Sneak Peek, Tonight's Fashion Police

Who They'll Be Wearing Tonight on Fashion Police
Photo: Michael Shinafelt
Ever wondered what goes into making something as hilarious and off the wall as Fashion Police on E! ???  Well wonder no more, yeah, I am hear to spill some fun!

Tonight's claws come out for the SAG Awards. Meow! Yesterday I arrived at E! Studios checked in and waited for my friend and awesome publicist Ken Phillips to come fetch me, his client Margaret Cho, is one of the sheriffs on duty who calls you out for what you do or don't wear.

Ken took me on a little tour which included a trip to the bathroom before I got myself settled in the studio for the long haul of the taping. Yes, as most people know it takes more than an hour to shoot a show with the same running time.
Margaret Cho  Saying "Hi"

Shooting begins roughly 20 minutes late. No big deal, the set of Fashion Police is way cool in person BTW. For the first part of the taping I am huddled in the audience area with the warm up comic who also cues everyone to cheer and laugh - laughter however is not a problem, especially with the likes of Margaret Cho and Nene Leakes, both hilarious!

One of the things that I loved about my experience on the set of FP was the party atmosphere of the shoot. Yes, people were working hard, but they were all having a blast! I mean how could you not? You will feel it in the finished product that you see on E! tonight!

Everyone seems to genuinely like and respect each other. It's definitely a family.

Also let me say this, for the 4 hours it took to shoot it. I was thoroughly entertained. I could not think of a better way to spend a rainy day in Los Angeles. Yes, it rained yesterday, I know, right?!

For the second part of the taping I hung with my friend Ken laughing like crazy at all of the hilarity that ensued on the stage before us.

And that's a wrap! The FP gang then posed for cast photos, I took one as you have already seen. Then as an unexpected perk I got to say "Hello" to Melissa Rivers after.

Me & Melissa Rivers

Oh, yeah what about the SAG Awards? What about them? Honestly with Fashion Police the show is the thing, the red carpet outfits are it's accessories.

Watch Margaret Cho, Nene Leakes, Brad Goreski, Giuliana Rancic & Melissa Rivers put some celebrities on the barbie tonight on E! Trust, you won't want to miss this!

(I Want To) Kill My Rapist” -   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7TXCmkhr-nE

“I am extremely proud to release American Myth. This is an album of anthems and showcases my first efforts as a composer. I made it with my longtime collaborator Garrison Starr and an incredible and inspiring crew of artists. It is my glamorous and glittering tribute to family, comedy, anger, fame, gayness, grief, fat pride, love and hate. “ – Margaret Cho

Back in November, Margaret made her musical performance debut with her band “The Dog Children”on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” with her fan favorite song “Lice.”   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYSfFSvuY58

“It’s a wonderful thing to be known as a ‘safe haven’ for people who feel disenfranchised. The audience at my shows don’t necessarily consider themselves traditional comedy fans. I seem to be a secure alternative for people who don’t think they’re being represented in society. They come because my point of view satisfies a lot of what needs to be said out there, and that makes me really proud.”

MARGARET PARTNERS WITH AMAZON FOR NEW DRAMEDY SERIES “HIGHLAND”

CATCH MARGARET ON “REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHER” FEBRUARY 12

2016 is the year of keeping it real. So who better to do that with than Margaret Cho?

Three time Grammy and Emmy nominee, comedian Margaret Cho has been named special co-host of E!’s comedy favorite “Fashion Police.”  “Fashion Police” will cover the biggest award shows of the 2016 season beginning Monday, January 11 with the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards special.

"I love joining the crew of Fashion Police. To me it feels like family. Although I am not quite a fashionista, I would love to look at it like I am changing it up - Fashion Police: Special Victims Unit. It makes me happiest to spend time with Melissa, and when I see her laugh at my jokes,  I feel like Joan is smiling, somewhere."  Margaret Cho

Margaret is also set to host the “New Now Next Honors” on the Logo Network February 1.  From the slopes of Aspen Gay Ski Week, “New Now Next Honors” is a celebration of what’s hot and, more importantly, what’s going to be in the year to come.

Speaking of the year to come, Margaret has signed a development deal with Amazon for her marijuana-themed family dramedy titled “Highland.”  The hour long project follows Cho, who after court-ordered rehab gets a chance to start over, but has to move in with her dysfunctional family who now run a pot dispensary.  Co-produced by Tomorrow Studios and Amazon Studios, “Highland” was created by Margaret Cho and writer Liz Sarnoff (“Deadwood,” “Lost,” “Alcatraz.”).  Cho is also attached to star and exec. produce, along with Becky Clements and Marty Adelstein of  Tomorrow Studios.

In addition, you can catch Margaret  on  Real Time with Bill Maher  Friday, February 12.
Margaret will also continue to tour with her ever evolving stand-up comedy show throughout 2016.  She will continue to tackle difficult subjects with sensitivity and razor sharp insight. A pioneer amongst women in comedy, Margaret doesn’t take anything for granted. “It’s a wonderful thing to be known as a ‘safe haven’ for people who feel disenfranchised. Santa's Little Helper, Clea Cutthroat

Santa's Little Latex Helper
Clea Cutthroat
Photo: Daria Marchik
As we all know, Santa has many little "helpers." However it's hard to really name one because they have always taken the backdoor position all these years to the man in the flashy red suit.

Well fate is a mysterious thing and I happen to know one of those "helpers" who tells Santa what to gift celebrities. "Yes" this is like a version of The National Enquirer except we are dishing on secrets from behind the Christmas "bear," I mean "beard."

Burlesque Beotch, Berlin's Clea Cutthroat is here to dish on what she has told Santa to get for the following ten celebrities. That's right Clea is here to judge whether they have been naughty or nice!

How does she rate you ask? You'd have to ask Santa that...Ho Ho Ho!

What to get a badass lady like Margaret Cho?

I want to give her something golden, some jewels.

I know! A golden pussy lipstick case, with ruby labia lips latch. I would also make her lipsticks in her favorite colors, and the tubes would be little golden cocks. Everything would be monogramed with “MC”. That would be fierce!!!!! Hmmmm…maybe, I need to make one for myself too!

Take Imodium!
Donald Trump
Donald Trump.
I can think of a lot of things to give him, but none of them are nice.

But hate doesn’t kill hate right? Awareness and compassion are so much more powerful. Wait! I got it! I would give Donald Trump a six-month intensive with a life coach- Bernie Sanders! If anyone can get into that brain…Bernie can!

I think I believe in Bernie more than Santa Claus.

But, out of fairness to Bernie, Santa needs to give him a BIG present, every day, for the rest of his life in repayment, lol.

Hair!
Jared Leto
Jared Leto
A brush? A mirror? All I can think of is his hair, lol.

Come Up & See Me Sometime, Clea
Madonna
Madonna
Madonna…Madonna…how I adore thee. I mean, what do you get the woman you have tattooed on your arm?!

I think I would get Madonna 8 Sexy Santa-ettes, 7 sexy elves, 6 bondage-clad reindeer, 5 stocking full of sex toys, 4 leather daddies to massage her, 3 hot girls in tuxedos to serve her champagne and lobster, 2 pairs of jingle balls (cough cough), and 1 Clea Cutthroat.

Saint Laverne Cox
Laverne Cox
Laverne has done so much, I have the urge to give back to her, and give her a day of pampering.

I’d get her a week holiday at a spa resort on the beach. Facials (no pun intended), manicures, pedicures, massages, drinks, sun…fun.

She deserves it!

The Art Of The Dita Von Teese
Dita Von Teese
Dita seems like a hot, cool, funny chick to me.

I would like to get her something fun!

I think I would get her the twerking butt sex machine. I would cover it in Swarovski’s just for her. I think it even comes with a remote control…total party win! Would look great on her bed, mounted on the wall…on the kitchen top, kitchen table…bathtub! It’s a real personality piece, and it’s a gift that just keeps on giving…and giving. I believe it’s a must have. I’m just drumming my fingers on the computer here waiting for it to appear on “Oprah’s favorite things” list.

Charlie Sheen
Which Partridge? Laurie?
Charlie Sheen
Oh Charlie. A lawyer? ….and a partridge in a pear tree

Hey Elizabeth, It's Flu Season!
Elizabeth Berkley
I would take Elizabeth out to get manicures like in Showgirls. Then a dress from Versace, and then when she is rolling her eyes at me (because people probably do this all the time) I would throw my arm around her, laugh, and say, “Come on girl, we’re gonna make it rain on some strippers!”

…and then a limo would pick us up and we would go to the Cheetah in Las Vegas.

Yeah…basically, it’s more about me living out my Showgirls movie fantasy. But, isn’t Christmas about giving, not receiving? ; )

I Take After My Dad
Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber
A gift certificate for a new tattoo? Hair gel? A long walk on the beach? Some understanding? A shoulder to cry on? A slap in the face? A boot to lick?

Maybe I would get him a session with a Dominatrix. I think that would pretty much tie all his needs up in a little red….rope ; )

Caught! Practicing On A Cheeto
Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian
Hmmm…Kim is a tough one. But, given the holiday spirit, and we need to put our differences aside (unless you are Donald Trump). I think I would take Kim out to a Drag Bar to get wasted! Poor thing probably needs a break from Kayne, right?

Maybe after a few martinis I can get her to spit some blood, rip off her couture and stage dive into the arms of drag queens! How awesome would that be?!?!

You are welcome! ; )
Ho Ho Ho!

Happy Holidays Everyone!

Who's Your Favorite DICKtator, Margaret Cho?

Margaret Cho
as
Kim Jong Il
While Margaret Cho is most famous for her portrayal of North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il on 30 Rock for which she received an Emmy Nomination. She has decided to take on portraying and slaying even more of them in her music video DICKtator which drops today.

So many new videos on Tuesday December 1st results in red eye, in a good way, I always say.

Margaret has something to say about it, hey you didn't think she wouldn't did you?!

"Here's a fun song I did with Princess Superstar and C Fire Da Rambler. It struck me that we needed an apocalyptic battle rhymes song to deal with the news of the day. My friends and I played dictators through history and Andy my partner shot it all on our  phones and edited it on my laptop. We laughed so much while making it and we hope you do too" - Margaret Cho

Cheers, here's to you Donald Trump!
