On Wednesdays We Wear Pink

Colorful, As Always
Pink
Hey all you "Mean Girls" out there it's Wednesday, hope you have your pink on, while I am not wearing pink, I am bringing the pink as in Pink the singing superstar!

She was caught looking just as colorful as her namesake in New York City recently. Pink has been keeping a pretty low profile, but has been seen out and about and been performing more recently.

Cheers that she is planning something big and the world will become Pink and we just live in it.

We could all use some of her dynamic singing and performing again in these obtuse times.

It's Wednesday and I am definitely bringing my Pink game to the table.

Ciao!

Get To Know Zachary Webber

Zachary Webber
Actor Zachary Webber is one cool dude. How do I know? I have co-starred with him on stage in a two person play. Since then Zach has kept very busy in his chosen career. Delving into everything from voice over to comedy and of course film. I knew when I met Zach he was going places. He has not proved me wrong. He recently had a role in Meg Ryan's directorial debut Ithaca which starred her and Tom Hanks. Zach is here to answer ten random things I have thrown at him. I can't wait to say "I knew him when!"

MS: Ithaca
ZW: I did a scene with Sam Shepard, and I personally made him break while improvising. It is and may always be the greatest moment in my career. I could have died on the spot. I doubt he remembers my name.

MS: Texas

ZW: It's my home, and it's where my heart is, or at least pieces of it. There's nothing particular about Texas if you grew up there and weren't meant to stay. The cows and the food and the bigotry are the main components, and if you ascribe to them all, you stay. I had to go to the big cities. I had to challenge everything I knew, and I still am today.
Rhinestone Cowboy?!
MS: Sasquatch Comedy
ZW: My best friends. Sasquatch has become my rock. I don't know where I'd be today without them.
MS: Barbie Dream House
ZW: My sister had one. Even I, an 8 year old boy, was sort of mesmerized by the thing. I had my own version at the time, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Sewer Lair. But the Dream House was so big. The allure of having a house with a beautiful woman must have started there.
MS: Meg Ryan

ZW: I was enamored with Meg my whole life. When Harry Met Sally is still my favorite movie. She's as kind and gorgeous as you'd expect. One of the nicest people I will ever meet.
MS: Romance Novels
ZW: I never knew they would be the launch pad for my career. Somehow it has become my day job to read these books. If you'd told me when I was 16 that having a sex voice would earn me money I would have scoffed, and my voice would have broke in the process.
MS: Singing

ZW: Always a passion, never a practice.
MS: Puppy Love
ZW: 😎 I have a hard time imagining this one right now. I've known love, but it's always indelibly tied to heartbreak. I'm waiting for puppy love that stays young, as love should. I've always been with people who were dead wrong for me, who I loved deeply. My recent breakup is a testament to that, at an insane level. I had feelings I never knew I could feel. It was such immense passion, but only that. I think of leaves falling and her face, and I just cry. But we were wrong for each other. It's a sad truth everyone must face at some point. Maybe not everyone. But I'm not the type to hide from love. I dive in, at times to my detriment.
MS: Burning Man
ZW: It didn't change my life, it served my life in the moment I needed it most. I needed to be away from the world and see what genuine goodness could be. That can't be taken away. Coming back to earth has been very hard though.
MS: Favorite Drink

Who's That Birthday Grrrrrrrrrl?

Guess Who?
If you guessed Adele, well then you are correct and have powers beyond reason, because I certainly did not recognize her in drag as George Michael, not in the least.

Yep this is what she wore to her 27th Birthday Celebration.

She Tweeted the following:

"Thank you for the birthday wishes I had a wonderful time!" Adele wrote. "I was my hero x #gottahavefaith."
It's Me!
To which George Michael responded:

"Happy Birthday @OfficialAdele !!!" he Tweeted back. "I'm so flattered, love The Singing Greek! xxx."

Adele's highly anticipated third album is scheduled for released this fall, keep the faith!

The Late Show: Darlene Love's Last Stand

Darlene Love Is Amazing!
Tune in tonight everyone, it's my friend and awesome person, Darlene Love's last stand on The Late Show with David Letterman singing Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) -

I had the extreme pleasure of interviewing Ms. Love about her Concert Of Love for Chorus and Verse, jump to that here:

http://www.chorusandverse.com/content.php?id=20101110a

This was when she was nominated and eventually claimed her spot in the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame.

She states: "When I am singing it I am telling everyone to go back home to their loved ones"

The song has now become a Christmas staple sung by the likes of Mariah Carey and Michael Buble'.

Love you Darlene! (no pun intended) I will be tuning in tonight!

Sandy Zacky Puts A Spell On You

Sandy Zacky Is Magic!
It's time to get your witch on! Thus it must be Halloween, Yay! This is the time of year we turn and face the strange with open arms. It's also when our thoughts turn to music along the lines of Michael Jackson's Thriller & Bobby Pickett's Monster Mash.

Every year on Entertain Me we celebrate with the song Witchcraft covered by it's resident chanteuse Sandy with a "Y" not "E" Zacky.

Originally recorded by Frank Sinatra, Ms. Zacky's rendition is flawless and her vocals are on par with old blues eyes crooning.

Check out our one one one chat we had a few years back here on EM.

Sandy Zacky Brings Her Brand Of "Witchcraft" To "Show Me Talk Radio"

Now what would Halloween be without "Entertain Me"s resident chanteuse Sandy with a "Y" not "E" Zacky singing her rendition of "Witchcraft" well it would not be Halloween at all...

But this Halloween is a little different Sandy is giving us another treat this most Haunted of Holidays by bringing her special brand of magic to "Sandy Zacky Part 2" on "Show Me Talk Radio". - and she couldn't be happier "I think it sounds great. Lots of talk and lots of music. I am so happy with it" says Ms. Z.

It's "Witchcraft"
Some of the talk includes Sandy with a "Y" discussing some of her favorite artists that include Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughn.

Give your Halloween Season a little extra bit of "Witchcraft" & Magic courtesy of Sandy and her love of music.

Happy Halloween.

Best Wishes,
Sandy Zacky
