and we will! With Sandy with a "Y" not "E" singing The Very Thought Of You from her acclaimed CD One Olive or Two.

The pop hit was originally sung by Al Bowlly in 1934

Today give the tip of the hat to the best emotion of all and let someone know you love them during these trying times.

As Sandy with a "Y" not "E" says to all of you: "I Wish You Love!"

Happy 53rd Sandy Zacky!

Sandy & Ron
53 Years!
Today is resident Entertain Me chanteuse Sandy with a "Y" not "E" Zacky's 53rd Wedding Anniversary to her husband Ron, Zacky of course.

No they didn't move to the Hills of Beverly, but they did land in the Hills of Sherman Oaks, CA

53 years of being married and still in love. How many people in Hollywood do you know can say that?!

So here is a song by one of my most awesome friends to celebrate the day. It's titled: You'd Be So Nice To Come Home To originally sung by Frank Sinatra from her jazz hot CD, One Olive Or Two

Think of it as the day before Thanksgiving celebration of love!

Happy Hump Day before TG, woot!

Sandy Zacky "I Wish You Love"

50 Plus Years Of Marriage: Sandy & Her Husband Ron Taken On Her Birthday This Year
"I wish you bluebirds in the spring, to give your heart a song to sing,
And then a kiss, but more than this, i wish you love" - I Wish You Love

Nothing says love like a fifty plus year marriage and that's what Entertain Me's resident chanteuse Sandy with a "Y" not "E" Zacky has.

In 2007 Sandy with her singing partner Mike Clifford recorded an album Love is Everything. A compilation of songs about what else? Love! Including a duet by herself & Clifford on the title track and a solo rendition by Ms. Z of I Wish You Love.

Sandy has this to say to all of you on this Valentine's Day: "Whatever your plans and wherever you are I wish you all love, health and happiness, Happy Valentine's Day, Love Sandy."

Thanks Sandy, back at ya!

Chanteuse Sandy Zacky Speaks Out About Parkinson's

Sandy Zacky
Resident "Entertain Me" Chanteuse, Sandy Zacky recently spoke out about the ravages of Parkinson's when the news about Linda Ronstadt broke out. Linda was one of Sandy's favorite artists -

That being said Sandy also has a lot of first hand experience with Parkinson's, her husband, Ron has it as well.

She speaks so eloquently about Linda losing her the gift of her singing voice as well as about her husband Ron losing his speaking voice to his horrible disease that I found it worth re-posting.

Our voice, whether it be singing or speaking is the most important thing we have as human beings while we are alive. Either of them is a terrible thing to lose. Here is a re-print of Ms. Zacky's statement:

"Just heard about Linda Ronstadt, one of the finest singers in my estimation, ever. She can sing all genres so well. I just heard her the other day on Sirrius radio singing some songs from The American Songbook. It was beautifully done, I was totally impressed with her interpretation and vocals.

                                                Linda Ronstadt "Blue Bayou"

My husband has suffered from Parkinson's disease for several years now. It is a terrible disease that robs an individual of so much but most of all the essence of who they have always been. My husbands voice has weakened greatly over the years. Just his ability to converse can be difficult for him at times. I can only imagine as a singer how awful it must be to not be able to share the extraordinary gift that she had so long shared with those of us who so enjoyed her music.

My best to her and I pray she finds some joy in the love that is sent her way from her devoted fans"

Sandy & Her Husband Ron

Very well put Ms. Z.
