Getting Random With Will Bethencourt

Will, or Willy?
Will Bethencourt
Actor/Producer Will Bethencourt is making his Vegas debut this weekend in Puppetry of the Penis at Harry Mohney's Erotic Heritage Museum. You read that correctly, Will is going to delve into the justified and ancient art of penis origami for your viewing pleasure. Sharing is caring after all.

Lucky us, Will is not shy about getting naked for an audience. I first saw him in a production of Richard Greenberg's Pulitzer Prize winning play, the baseball drama, Take Me Out. He gave a really good performance as Kippy Sunderstrom, and, yes he was naked too.

Will also served as Producer on the upcoming movie The Happys starring Janeane Garofalo. I asked Mr. Bethencourt to give a response to ten random things I threw at him on the weekend of his full frontal Vegas extravaganza! Here they are, and here are his responses!
Let's Get Animal
Photo: Spiffy Cliffy Photography
1) Vegas: Is Cirque du Soleil ever gonna do a Madonna tribute show?
2) Flexible: Makes it easier.
3) Bears: Yes, please.
4) Flying Purple People Eaters: They just wanna rock! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
5) David Bowie: "Life is a pop of the cherry when you're a boy..."
6) Penis: ...rules the world.
7) Lasso: Apso
8) Puppetry: Remember when Pinocchio goes to Pleasure Island? Where can I buy a ticket?
9) Length: About 50 minutes?
10) Full Frontal Nudity: Instead of guns and religion = Utopia!

Thanks for playing with me Will and break a...ummmmmmm, best wishes this weekend!

Look At Me It's...Sandra Dee's?

Like A Virgin?
Vanessa Hudgens & Julianna Hough

"Look at me, I'm Sandra Dee, Lousy with virginity
Won't go to bed 'til I'm legally wed
I can't; I'm Sandra Dee"
- Sandra Dee, Grease

With the January 31st date of Grease: Live! drawing near, I spied this cool photo of our latest incarnations of Sandy & Rizzo out promoting the Really Big Shoo in New York City, NYC, The Big Apple, take a bite!

My gut instinct says this production is going to be a smashing entity all on it's own terms and I really can't wait for it to air.

I am especially excited to see my High School Musical crush, Vanessa Hudgens portray Rizzo! While I am sure Julianne Hough will be fine as Sandy, who doesn't like the bad girls best?

Let's face it, there can only be one goody two shoes in da house!

"Hey Fongool, I'm Sandra Dee!"

Glenn Frey, Hotel California

R.I.P. Glenn Frey
"Seems like God is trying to put together a hell of an All Star Band in Heaven" - Jackie Kilmer

Yes, it does, at least cancer was not the culprit this time. I remember the Eagles in my formative years. Hotel California was like an anthem for me growing up. It was part of the mythology that made me want to move West when I got older, an I did.
Here is some 411 on Glenn, may he Rest In Peace -
Glen Frey, co-founder and guitarist for the Eagles, has died ...
The cause of death was a combination of complications from rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis, and pneumonia.
Frey had been battling intestinal issues for months and had surgery in November. We're told in the last few days his condition took a turn for the worse. He died in New York City.
Glenn co-wrote and sang on most of the Eagles hits, including "Take It Easy," "Tequila Sunrise," "Lyin' Eyes," and "Heartache Tonight," to name a few. He also co-wrote "Hotel California" and "Desperado" with Don Henley and took home 6 Grammys with the band.
After the Eagles' 1980 breakup, Glenn launched a successful solo career, recording numerous hits ... most notably "The Heat Is On" and "You Belong to the City."

Critics, Boobies & Hayden Panettiere

The Mighty Hayden Panetierre

As well all know by now, Hayden Panettiere of the hit series Nashville has been, like her alter ego on the show Juliette Barnes, suffering from postpartum depression.

While this is not something to laugh at, it looks like Hayden is on the upswing. She made a rare red carpet appearance looking radiant for the 2016 Critic's Choice Awards. She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress on a Drama Series

OK, while I should not make light of this, when we all look at this image we are all collectively thinking: Boobies, boobies, boobies!

Seriously, WOW! Hayden is a petite young woman standing a mighty 5 feet. Looks like despite all of her rounds in the postpartum ring, birth becomes her.

Cheers Ms. Panettiere, to your health, happiness and well deserved nomination!

Little Mermaid, Justin Bieber

Ariel The Mermaid Is My Half Sister
Justin Bieber

Yesterday in spin class while the song Sorry by Justin Bieber was propelling our motion along. The instructor says: "How many of you in here would date Justin Bieber?"

Oh, is that what you would call it? I certainly wouldn't want to date him because I really don't need to hear him talk. Who would date him?! I wouldn't want to have a  conversation with him, but with his supple ass I'd certainly want to do something to him...and then be done.

Then I come home to see J. Bieb in a towel, not in all his glory, like in those recent vacation images that surfaced (nice package boy) with Little Mermaid hair. My moniker for that purple gray color that's going around.

Still, doable, but Daddy says change it back to platinum, now!

Gillian Anderson, Moist

I Bring You Moisture
Gillian Anderson

It's no mystery the X-Files with Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny is back. Yes, geeks Scully & Mulder together again!

Gillian has always been one of my favorite actresses. Quite versatile, with amazing presence and talent. I will never forget when I saw her as Lily Bart in Terence Davies adaptation of the Edith Wharton novel The House of Mirth, which was a house of anything but FYI. She was riveting!

Feast your eyes on Ms. Anderson promoting the X-Files recently at Fox's TCA panel in Pasadena.

Educated guess, she is moist for some cryptic reason. Perhaps to be deciphered in an upcoming X-Files episode.

The Truth Is Out There, but guess what? You'll never ever find it....

T.G.I.F! Sheba Baby!

All Hail Pam Grier, the Queen of Kicking Ass!!!

Sheba, Baby [Blu-ray + DVD] coming February 9
Fresh off her career defining roles for Jack Hill in Coffy and Foxy Brown, Pam Grier continued her domination of the Blaxploitation genre, in cult filmmaker William Girdler's (The Manitou, Abby) 'Sheba, Baby'...
Grier plays Sheba Shayne, a private eye based in Chicago who is called to her hometown to stop the local mob boss (played by "that bad D'Urville Martin", Black Caesar, Dolemite) from moving in on her father's loan business. Aided by her father's partner, Brick Williams (Austin Stoker, Assault on Precinct 13, Battle for the Planet of the Apes), Sheba finds out that the violent thugs aren't going go away without a fight. Car bombs, gun fights and boat chases ensue whilst armed with her curves, street smarts and a .44, Sheba is in for a bloodbath!
Grier would appear in three Blaxploitation classics in 1975 (the others were Bucktown and Friday Foster), where she was at the top of her game and genre, with the Los Angeles Times calling her "cool, tough and glamorous - a female fantasy Wonder Woman", further cementing her status as the first female action star.
