It's Summertime, Don't Be Cruel

It's the first day of Summer and the motto for it is "Don't Be Cruel!" It's also just another Manic Thursday - what? Monday isn't the only manic day of the week it simply had a nice ring and thus The Bangles birthed a ditty about it. So it is, and so it shall be written forever, indeed.

This week has been quite challenging to myself and many children who had no right to have the scars left on them by the monster in the closet they always feared. 

Moving on...

I'm officially down 45lbs. - that's correct I weigh 168!

But what does it mean?!

Yeah, they weren't sitting in a tree, that's so dated. Chris Pratt & Katherine Schwarzenegger the eldest daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger & Maria Shriver. 
Were spotted on Father's Day on a bench in a park in Santa Barbara, CA.

As you may recall Chris and his also famous wife, Anna Faris divorced not too long ago. 

This was his first Father's Day without his kids, but, hey they're all right.

Whatever is, or isn't happening with Chris & Katherine, their reps aren't commenting. Silence is golden after all.

Don't they simply look cute as a dickens together?

While my Father passed away a while ago from Cancer, lung to be exact, this year I thought I would take a different approach to the designated day for Dad's. 

That's correct it's time to play "Who's Your Daddy!" Yay! Hooray! 

Now that it's out there, perhaps I could be yours. My name is Michael, I'll be your Daddy tonight. Hey, it wouldn't be the first (nor last) time I've ever been called that.

After all "I will be your preacher teacher, (Be your daddy)", Father Figure, ya know.

To all you Father's out there it's your day, celebrate. To all you Daddy's out there, keep doing you.

Meghan Markle & Queen Elizabeth II

How many Duchesses does it take to make a Queen smile? Apparently just one if you happen to be the Meghan Markle Duchess of Sussex. 

Whatever Ms. Markle said to Queen Elizabeth II must be worth it's weight in gold. Seldom has anyone every seen HRH this giddy with delight.

Further proof that Meghan was the perfect commoner to become Royal. Let this be a lesson to all of you, a sense of humor goes a long way.

Just Because my computer crashed today. Just Because I now have a sparkly awesome new one & Just Because the first thing I saw when I got set-up and logged on was this, and it made me smile. Why It's none other than Natalie Portman working a polka dot dress.

Polka Dots are fun and so is Portman's infectious smile while sporting them. Let's face it, very few people can pull off "dots" Natalie slays and then some in them.

Finally I am up and running and coming at ya on the good ole WWW again.
