"Empire" Tie One On With Cookie Tonight!

Cookie Wants Nookie!
OK, I admit while I had heard of the hottest new show to hit the airwaves, Empire, I never tuned in until Courtney Love guest starred on Episode six of the series. I am a big Hole fan (insert joke here.)

Damn it! From that point on I had yet another TV show I was addicted to. So, yes, of course I watched the first five episodes prior ON DEMAND and have watched every episode since.

Cookie Lyon, played by the awesome Taraji P Henson, is my spirit animal...I would not dream of missing tonight's two hour finale!

Empire, Empire, Empire - click your heels together three times and tie one on this Hump Day during the season one send off.

I came across the rules for a clever drinking game any Empire fan will L-O-V-E, thanks US Weekly for this you guys are da bomb!

You should take a drink…

1. Whenever Cookie offers up her nookie.
2. Whenever there’s a famous guest star.
3. Whenever Hakeem throws a bitch fit.
4. Whenever Cookie looks fierce in fur.
5. Whenever an artist threatens to leave Lucious for Beretti.
6. Whenever someone mentions the name “Bunkie,” because it is a phenomenal name.
7. Whenever someone references “being a Lyon.”
8. Whenever Jamal wears a ridiculous scarf.
9. Whenever you find yourself secretly crushing on Jamal despite his ridiculous scarf.
10. Whenever Porsha is the perfect sidekick.

Scoop! "Revenge" For Courtney Love

Courtney Love On Empire
Is anyone out there loving Courtney's return to acting? I know I am!

Starting with her story arc on the final season of Sons of Anarchy to this weeks stint as a fading rock star saved from obscurity on the hot, hot, hot break out show of the season Empire.

Up next for Ms. Love? She will be appearing on one of her favorite shows Revenge.

That's right the rocker loves the show and met with the creators of it and they came up with an awesome role for her, naturally.

It's always riveting when Courtney appears on the big and small screen. After a quite lack luster season I am finally looking forward to seeing Revenge again!

It's All About The Hef, Hugh Hefner That Is

Tony Palmer's 1973 Film About Hugh Hefner, The Founder and
Editor of Playboy, to be released on October 21

Hugh Hefner & Playboy are pretty tame by today's sex tape society, but he will always have a place in the history of the world as a pioneer & visionary -

The quote below that states this little opus is as "distasteful as one might have expected" clearly reviewed it in 1973 when it was released, raise a glass here's some ass!

"A brilliant, thoroughly good humoured and subtle dissection of an extraordinary man
by a master film maker." - The Times
This 1973 documentary by the award-winning director Tony Palmer shone a light on the multi-millionaire Hugh Hefner and his Playboy empire. It gave Hefner the opportunity to tell his story and, of course, it offended the usual suspects - Mary Whitehouse, the Daily Express and many more. The film charts Hefner's rise from a small-time publisher to Playboy becoming one of the world's best known brands.

As Hefner says: "We had no money at all, and I mean literally no money. I doubt that any major magazine in our time has ever been started with as little initial investment. My own investment in Playboy was $600, all of it borrowed. The entire enterprise is now valued, in 1973, at something around $200 million."

He continues: "The real essence of Playboy was trying to put not just sex, but the whole notion of play and pleasure, back into the American concept of living. And that proved to be a little more revolutionary than I realized when I started."

The 53-minute film will be available on DVD on October 21st via MVD Entertainment Group.

"As distasteful as one might have expected."
The Daily Express

"It blatantly flouted TV's legal obligation not to offend against good taste and decency"
Mary Whitehouse
