Sunday Funday: It's Emmy Time!

Hello Emmys...

Well it's that time again Emmy Sunday. Since most of us spent the last year and 1/2 watching a lot of television I am willing to bet there are many of you out there who have seen most, or all of the nominated shows.

Translation: You have favorites in every category.

Here are my top two favorite picks for today's to do: Kate Winslet Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for Mare of Easttown and Jean Smart Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Hacks.

Sunday Funday: E! People's Choice Awards

Happy Sunday Funday! Tonight on E! The People's Choice Awards airs, as in game on, Minions! We could all use a little respite from the chaos that surrounds us and this award show is always informal and fun.

My only complaint is, even thought it doesn't detract from the levity of the event, you always know who the winner is before they announce it. They are the person or persons actually in the audience. 

The list of nominees is way to long to post, but I have poste the movie of 2020 nominees and a link where you can go vote for your favorite. Sunday Funday indeed!!!

While I know Halloween is over, I am in mourning for it at present. "Yes" I am missing the spirit of the season, not to mention the horror movie marathons that were happening on a constant basis.

So with one last gasp I wanted to trot out one of my favorite celebrity costumes this year. Behold Gig Hadid in a flawlessly executed "The Mask" costume. You remember "The Mask" don't you?

In case you don't it was a  1994 action comedy film, based on a series of comic books published by Dark Horse Comics. Starring Jim Carrey and a then unknown Cameron Diaz.

They played it once when I was on Jury Duty for us while we were waiting in the holding area. Not a bad movie, not a great one, but it was better than actually having to serve on a Jury.

Kudos to Ms. Hadid! She's putting some of the Funday into Sunday, indeed...

Just Because it's Sunday Funday, Just Because it's Paris Fashion Week & Just Because it's all about Vivienne Westwood darling, here is blonde bombshell Ms. Pamela Anderson!!!

Pam is looking chic, sleek and in the cut in what I presume may be a Vivienne Westwood creation, or not, the blurb did not say who she was wearing, it should have damn it! Well whoever she has on she looks amazing and ready to go full frontal fashion on any challenger's booty.

I once interviewed Ms. Anderson for Instinct Magazine for the now defunct "Chick We'd Switch For" feature. She is one of the nicest, funniest not to mention savvy individuals I have ever met. Quite gracious and down to earth too.

Thus here we are on this Sunday Funday with some fun and some sun. Whatever, enjoy!

It's Sunday Funday, and what could be more fun than Cher kicking off her Here We Go Again tour at the Germain Arena is Estero, Florida? I ask you, "yes" I am asking you, gimme gimme an answer before midnight please. That like Cher's tour is an ABBA reference.

As you might recall Cher made quite the splash in the sequel to Mama Mia! this past summer in Mama Mia! Here We Go Again. It was a smash resulting in her topping the charts with an album of ABBA covers called, what else? Dancing Queen!!!

Of course a tour of her singing those covers amongst other hits was inevitable, thus Here We Go Again. Which is also quite cheeky considering how many times Cher went on something known as "The Farewell Tour"...Here we go again, indeed!

Bend it like Cher today and truly make your Sunday a Fun Day!!!

Just Because...George & Amal Clooney

Just Because it's the day after the Royal Wedding, Just Because it's Sunday Funday & Just Because they looked so amazing here are, IMHO the best dressed couple who attended the wedding of the century George & Amal Clooney.

"Wow" was the word that came to mind when Amal showed up in this stunning yellow number that complimented her to perfection. It was a bold choice of color and hot damn, she worked it!

She also had a great accessory by her side, her husband George, ya know that Clooney guy. Who wisely ditched traditional black formal wear and went with a tailored gray number that completed his wife's out of the box color choice to perfection.

What's that you say?! "Yes" I did see the actual wedding, it was lovely. Honestly, we all need someone to look at us the way Harry looks at Meghan, the love those two have for  one another is obvious. It was the perfect anecdote to all the hate going on in the world around us to be reminded that love can, and will conquer all.

On that note, Michael has left the building...

Just Because it's Monday, Just Because she's Rey in the Star Wars movies & Just Because girl can really werk a tuxedo, I present this image of Daisy Ridley.

I actually have a confession to make. I have not seen Daisy as Rey in the latest crop of Star Wars movies, nor do I intend to. They hold zero interest for me. Fact: Even though I know who she is I actually had to look up the name of her character in the movies for this post. There you have that. This being out to the world now, I must say she does look pretty effing amazing rocking a tux at the Empire Awards.

Thus I felt this image was a perfect launch to Monday. 

Sunday Funday has passed the weekend is finished and women looking smashing in a tux is the the new black.
