Feeling nostalgic? Well after seeing this photo I am remembering the 80's and how it was a more simple time and definitely more fun than the current state of the world (not to mention how good the music was.)

Here we have Cher, Sandy Dennis, Karen Black and Director Robert Altman on the set of the movie Come Back To The 5 & Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean. 

It was a filmed version of the stage play they all three appeared together in under Altman's direction on Broadway. 

There was a certain magic about this time period in cinema and this was a true example of independent filmmaking.

I remember liking it immensely, this being stated It's time for me to revisit it as it I haven't seen it since 1982 when it came out.

Kesha is having a great run presently with her hit album Period and a sold out tour, it's the comeback story everyone loves.

Today however we are going to Hump Day & Chill to her being an outspoken individual with a wicked sense of humor.

Seems like the Cretins in the White House decided to use her song Blow for a video of bombings. Yep, pretty repellent.

The Rose

I took this photo of a random rose laying at the side of a pond one day before yoga at The Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

What's really great about this is the many thoughts, feelings and stories it evokes.

For me it brings to mind the famous image of Ophelia from Shakespeare's Hamlet floating down the river in the painting by John Everett Millais.

That work of art always brings me a feeling of peace and tranquility.
