Believe in magic Minions I do! Hey it's magic that morphed my friend Karen Castrischer-Stegall into the Hatter and me into Alice whilst we were visiting Disneyworld's Magic Kingdom.

It's National Drink Wine Day...Yay!

February 18th is National Drink Wine Day! While I need no encouragement to do so (I drink it almost every day) - it's nice to have a special yearly celebration for it.

Jennifer Lawrence too loves her wine, in fact she wants someone to hook up with her for a picnic to imbibe in her adult beverage of choice.

She is quite emphatic about this giving you that come hither "drink some wine with me look" join her in celebrating with me by hitting the bottle, wont' you? I'm sure you will!

Well I'm off to get my corkscrew and a bottle of Chardonnay if you need to find me you know where I'll be...

So in the name of levity I posted it.

In case you need to know Harry prefers a natural bush for himself. Lisa likes hers Brazilian style.

Now aren't you happy? I personally feel my life is now complete and I have the strength to Sally Forth this Sunday and go to uncharted territory.

Venom

On March 25th, Blue Underground proudly presents the world premiere of the British horror-thriller classic Venom on 4K UHD + Blu-ray, in a brand-new 4K restoration packed with bonus content.  

Venom stars Susan George (Straw Dogs) and Oliver Reed (The Devils) as a maid and chauffeur who conspire with international terrorist Klaus Kinski (Nosferatu the Vampyre) to kidnap the grandson of their rich boss Sterling Hayden (Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb). Their simple plan falls apart when the grandson brings home a snake that turns out to be a deadly Black Mamba. The aggressive reptile gets loose in the posh London apartment and the abduction turns into a fight for survival.  

Venom was directed by Piers Haggard (The Blood on Satan's Claw) and is based on the novel by best-selling author Alan Scholefield (Great Elephant). The kidnapping drama/horror film features an all-star cast, including Nicol Williamson (Excalibur), Sarah Miles (Blow-Up), and Cornelia Sharpe (Serpico).  

The 4K UHD + Blu-ray Edition’s special features include an archival audio commentary with Director Piers Haggard; new audio commentary with film historians Troy Howarth, Nathaniel Thompson and Eugenio Ercolani; new video interviews with Editor/Second Unit Director Michael Bradsell, Makeup Artist Nick Dudman, Author & Critic Kim Newman, and The Dark Side’s Allan Bryce; Trailers; TV spots; and Still Gallery. This past weekend I visited the Magic Kingdom at Disneyworld in Orlando, FL  with one of my oldest and dearest friends Karen Castrischer-Stegall, it was indeed magic! The above photo is of me watching the fireworks show, Karen being the savvy photog she is captured the moment. Looking up into the night sky with the colorful, happy light display brought joy and hope to my being and made me think dreams and wishes do indeed come true.
