Me Want Cookie!!!

Eat Me!
Natalie Portman

"C is for cookie and cookie is for me!" - Cookie Monster

Guess what today is Minions? Go ahead, take a guess! The quote above straight outta the Cookie Monster and Natalie Portman taking a big bite outta one should be all the clues you need.

"Yes" it's National Cookie Day...Yay!

What is your favorite cookie to imbibe? Mine is pretty basic Chocolate Chip. This being stated when a CC cookie is done well, well there is nothing like it and it's chocolate-ly deliciousness.

Being it's the Holiday Season I'm sure we will all get the chance to eat copious amounts of these sweet delicacies.

The trick? Is to keep breathing, it's always about the breath.

Film Buff Friday: It's A Wonderful Life

Being as that we are in the midst of the countdown till Christmas and such I thought it would be fitting to recommend the Holiday classic It's A Wonderful Life starring the legendary James Stewart. Directed by the equally legendary Frank Capra, "Yes" legends walk among us.

While I don't want to say too much about the film I would encourage those uninitiated to watch it. There's a reason it has endured since 1946. It's themes and magic are simply timeless.

I am going to leave you now in the very capable, not to mention knowledgeable hands of my buddy Jay Jacobson with a link to his musings about IAWL on his classic movie blog.

22 days to go Minions!

Michael's Musings

"Look like the innocent flower, But be the serpent under it" - Lady Macbeth, Macbeth

OK, Minions it's the first column of the Christmas season and I kick it off with a cynical quote from Macbeth. Go figure...really I mean it go figure. I'm going to leave it here and let you draw your own conclusions as to the why.

Yeah, analyze this Sigmund Freud, I'll never spill, buckle up and strap one on here we go...

If you can't trust a woman with her own body, why would you trust her with a baby???

Without getting paid would you get up and do what you do every day for a living?

Damn! I'm really asking the tough questions today, perhaps I need to lighten up, or not...

The season finale of Chucky was insane! In a good way!

Please allow children to believe in Santa Claus. You believe in essential oils and no one is ruining that for you.

What's on your Amazon wish list?

A haunting tale of deceit and tragedy...

Pepperoni Jalapeno is the best pizza, prove me wrong

Woman Crush of the Week - Kirsten Dunst for her amazing performance in Jane Campion's The Power of the Dog

Don't use drugs or alcohol to solve your problems, use them because they're fun!

Hump Day & Chill

It's December 1st Minions and you know what that means?! The countdown to Christmas has begun!

Thus to kick off the few remaining days until then I thought today we would Hump Day & Chill to Sandy with a "Y" not "E" Zacky's rendition of the Holiday classic White Christmas.

As you may or may not recollect Sandy is the resident diva here at Entertain Me and every year I commemorate the Holiday Season with her crooning of this classic song.

So what are you waiting for? Michael says: Kick back, relax and Hump Day & Chill to Sandy with a "Y" not "E" Zacky and White Christmas by hitting the video below.

Holiday Cheers!

He Always Comes Back!

There's never such a thing as too much Chucky. "Yes" the day prior to tonight's season one finale the announcement has been made that the doll with the killer smile is coming back for a second season.

This should come as no surprise to anyone given the shows killer (pun intended) ratings that have grown with the passing weeks.

I am quite excited to see how they wrap this season and what direction the show will be headed into the next.

While I know the series could not exist without the Child's Play movies, which to me are hit and miss affairs. The TV series is WAY better than all of them combined.

A Plethora Of Cucky's
& Jennifer Tilly

It truly has earned it's certified fresh rating of 90% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Tonight's finale is an hour and a half as opposed to the usual hour. "Yes" more Chucky for your Bucky (groan) hey someone had to say it, and that someone was...

Monday Motivation

One Last Time
Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett

Last night was quite the surreal viewing experience watching Tony Bennet/Lady Gaga special One Last Time: An Evening With Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga.

If you saw it you get what I'm saying, if not well here's the 411 on why the evening was completely unexpected and Monday Motivation, Hell motivation for every day of your life.

Tony Bennett at 95 blew the roof off of Radio City Music Hall. I was astounded, while I was 100% positive he would not suck, I really did not expect him to be at the height of his singing powers.

His swan song rendition of "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" was my personal favorite of the evening.

It was really quite supernatural seeing Bennett, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's effortlessly own every song to note and word perfect perfection.

So there you have it, your Monday Motivation mission is to bend it like Tony Bennett. He is proof that anything is possible!!!
