Two Witches

"Terrifying"

     —Bloody Disgusting

With its super-saturated color palette, tenebrous art design and electrifying soundtrack, Two Witches presents two truly terrifying conjoined tales of witchery, paranoia and terror that hark back to the gory thrills of classic Euro horrors such as Suspiria, Shock  and The Beyond. Expectant young mother Sarah is convinced she has been given the evil eye from a mysterious blank-eyed old hag while she is dining with her bullish and insensitive partner Simon. When the couple go to visit his new-agey friends Dustin and Melissa, dark forces are unleashed after an ill-advised attempt at consulting a Ouija board to allay her fears. Meanwhile, tensions grow between grad school student Rachel and her new roommate Masha after a violent incident involving a man that the strange and impulsive young woman has brought home. First-time feature director Pierre Tsigaridis, who also shot, edited and contributed to the film's soundtrack, singles himself out as one to watch in a deft and unnerving depiction of unspeakable evil that truly delivers.

Michael's Musings

Nothing Human Loves Forever
Michael Shinafelt

When I was growing up I always wanted to be a Vampire. "Yes" Minions it's true, Angelina Jolie and I have something in common. Ponder that won't you? Please do. What's that you ask? What's my favorite vampire movie? The Hunger...Only 25 more days until Halloween!!!

Lisa Rinna is a 60 year old sociopath on Tik Tok #RHOBH

Honestly last night's episode of #RHOBH gave me a splitting headache!

Thank God season two of Chucky premiered after, I needed a palette cleanse. Don Mancini is really an intelligent writer, quite clever. The premiere was so good!

BTW stop wiggling around like a tampon sliding out

FYI The dildo of consequences rarely arrives lubed. The more you know...

Return of the freaks, discuss

I'm taking away your emotional support lizard, so there!!!

Why is it your first instinct to always light someone's hair on fire? Asking for a friend

Woman Crush of the Week - Catherine Deneuve in The Hunger. The most bad ass vampire of them all!

There's some horrors in this house

Did you know someone actually invented Twatwaffles???

Shove a pumpkin up your ass, then describe the sensation to me

I saw they are going to shoot Sister Act 3, you mean there already isn't one?!?!

Come with me to the dark side

Hump Day & Chill

I Think We're Alone Now
Jennifer Tilly & Chucky

Alright Minions with it being the most wonderful time of the year you must have some idea of what we are going to Hump Day & Chill with today, no?

Well if you think about it, but not too much. What awesome TV series based on a homicidal doll debuts it's second season tonight at 9pm on USA and SyFy Networks?

It's everyone's favorite red head Chucky!!!

Here he is with looking quite chummy with his co-star Jennifer Tilly who plays Tiffany Valentine, will she be yours? Fingers crossed and butcher knives drawn she won't (consider that a VD gift.)

The first season of Chucky was amazing, so unexpectedly inventive. The reviews for season two say it this season is even better than the first. I'm not sure how they could top the first, equal it, yeah, but topping it?! Wow! This is going to be a Hump Day & Chill Halloween treat!!!

Guess Who?

Oh Baby!

The Halloween Season is in Full Terror Mode! I for one as so happy you could put a stake in me and I'd just be getting started. Death is only the beginning after all...

Well guess what time it is Minions?! It's time to play Guess Who The Baby Yoda is, yay!!!

Some of you may already know who, because as the saying goes: "If you know, you know"

I however never would have figured it out if it didn't state the person's identity next to the photo. I swear on Dracula's coffin, I wouldn't.

Well Baby Yoda turns out to be none other than Queen Flautist Lizzo!!!

Great costume grrrrrl keep on being fierce and tooting those historic crystal flutes...

Mic Drop!!!

It's Mean Girls Day!!!

"Mean Girls' came out in 2004. Mean Girls Day is on October 3rd because in movie, Lindsay Lohan's character Cady Heron recalls a scene where her crush, Aaron Samuels, asks her what day it is and she responds, “It's October 3rd.”

"Yes" Minions this is the origin of Mean Girls Day in case you didn't know, well now you do.

On a personal note, I guess there really is no other when it's my blog and I'm saying something about myself. Mean Girls is one of my favorite movies evuh! I have seen it South of ten times it's so fetch!

Also it's a reason to get excited for October 3rd, there I said it.

Hey, even though it isn't Wednesday it's OK to celebrate your inner Mean Girl and wear pink. Surrender it even if you like...

"Boo, You Whore!"

The Kindred

"Deep flesh tones and heavy primaries look spectacular."

     —Matt Paprocki, Doblu

Academy Award®-winning screen legends Rod Steiger (In the Heat of the Night; Duck, You Sucker) and Kim Hunter (A Streetcar Named Desire; Planet of the Apes) star in The Kindred, a chilling tale of a genetic experiment gone wrong... very wrong! Kim Hunter is Dr. Amanda Hollins, a molecular scientist who calls on her son John (David Allen Brooks) to eliminate all evidence of her genetic experiments... most specifically her "Anthony Journals." Dr. Philip Lloyd (Steiger), an acquaintance of Hollins who is familiar with her experiments, wants to continue her studies no matter the cost! John heads to his isolated childhood home with a group of friends to uncover his mother's research and destroy it all. There's something else in the house, however... something watching and waiting... a tentacled creature born from the desire to alter human evolution. It's evil. It's mad. It's ready to kill! One of the best "creature features" of the 1980s, utilizing all practical special effects, The Kindred also stars Amanda Pays (TV's The Flash, Leviathan) and Talia Balsam (TV's Mad Men, Homeland).

Hello October...

Alfred Hitchcock's
Psycho

I love the Fall and I especially love October as it is Spooky Season all month long! "Yes" this is truly the most wonderful time of the year (if you know, you know.)

Thus welcome October 1st, that makes it a mere 30 days until Halloween...Boo!!!

I am commemorating the first day of October 2022 with a montage of images from one of my favorite horror classics of all time Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho.

This is a film I watch every year to celebrate the macabre and never tire of, I've definitely seen it South of twenty times.

What's that you ask? No I'm not going to get into why I will leave that up to more capable hands. The Minions behind Wikipedia, naturally...

Gird your loins and let's have some scary fun this month!!!
