Walking In LA...
I live in what they refer to as a walkable neighborhood in Los Angeles, meaning I can get to most everything I need to on foot.
Thus it gives one a different perspective than when you travel in your car all the time.
It allows me to see things I wouldn't usually see and take in views around me with a unique perspective.
The other day I was on a mission to Home Depot and this is the view that caught my photographers eye.
It was taken from behind the driveway on the backside of HD and "Yes" you can obviously really see the Hollywood Sign from there.
Hey, on a clear day you can see forever...

Hump Day & Chill

And Just Like That... It's over...
Today I am going to give a Hump Day & Chill send off of sorts to And Just Like That...
"Yes" the show wasn't perfect, in fact far from it. But I did enjoy it nonetheless and it was a nice escape for forty-five minutes each week.
These characters are like family at this point to many of us after all. I do realize there were some who hate watched it, but not me. I just went with it and was content seeing these people every week that have been such a big part of pop culture and several million people's lives.
While the series finale seemed a little abrupt I am not upset with the way the show ended. I thought it was a good note to go out on.
Carrie's epilogue was perfection IMO.
"The woman realized she was not alone - she was on her own"
And Just Like That...the series came to an end.

Cool (For The Summer) Cats

Another Monday another yoga class at Hollywood Forever Cemetery...
For those of you not in the know I practice yoga in Hollywood at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. It's an oasis in the middle of the city and it feels like you in a completely other world.
Many animals are to be found on the grounds from Peacocks, Geese and Turtles to name a few.
So every time I am there I get to enjoy various living creatures. Of course the one staple every place like this has is feral cats roaming the grounds.
Here's two cool cats keeping it real cool for the summer on top of someone who has been laid to rests marker.
They must have known I was coming as they seemingly struck a pose.
Hope your summer is going well and remember no matter how cool you are you will never be as cool as the cats at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

Half Dizzy
Hot off their recent first-place win in Alternative Press’s fan poll for Best Long Island Band, Half Dizzy is back with big news and a brand-new track. The band has revealed the title and cover art for their upcoming album, Yard Sale, set for release later this year.
In the meantime, fans can dig into “All or None,” a punchy, uplifting punk anthem that looks back on the challenges of youth, celebrates perseverance, and honors the growth that comes from struggle. Produced and recorded by Pete Steinkopf of The Bouncing Souls at Little Eden, mixed by Neil Tuuri at Amish Electric Chair Studios, and mastered by Christopher H. Fogal at Black in Bluhm, the track captures the band’s trademark mix of grit, melody, and heart.
“This upbeat anthem looks back on the wild ride of youth, celebrating the challenges conquered and lessons learned along the way. It's a vibrant, feel-good anthem for anyone who's grown through struggle and came out stronger on the other side," says guitarist/vocalist Daniel Marchelewski.
